Sesshoumaru headed for his boundary. He flew toward the village his brother and Kagome stayed at. He was sure that Kagome knew what the collar was for. He was also sure that the gods had something to do with the thing. Only Kagome would know for sure. So he was in search of her. He hadn't flew far when he sensed a powerful presence coming toward him. He would stop and wait for her.

Kagome was walking along following everyone else. She didn't know if she wanted to see Sesshoumaru so soon. And Inuyasha appeared to be glad they were going to find his brother. She knew he was angry at him for the mark on her neck. Luckily it was beginning to fade. She had to find a way to stop them from fighting. Inuyasha she could take care of but she wasn't sure about Sesshoumaru.
She felt the mark on her neck pulse slightly. She stopped closed her eyes and searched the area for any sign of youkai's. She found what she was looking for. He was up ahead. She was sure that it was Sesshoumaru but how she didn't know how she knew. She picked Shippou up off her shoulder and brought him to her chest. She hugged him and leaned down to whisper in his ear. "Shippou I would like for you to stay close to Miroku and Sango. Now run up to them and no matter what stay away from Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru."

Shippou listened to his mom and when she mentioned Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha together she didn't have to tell him twice. No one wanted to get between them when they were fighting. "What are you going to do okaa-san?"

Kagome looked down at the pup. "What ever I need to do to keep them from fighting. Now go with Miroku and tell him and Sango that Sesshoumaru is up ahead and that I wish for them not to join Inuyasha in fighting him. I am going to try and see if I can get Sesshoumaru to follow me. That way Inuyasha will not have a reason to fight." She set Shippou down and watched him run to the monk and demon slayer. Kagome took the pack off her back and laid it down. Sango would come and pick it up shortly as soon as Shippou relayed her message to them. She saw Shippou reach them and whisper what she had told him to Sango and Miroku. They stopped and glanced at her. She pointed to the pack and Sango nodded. Miroku looked like he wanted to argue with her but she didn't have time let him question her. Inuyasha was busy trying to track down his brother that he didn't even notice when she formed her cloud and took off in the opposite direction.

Sesshoumaru felt a change in the direction of Kagomes travels. He formed his cloud to follow her. He could smell his brother, he was getting close. For some reason Kagome chose to go in another direction than his brother. What is the miko up to now. He followed where he sensed her and it wasn't long before he found her in a small clearing. He started to land but Kagome met him in the air on her cloud.

"Hello Sesshoumaru we need to put a little more distance between us and Inuyasha then we can talk." They took off to the western lands. Kagome still hadn't gotten use to flying using the cloud thing. But it beat running. When Sesshoumaru started to land a little later Kagome knew better than to argue. She could tell by his aura that he was upset about something.

Sesshoumaru landed in the clearing and turned to watch Kagome do the same. When her feet touched the ground he walked up to her. She was staring at him again. "Hello Kagome now would you like to tell me why you went a different direction than my brother?"

"I didn't want to see you all fight today is all. So I hoped that you would follow me instead of Inuyasha. It worked because right now you all are not fighting and I can hopefully get you to answer some questions for me." Now that he was really close she saw the collar around his neck. Oh no he had one too. Maybe he did have something to do with the things.

Sesshoumaru looked at Kagome's neck. He saw the silver collar around her neck. It was like his but more delicate. For some reason it seemed to fit her quite well. Her neck was a little red around the collar. Maybe it was too tight on her but it didn't look like it from where he was standing. "So you have a collar also. Do you have any idea where they came from?"

Kagome heard his question and groaned. So he didn't have anything to do with them. She knew he hadn't but it had been worth a shot. So if he didn't have anything to do with them she didn't know who did. So much for getting it off that easily. "I was hoping that you would know something about it."

"I was patrolling my lands and stopped for a minute then the blasted thing appeared on my neck. The only good thing about this blasted collar is that the barrier someone had put up around my lands disappeared shortly after it appeared." He turned away from her he could sense his brother getting closer.
"Inuyasha will be here shortly."

Kagome stared past Sesshoumaru and could feel Inuyasha getting closer. She put her hands together and started chanting.

Sesshoumaru could hear Kagome chanting but he wasn't sure what the girl was up too. He saw the barrier go up around the clearing then he knew. He turned back to Kagome. "I didn't know you could place barriers."

"I have been practicing with Kaede for the last couple of days. I am getting quite good at it thank you." Kagome looked at her barrier. She just hoped it worked like it was suppose to. After all she was still new at it. "This barrier should keep Inuyasha and everyone else out and they can't see inside it either."

