I thought I lost you

Chapter 25

The east wing of the palace was totally damaged because of the incident. Soldiers together with Jamima appeared after the last explosion.

“Mother!” Jamima rushed to her mother’s side. “What happened here?”

“Lucifer was able to come inside the elven lands.” Luna said on the verge to cry as she sees Philander in great pain with Inuyasha’s kidnapping and the kidnapping of her youngest itself.

“What! How?” Jamima asked in utter surprise.

Luna faced them “It is because of Inuyasha.”

“What do you mean Grandmother Luna?” Jamima asked.

“It is not unknown to you that the blood used to awaken Lucifer was Inuyasha’s.” Luna said in a tone full of wisdom but with the hint of worry.

Jamima nodded as Luna continued “it only means that Lucifer is connected to Inuyasha in blood level.”

“So you mean…” Jamima’s face contorted from calm to shock as everything dawned to her. “Oh no…”

“Yes Jamima… Wherever Inuyasha goes Lucifer will be able to find him.” Luna verbalized the dreaded words.

“Your highnesses!” A soldier called out to them as he was knelt beside an unconscious body. “Lord Sesshomaru!”

Jamima rushed to him to see his condition as Elvira walked towards Philander.

“My son…” Elvira touched Philander’s shoulder.

“I’m weak mother…” Philander was kneeled to the ground his head bowed, his face was hidden by his long silky silvery white hair.

“No Philander! That’s not true!” Elvira said in reprimand.

“No mother… I’m weak… I was not able to save Inuyasha… how do you expect me to be your king if I myself can’t save my love.” Philander said in monotone but Elvira can sense the dejection and mourning in his voice. “I’m sorry… Inuyasha…”

“Stop this at once Philander!” Elvira scolded as she picked Philander up from the arm. “What’s wrong with you? You’re not the Philander I used to know! The Philander I know never gives up! The Philander I know is at this very moment, he is preparing to save Inuyasha from that vile being known as Lucifer!” Elvira cupped Philander’s face with her hands “all is not lost my son…” Elvira said gently and motherly “we know that Lucifer will not kill Inuyasha and to that we can save him from him.”

“Mother…” Philander said as he hugged her and Elvira did the same. “That’s my son…” said Elvira.


Jamima rushed to the unconscious body of Sesshomaru and checked his vital signs. “Thank goodness he’s okay…” Jamima said as she released a long held breath. She squealed when Sesshomaru’s eyes opened and he sat.

“A- re… are you okay?” Jamima said almost afraid.

“Yes… you do not need to attend to my injuries it will heal by itself.” Sesshomaru said as he rose to stand and offered his hand to Jamima.

“Thank you…” Jamima said but Sesshomaru was already walking away. *UGH! You can rival Philander’s condescending attitude mister Sesshomaru!* Jamima mentally said to herself.


Sesshomaru walked towards Philander and Elvira followed by a secretly fuming Jamima.

“Oh! Sesshomaru.” Elvira acknowledged

“I am very sorry for what I did when I attacked you Queen Elvira.” Sesshomaru said as he bowed to her. “I am also sorry that I wasn’t able to help because of the purifying spell done to me that rendered me immobile.”

“Oh! Lord Sesshomaru there is no need for formalities please, please stand.” Elvira said as she straightened Sesshomaru up.

“Inuyahsa is at Morgrin. Inside the Black Citadel.” Sesshomaru stated. Everyone looked at him. “I can feel a very strong youkai towards its direction. The same youkai when Lucifer was awakened.”




Meanwhile at the Alliance of Demons Hall…

The high table was changed into a large round table where all governing youkais were seated.

“The condemned demon Lucifer is awakened.” The dragon youkai stated.

“Indeed… we are lucky that our race can withstand dark energy that he has unleashed but we can only withstand so much that if we reach our limit we turn into our youkai form and become blood thirsty monsters.” A wolf youkai supplied.

“The royal families need not to think of that. Our blood can withstand the awakening energy. What I’m worried about are the low level youkai’s and the weak frail humans.” A tiger youkai said with a pang of disgust from the later words. “What do you suggest Inu Taisho?”

