A New Path

Ok wow. So in response to a review I’m so sorry! I actually thought that I revealed who Kagome’s father was, but now that I reread it I realized that I didn’t. I must have just thought about who it would be…I’ll definitely reveal it before the Wedding. So here is yet another chapter, my present to you since I’m feeling inspired. Merry Christmas!!

While Sango revealed her secret to Miroku, Kagome and Sesshomaru bid each other fare-well…

Sesshomaru held open the tent flap for Kagome. Normally she would stay in Kaede’s hut, but she wanted another night with Sesshomaru, this time in his bed. She was very nervous, though she knew that they would not have sex, she wanted to experience the sexual feelings more. She sat down on the bed and looked up at him nervously. He removed his armor and went over to her.
“You are very beautiful, my Kagome.” He said, sitting down next to her. She smiled at him and got into his lap, cuddling her head against his chest.
“Thank you Sesshomaru. You are very handsome.” She replied. He smiled at her, and leaned down to kiss her. Kagome closed her eyes and accepted his kiss. It was soft and gentle, and when he swiped her bottom lip with his tongue she opened her mouth for him. He gently played with her tongue. He cuddled her closer and began to rub her back as he kissed her. She put her hands into his hair and intensified the kiss. He moaned into her mouth and moved his hand lower. She moaned and began to feel that same wet warmth she felt when he marked her.
She began squirming against him, and Sesshomaru grew bolder. He slowly slipped his hand from her back to her front. He slowly cupped her breast and began massaging it. Kagome arched into him, pulling her mouth away to catch her breath. He began kissing down her neck, causing her to shiver. A thought suddenly occurred to her and she pulled away.
“Sesshomaru, will your other arm ever grow back? I forgot about it until now…” She asked. It took a moment for him to see through the passionate haze, but he sobered when he realized her question.
“Without aid the arm will regenerate 10 years after the removal.” He said sadly, “There is still quite a bit of time to go.” Kagome thought for a moment. She knew that her Miko powers were not fully under her control, or up to full strength, but the love she felt for Sesshomaru should help.
“Sesshomaru, if I could help your arm grow back faster would you let me try?” She asked.
“Yes, I would like that very, very much.” He replied. Kagome thought for a moment, then reached for his shoulder. She concentrated on all the feelings she had for him, and willed his arm to return. At first nothing happened, then Sesshomaru noticed a glittery light shining around Kagome, and a tingling in his shoulder. He closed his eyes and willed his demon blood to help her. Suddenly he felt tingling in his arm! It worked! Kagome opened her eyes exhausted. She smiled when she saw the arm.
Sesshomaru looked surprised and happy. He flexed his new arm a few times before grabbing her up and holding her with both arms. It felt so much better. He kissed her gently and murmured his thanks and love to her. When he put her down he realized how exhausted she was and let her down. They laid down together, and he pulled up the covers.
“Sleep love, you’ll need your rest for the morning.” He said lovingly.
“Alright. I’m sorry that we had to stop what we were doing, I wanted to experience more of that feeling, and taste you more, but then I thought of the arm.” She apologized.
“It is alright. I may not have been able to stop myself if we kept going, and that would not have been good, only because we are not yet married. I want our mating to be special Kagome.” He replied.
“Oh thank you Sesshomaru, I promise it will be wonderful. Goodnight.” With that she cuddled up against him, using his shoulder as a pillow. He smiled down at her, kissed her forehead and closed his eyes to sleep.


Well there ya go! I know it is short but it is also very late. As for the Sesshomaru arm thing, I actually forgot about his arm, and just realized it in this chapter. I don’t think I have any mention of him having two arms in my earlier chapters, but if I did let me know and I’ll fix it. I just don’t have time to re-read them all on my own if you guys want more chapters. I promise we are getting to the mating soon, and there will be more Sess Kagome action after that. Litara and Inuyasha may see some action after that too, we’ll see. I see this fic being very long, but it will take a very long time to finish. Let me know what you think, MERRY CHRISTMAS.
