Shippo was livid. Lord Ken was being ludicrous. He wanted Shippo to promise his first born son to Lord Ken’s daughter from a recent mating he had done out of convenience. He would not give up his heir to the Kens. He would offer one of his daughters, but he had already promised the Tashios that one of their own would be with his son when he had a son.

“Lord Shippo, be reasonable. Lord Kouga’s clan does not wish to unite with the fox demons considering you as family already and Lord Sesshoumaru already stated that they may not be having a litter for many years. In order to have equality across the board for all concerned here it is a small request.”

Lord Ken stated as the others also looked to Shippo. It really wasn’t that much to ask and the Tashio’s were not certain that they would have pups again for a while.

“I will consider it.”

Shippo finally stated in defeat. Sesshoumaru looked at the boy knowing that politics were still new to the pup, but he would need to learn this someday.

“Shippo, let us adjourn and we shall return to speak to you Ken in a moment.”

Sesshoumaru stated rather harshly to both. He was tired and wanted this done with so he could get back to his mates.

Shippo followed his mentor to the back of the room.

“Shippo, it would be advantageous of you to take Ken’s offer. I will not sway you, but the Kens, no matter how annoying, are loyal. They will be an asset to the South. I would advise you to take him on his offer it is generous since it is his first born daughter. In turn you can request the same of his heir.”

Shippo nodded. He didn’t want to do this. He wanted to remain loyal to the Tashios.

“What of my daughters?”

Sesshoumaru smirked.

“They will remain in your family. It is tradition. I will however consider at some point if I have another set of pups allowing one of mine to go to your clan. I can only be so generous with you or it will be seen as favoritism and in the world of politics we cannot have this.”

Shippo sighed and nodded.

“Very well Lord Ken. We have an accord. However I have my own demands for this union.”

Lord Ken nodded pleased with the news.

“I wish for your first born son to be mated to one of my daughters.”

At that Lord Ken choked, but Sesshoumaru gave a warning growl. It was more than generous of Shippo to bend, so now it was Ken’s turn.

“Very well.”

Ken stated defeated. He was going to request one of Sesshoumaru’s daughters, but he knew the traditions.

“So, back to the question at hand. You asked me if I am mating three. Indeed this is true.”

Ken and Sesshoumaru both shook their heads. The boy was in for hell.

“We will not stop you, but our advice still stands. Choukichi should be trained at least by females before his decision is set in stone.”

Lin even nodded as Shippo looked frustrated. They were all still treating him like a child.

“I know what I am getting into my Lords.”

Lin pat Shippo on the back with a slight smirk.

“Let us all hope so.”

When Shippo arrived home after much drinking with the Lords and laughing mainly at his expense he smelled something was not right. Walking into his beta’s room he saw his two males panting in passion without him. His eyes burned red in fury as he threw his bottle of sake shattering it against the wall.

Sven was too far gone and Choukichi came deep into his lover before he was tossed off of him.

“Mine!”

Shippo growled as he grabbed Sven by the hair flipping him over and sniffing his body.

Choukichi looked hurt until Sven gave him a wink.

“It is ok. I will take the brunt of his frustration. Now hurry and go Choukichi before he loses control. I promise he will do the same with you so wait in your room.”

“MY BITCH!!!”

Shippo roared as he ripped off his clothes and grabbed Sven’s hair roughly pulling it to the side. He marked him immediately as his eyes glowed in the darkness.

“You whore! How dare you give yourself to him! I will punish you severely!”

Sven sighed as he finally was marked. It felt good.

“I was only teaching Choukichi so he could please you my Lord.”

Shippo frowned as his eyes still glowed.

“My position not yours! I will teach you your place!”

At that Sven was placed over Shippo’s knee and spanked rather severely. Sven wasn’t expecting that as he yelped in surprise.

“My Lord?”

Sven whimpered.

“How dare you give him what was mine to take! You both will be punished. You will be marked and he will suffer! I am sending him to the trainers! You had no right to do this Sven!”

Sven sobbed.

“I was only doing what I thought was best my Lord.”

Shippo continued to spank Sven until his hand hurt. Turning his mate around he held him by his throat and pushed him down upon the bed.

“You are only mine to touch from now on. I will not have another in our bed when I come for you is that understood?”

Sven nodded as tears continued to cascade down his cheeks.

Shippo then kissed Sven with so much passion it caught his true love off guard.

“I love you too much Sven. I would only take you as my mate if I had a choice, but I cannot bring myself to hurt the other two we are intended to be with. Someday I will set Fuu free and Choukichi. You are special to me Sven. You hurt me this night. You have betrayed me and you will pay for this I promise you no matter how much I love you.”

Sven nodded now understanding. He didn’t know that he was going to be Shippo’s only true mate. He wasn’t worthy of the position, but he would take it if Shippo was this adamant about it. He truly just wanted the best for Shippo even if he had to make sacrifices to do it.

“I am sorry my Lord……….”

Shippo hushed his beloved as he stroked his hair.

“No one touches you but me. Do you understand me? I swear I will kill even my other mates if they touch you.”

Sven nodded as Shippo caressed his cheek and kissed away the tears.

“Now go bathe. I want his stench off of you.”

Sven got up as Shippo left the room to go deal with Choukichi. This was the last time his cousin surprised him for the rest of his life.
