Celina leaned against the wall for support. Mya had done a great job protecting them, but she was starting to be over powered. Just where in the hell did they keep coming from, Celina thought, as she pushed off the wall claws flying, taking whatever hit she could on her relentless opponents. She would not die this way!
“Do not kill the girl!” one of the solider hissed, as a blade came into contact with Celina’s left leg, effectively slicing thru the skin. Celina let out a whimper of pain, as she felt the blood slide down her leg as the blade left her skin.
“I refuse to die like this!” she growled, clawing the demon who cut her. Her claws sliced down the front of his face, and he dropped he sword and clutched his face, screaming in pain. A guard came behind her, and held her arms back, a blade pressed against her neck.
“Submit girly,” the guard ordered, as he applied more pressure against her throat with the sword. Tears in her eyes, Celina look towards Mya, who was helping free Kagome from two guards. No one would help her get out of this one, she thought mournfully.
“Get off her!” Koga roared as he fought his way towards her, the room becoming crowded with more soldiers. Picking up a fallen sword, he sliced his way to Celina, and slammed his fist into the soldier’s eye.
“Watch out,” Celina gasped, as she fell to her knees, starving for air. Another soldier had a sword ready to strike the back of Koga. Koga turned quickly and slammed his blade into his gut.
“Come on,” Koga growled, as he pulled Celina to her feet. “I’m getting you and Kagome out of here! Mya!”
“Yes Lord Koga,” she said, while she knocked the teeth out of a guard standing in front of her. Kagome was behind her, a bloody sword in hand, she was covered in wounds. Shippo was on her shoulder, hiding his head in her hair.
“Cover us,” he ordered, pulling Kagome to her feet. “I’m getting these to away from the palace.”
“Yes Lord Koga,” Mya replied, preparing to cover their hasty retreat. Koga threw Celina onto his back, and picked up Kagome, and ran as fast as he could, leaving a trail of dust behind him as he headed towards the back gates. Ginta and Hakkaku were awaiting his arrival.
“Get them as far as possible,” Koga growled, as he handed Kagome over to Ginta, and was trying to hand over Celina to Hakkaku.
“I can’t abandon the Western Palace,” Celina cried, as she grabbed his arm. “Father would kill me for running when I could defend it!”
“And if you die your father would kill me,” he growled, as he grabbed her by the shoulders, and shook her a little. “He entrusted your life with me. I won’t fail him, you will be safe. If the palace falls it falls, but we are going to give them one hell of a fight.”
“You realize you are asking me to abandon my home,” she shot back at him.
“I’m asking you to live,” he growled, as he pressed his lips to her. The other four stared in shock at the action, and Koga released her to run back into the palace. Hakkaku grabbed the stunned Celina and threw her over his shoulder as they abandon the palace.

“We need a plan of action,” Ash hissed as they were approaching the warehouse. “Storming in would be suicide! I’m sure they know we are on the way! Is anyone listening??”
“No,” the three males growled at once. The warehouse door was in sight, and Tasshomaru was kicking in the side door, when Ash pushed him out of the way. The door flew open and an arrow was lodge into Ash’s chest. Gasping for air she fell to the ground.
“Sending the woman first,” Miska laughed darkly as she walked out the door, the three went to charge her. “I wouldn’t do that!”
“Why not?” Sesshomaru growled lowly, as they all stopped in their tracks. She snapped her fingers and they were surrounded, but that wasn’t his may focus. His main focus was the woman wrapped in chains being drugged out behind Miska.
“Because I have the upper hand! Because I have your mate! Because all the cards are in my hands,” she replied laughing, an evil glint in her eyes. “And soon I will have your daughter and the priestess. My mate, Haimara, should be laying to waste your palace. You of the Western lands will have nothing left!”
“You talk far too much,” Ash said as she thrust the arrow that pierced her own body moments ago into Miska’s stomach. “You started this war, and we are going to finish it!”
“Bitch!” Miska coughed, as she scratched Ash’s face. “Why are you all standing there! Attack!!!”
The demonesses started to attack the three Inu Demons, they far out numbered them, but the pissed off demon lord would have nothing short of victory. Sesshomaru had slaughter at least twenty demonesses in the first minuets of battle with Toukijin. Tasshomaru and InuYasha were slaying demonesses at a little of a slower pace, but Miska knew her numbers were falling fast.
Pulling the arrow from her gut, she found herself being thrown back by a burning triangle of fire. The two demonesses guarding Taijina had pulled her back into the warehouse, where they abandoned her and made a run for it. Covered from the neck down in chains, Taijina struggled to loosen them, as Miska tripped over her chained body.
“Seems the tide has changed,” Taijina smirked. “My son and mate are out there slaughtering you demonesses, well at least the ones foolish enough to stay. Face it you’ve lost.”
“But who is going to save your precious daughter,” Miska growled, as she crawled to the wall. Using the wall as leverage to pull herself up, she glared at the other two. Ash had already released Taijina, and she was heading over towards Miska, straightening her ruined outfit.
“You forget Koga and his wolves are there,” Taijina sniffed, looking down at her. She had enough of this pathetic demoness who had interfered with her life long enough. “Let’s not forget the Western soldiers, and of course Mya. Did I forget to mention that Mya has been disguised as my personal servant when is reality she is my personal body guard. A most sought after assassin before Lord Inu Tashio employed her to protect me. If you don’t know what you are truly up against you are going to fail.”
Lifting Miska up off the ground by her neck, Taijina let an evil grin slip over her lips, one fang peaking out. It was time this was over. Lifting her other claw into the air, she prepared to strike.
“She is mine to kill,” Sesshomaru growled as he entered the room. Ash slinked towards the door, closing it behind her as she exited.
“As you wish my Lord,” Taijina replied, as she tossed Miska at his feet.
“On your knees,” Sesshomaru ordered. Miska followed, her head held high, her eyes glared at him screaming defiance. With one swift motion her head rolled away from her body on the floor. Sheathing his sword, his eyes met the angry eyes of his mate.