So she is getting stronger. He walked over to her and ran his fingers around her collar. He felt her tense at his touch but then she relaxed. "What happened to your neck. It is red around the collar?"

Kagome had to lean her head back some distance to look into his face. Did he have to be so much taller than her. If she kept this up her neck would get stiff in no time. "Kaede tried using her miko powers to remove the collar and I guess the collar didn't like the idea. It burnt my neck a little. It should heal before long though. It is already much better than it was when she first did it."

"I tried my poison on mine and it had the same effect. Although I have already healed. So neither of us had anything to do with the collars so that leaves your friends the gods." He saw the surprise on her face.

"My friends I don't know how you came to that conclusion. I know that they are the ones to change me into a youkai and the ones that caused you to sleep and train me. But I am not sure that you would call them my friends. Why would they give us collars?" She looked up at his and smiled. "Although I do think you look good in gold." She couldn't resist. "Now all I need is a leash."

He couldn't believe that she just said that. "And what would you do with a leash?"

"Take you for walks of coarse. What else would I do with one?" He was so much fun to tease.

"You would make this Sesshoumaru into a common pet." The girl was definitely brave.

"I know better than to try that. But a girl can dream can't she?" Kagome was trying her best not to laugh but she was afraid it was a battle she would soon loose.

Sesshoumaru saw the laughter in Kagomes eyes. So she was having fun with him. He would turn the tables on her. He leaned down and licked the red areas around the collar. His saliva would help the burns heal faster. He heard her as she gasped when his tongue first touched her neck. He soon had her groaning. He moved her hair out of the way and turned her head to better reach the sides of the collar. When the sides of her neck was done he turned her around and tilted her head so he could reach the back. He wrapped his tail around her waist and brought his arm around her chest just below her breast. He ran his thumb around the bottom of her breast in little circles. When he finished licking her neck he pulled her closer to him. She was moaning now and her heart was beating louder. "Is this how a pet would lick its owner?"

Kagome couldn't answer him if she tried. She was having enough difficulty just trying to remember how to breath. His tongue was driving her crazy. It felt so good.

When she didn't answer he continued licking her neck. He nuzzled her kimono out of the way and found his mark. It was starting to fade. He would have to change that. He placed his mouth over the mark and sucked on it until the mark was renewed. He brought his hand up and caressed her breast through the kimono. He could feel her hardened nipple through the material. He ran his thumb over it. He felt Kagome drop slightly in his arms. He moved his hand to tilt her head back so that he could look into her face and make sure she was ok. Her eyes had glazed over with lust and he could smell the scent of her arousal. He moved his hand back to her breast and used his tail to keep her standing.

Kagome felt her knees go weak as he renewed the mark. She wasn't prepared for the blast of desire that surged through her. If he hadn't been holding her she would have fallen to the ground. She felt him tilt her head back and was surprised to see the lust in his eyes. That didn't help the strength in her legs any or her heart rate. As she felt his hand travel back to her breast she forgot how to breath.

Sesshoumaru turned her around in his arms again and brought his mouth down to hers. He slid his tongue along her lips and when her tongue joined his it was his turn to moan. He ran his tongue inside her mouth and caught the moan coming from her. He had to stop this. He could hear his brother hitting Kagomes barrier. He brought raised his head and held her still. One day soon he was going to mate with her and no one would be around to disturb him. He held her until they both calmed down then when he was sure that Kagome's legs would again hold her he moved away from her.

Why did he stop? She certainly didn't tell him too. Kagome knew she couldn't have. She forgot how to talk. She forgot everything but the feel of him kissing her and touching her. Did he not want her the same way she wanted him. It must be those dreams she has been having lately. Each one getting him deeper and deeper into her thoughts. Yeah that's why she was acting this way. The dreams imprinted him to her body. Ok Kagome that is a sad excuse and you know it. As her blood cooled she sensed the shocks on her barrier. She could feel each blow as Inuyasha struck her barrier.

Sesshoumaru turned and looked at Kagome. He was waiting for her to lower her barrier and she seemed in no hurry to do so. "What are you waiting for?"

Kagome looked from her barrier to Sesshoumaru. "You have to promise not to kill Inuyasha. I will not release the barrier until I have your promise."

"I will not kill Inuyasha today. Will that suffice?" Sesshoumaru watched the smile come back to Kagome's face.

Kagome ran to him and hugged his waist. "Thank you Sesshoumaru. Inuyasha is my friend and although he has no right to be jealous he can't control himself. I have had to put up with his constant fits of jealousy for the last couple of days. You have no idea how many times I have had to sit him lately." Kagome turned and raised her hands. The barrier disappeared.