“Right at this very moment the “call of awakening” has made sporadic damages in my lands. As a move I ordered the institution of barrier towers to shield my lands from the call.” Inu Taisho said.

“A temporary solution for a permanent predicament.” A man with a high pitched voice materialized in the shadow. His voice was high pitched the kind that is gentle to the ears. He has two buns of hair at each side of his head that hangs low; his face was snow white while he wears a geisha make- up red full lips. He’s wearing pitch black flowing gown like dress that is long sleeved and is waving a big black fan. The unknowing eye would mistake him as a woman but his voice was a give away.

“Who are you?” The dragon youkai asked. Everyone was still seated by the round table but is on guard.

“You forgot already? You really hurt me…” the man said in mock drama “you forgot the one demon that almost brought all of you to insanity?” the man giggled in his mischievousness.

“The awakener… Subrealle!” the tiger slashed at the demon that was able to evade the attack with a very high leap. Subrealle laughed while he leapt with his fan covering his face letting only his eyes and above be seen.

He landed at a fair distance by the door. “For those who still doesn’t know me… I am Subrealle the Support specialist one of the generals, the scientist general of Lucifer… and yes… I am responsible for conjuring the “Demons howl” the very spell that will awaken the trapped youkai’s inside of you. I know they’re dying to break out.” He said flirtingly with a short giggle at the end. “Oh…” He disappeared with a black light smoke and repapered at the back of Inutaisho. “Inutaisho… the high royal demon of the dogs… It’s been a long time… how is your son? What’s his name? Se… Sesshomaru?” He said as he held on to Inutaisho’s shoulder.

“If you don’t want your arm shoved down your garrulous mouth you will lift your hand off my shoulder.” Inutaisho said in icy monotone.

“Feisty puppy… don’t be that way… aren’t you happy to see me again?...” Subrealle kept on talking not noticing that the dragon youkai’s tail was creeping towards his back. The tail took aim and speared to Subrealle. A loud cling sound was heard.

“Hn… I’m very disappointed.” Subrealle straightened up “I forgot how deceitful you demons can be…” Subrealle opened his fan, covered his face once more and walked slowly backwards.

“Subrealle… your garrulousness almost brought you to your demise.” a low manly voice was heard throughout the room. A masculine tall man wearing a black metal armor appeared. He has white short hair and a fair complexion, he has a slash scar on his left eye, and his right eyeball was red. His body was very masculine and he holds a very broad sword with a dragon carved at the middle. He puts his sword at his back and stood by a pillar where the shadow and light meets.

“These pitiful demons ever dare attack me!” Subrealle’s voice was almost screaming some of his loose strand hair was starting to rise from the dark aura Subrealle was releasing. “You’ve got some nerve!” his voice now was growling as his eyes turned pitch black but the odd thing there is his eyes seems to glow.

The large doors opened with a bang as soldiers come in to surround Subrealle. He smiled “Perfect… new PETS!” almost instantly black light from the floor engulfed the soldiers as howls and growls were heard.

The alliance members are all standing on guard. Subrealle’s high pitched laughter was heard throughout the room. “THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR MAKING ME ANGRY!” the black aura that engulfed the soldiers dissipated and revealed three giant chimeras. One nuzzled down to Subrealle which he pet and kissed.

The man by the pillar changed his position from standing to crossing his arms on his chest. Subrealle noticed the gesture and looked at the man. “Oh Doraughntte don’t be jealous… he’s just a pet.” Subrealle once again looked at the alliance members “it’s feeding time.”

The chimeras looked at the alliance members; they snapped and growled waiting for Subrealle’s order. “Go my babies.” The chimeras lunged towards the alliance members.

An eagle youkai was preparing to evade an attack when black chains suddenly appeared and entangled him. A chimera saw this and quickly took it to its advantage. It lunged towards the eagle youkai and bit it. The other two chimeras saw this and quickly bit into the hanging extremity of the youkai and pulled. The last thing known from the youkai was screams of agony and munches from the chimeras while they eat its flesh.

“An example of what will happen to all of you.” Subrealle said and laughed out loud.

“I will not tolerate this…” The dragon youkai stated as his aura blasted out of his body. A howl/ growl was heard as loud crunches of bones were heard and the crumbling of the alliance hall to the ground.

