A few hours away, in the very town the two odd companions were heading to, a thin, deceivingly strong man was being toss out of a saloon onto his backside. Annoyed at the sudden, though thoroughly deserved, rough treatment, the man picked himself back up and began yelling obscenities at the barkeep who had just thrown him out.

"Of all the rotten, manure infested dives out there, I had to be unlucky enough to enter one that was ran by such an underdeveloped runt. Why, if it was my saloon, I'd burn it to the ground quicker than a fish learns to swim. You can just forget about me paying off that tap, I wouldn't be caught dead back trapped inside that outhouse smelling stack of kindling you call a saloon," the unhappy man called out to him, not at all bothered by the fact that the barkeep had returned inside long before his string of insults had ended.

A moment later, just as he was dusting off his pant legs and wondering where he would spend the rest of the morning if not in the saloon, the doors swung open once more and before he could figure out what was going on, a large bucket of water was poured over his head. In shock from such an action, it took him several moments to realize exactly what had just happened and when he did, he was furious.

Not only had a bucket of cold water been dumped over his head, but he soon realized that this was bath water; dirty bath water. The lousy bore actually had the nerve to do such a thing to him? "I'm mad enough right now to fight a snake and give him the first bite," he explained though it was obvious, by the barkeep once more turning his back and heading inside, that he neither cared about the state of his anger or was afraid of what it might mean for him.

'That crummy son of lame mule will pay for treating me, Renkotsu, Master of the Chinese Black Powder, this way. He will soon rue this day,' Renkotsu vowed silently to himself as he watched the saloon doors swing closed.