When everything settled a black dragon was seen flying in the air. Its body was long and snake like. Its fierce eyes were directed at the chimers who growls at the dragon.

Subrealle was protected from the debris by Doraughntte. His cape was covering Subrealle, where he in turn embraced the man “my knight in shinning armor.” Subrealle teased, Doraughntte just looked straight at the sight before him. Subrealle looked at what Dorauhntte was looking at and marveled at the dragon youkai. “Pity… I want you to be my pet… but I don’t want disobedient ones.” Subrealle opened his fan again and pointed towards the chimeras. The chimeras grew wings of bats. They instantly flapped and charged at the dragon.

Explosions can be seen in the sky, it seems like fire works from the ground. But the ground was another thing. The tiger and wolf youkai were now in their true youkai forms and was fighting with one chimera.

Inutaisho was still in humanoid form and was able to evade a chimera’s attack. “Enough playing games… I’m tired already.” He slashed his arm and a green ribbon like rope slashed through the air and entangled the chimera. The chimeras skin that was in contact with the ribbon sizzled as acid slowly eat its way down to its muscles. The chimera howls in pain “I will not prolong your agony.” Inutaisho pulled on to the ribbon and the chimera was sliced into pieces that in turn disintegrated from the very strong acid.

The wolf youkai was able to know the other chimera down and the tiger youkai quickly bit into its neck and bit out its throat. The tiger youkai spit out the flesh on the ground. Another chimera body fell to the ground engulfed in flames as the dragon youkai descended from the air and as he transform into humanoid form.

“Always the dramatic type.” The wolf youkai humorously commented said as he transformed into humanoid form “he’s so dramatic that he should destroy the alliance hall.” The tiger youkai added with a small smile. “Is that all? Subrealle?” the dragon youkai said condescendingly.

“Ha ha ha!” Subrealle laughed as he walked out under Doraughntte’s cape “That’s not all… now you’re going to face ME…” His eyes turned glowing black once again, his was released from the buns and released two black iron like balls that made craters when it fell. Two parts of his black flowing hair rose and wrapped itself to his hand that then form into large black claws. He two black balls rose to the air and broke down into smaller balls that grew spikes. “Now we begin!” Subrealle charged to the youkais dragging his large claws as it sliced to the ground. As he neared the youkais a lady bat youkai attacked but her claws slashed through air as Subrealle disappeared with a light black smoke, he re- appeared at her back, he grinned widely and thrust his claws in to her. The bat youkai screamed “You’ll help me darling… a beautiful pet, that’s what you’ll be.” Subrealle’s eyes glowed more as the bat youkai screamed in excruciating pain, he released his claws from her body “go KILL THEM ALL!” he said as he laughed like insane.

“You underestimated me you leech!” The bat youkai staggeringly said “A royal bat youkai cannot be controlled that easily!” She slashe her claws toSubrealles face. Subrealle was shocked with the action but he was able to leap away from the attack. The bat youkai showed her claws to him and he smirked, that then contorted to shock as a small amount of blood trickled down his face. The bat youkai was able to shallowly wound his face.

Subrealle screamed “YOU! YOU BITCH! YOU WILL DIE FOR THIS!!!” He was motionless, throwing daggers at the bat youkai. “What? You tend to kill me by staring?” the bat youkai sarcastically commented.

“No you imbecile… I was thinking of a good way to kill you but I thought you’ll die which any I kill you… so take THIS!” Subrealle’s hair shot up like spikes from underneath the bat youkai skewing her. She screamed from the pain and Subrealle just smiled from delight “Still not dead?...” Subrealle sarcastically asked “Well then… bye!” the small spiked balls hovered around her which divided in to smaller balls that looked like pellets. The balls revolved around her in blinding speed that cut her flesh in needle like incisions, she screamed with every cut.

The other youka’s prepared to save her but was stopped by a barrier that Doraughntte created. Inutaisho was able to break the barrier but was too late for the bat’s body was unrecognizable and was left of her seemed to disintegrate from the pellets.

The dragon the tiger, wolf and dragon youkai attacked Doraughntte as Inutaisho slowly walked to face Subrealle that in turn smiled welcomingly “Inutaisho… are you here for me?” he said, mock, lovingly. “Yes Subrealle… I’m here for you… I’m here for your head.” Inutaisho said then he was a blur. He appeared at Subrealle’s back and clawed his head but Subrealles hair fan out to form a shield. Subrealle giggled and slashed Inutaisho which he easily evaded. The pellets shot to Inutaisho but instead hit the ground which crumbles and shatters from the impact for he was able to evade it. Intutaisho stretch out his arm and made a barrier that covered the ground to where the pellets are. “You intend to stop them with that huh Inutaisho?” Subrealle mockingly said. Inutyaisho just smiled, he slowly raised his arm as if he was carrying something with his hand as part of the ground was raised to the air containing the pellets “I don’t intend to stop it Subrealle… I intend to destroy it.”

“No…” Subrealle was shocked to see part of the ground was encased in the barrier where his pellets were.

“From the depths of the earth I call upon the blazing inferno” Inutaisho started chanting “you are the one that burns everything lend me your power… INFERNO!” Molten rock burst out of the ground and engulfed the barrier containing the pellets; he released the barrier and looked at Subrealle. “By the look on your face you seem sad… would you like to join your creations? RAGING INFERNO!” Inutaisho said.

Subrealle looked at Inutaisho in shockas the magma shot up from the ground towards Subrealle. His hair quickly formed a sphere encasing him which was engulfed by the lava. More lava came out from the ground as what seems to be a volcanic eruption was heard.

“HEPHAUSTUS’ HAMMER!” Inutaisho called on a battle cry. From underneath the earth a giant muscular man emerged. His face was covered by an Iron mask and the part from his waist down was still under ground, but he doesn’t look short at all. He raised his arm to the air as shots of lightning shot to his hand to form a lightning ball; he curled his hand in to a fist as a gigantic hammer bigger that him appeared, he then stretched and slammed the hammer on the raging inferno to where Subrealle is.

Doraughntte was able to act quickly. When he had the chance he was able to release a strong slash of energy that was able to hit the three youkais, he then closed the raging inferno by a strong slash to the ground with his broad sword, disappear like a blur and reappear to where Subrealle is and stop Hephaestus’ hammer using his broad sword. “SUBREALLE!” Doraughntte called out as he bears the weight of Hephaestus’ hammer “SUBREALLE! Can you hear me!”

The sphere broke revealing a limp Subrealle, he was hyperventilating from the lack of air. “thank goodness you’re safe. I need you to teleport us out of here NOW!” Doraughntte ordered SUbrealle just nodded at that for he still wasn’t able to recover from the attack. A round shadow formed from under Subrealle and Doraughntte.

“You will not leave this place alive!” The dragon youkai shot a fire ball towards the two.

The shadow that formed beneath them encased them in a sphere and disappeared. The hammer hit the ground with a titanic explosion together with the fire ball. When everything settled a kilometer wide crater was created.



At Murglor…

A floating fire lit throne room with a long pathway that was margined by giant pillars lead to a majestic throne.

Lucifer was seated in his throne looking at the two gigantic wooden doors that has his seal engraved on it. “Your highness… it is me… your humble servant Anarina.”

“Enter.” His manly voice echoed throughout the throne room.

Anarina entered the room and slowly walked towards the throne. She stopped near the 1st step from the throne’s elevation, bowed and kneeled. “Forgive me for my uselessness my king… I wasn’t able to open the Demon’s gate because of the wretched princess Jamima.”

“You are forgiven Anarina… you are fortunate, for I am in such a good mood that I don’t care about the Demon gate for now…” Lucifer said with a smile on his face.

“I thank you my king…” Anarina bowed lower as she said that.

“Do not thank me Anarina… Thank him.” Lucifer gestured to his back. Inuyasha appeared from the shadows his youkai was in control of him for his eyes were crimson and his fangs are elongated. He slowly walked to Lucifer’s left side and kneeled by the throne enough that his face was level with Lucifer’s cheeks. He moved closer and slowly licked Lucifer’s cheeks.

Lucifer the smiled and turned his head towards Inuyahsa and they locked lips.
