Chapter Twenty-Two

Kouga had checked all over the mountain asking everyone even Ginta if they had seen Kimi but no one had seen her. He didn't feel right asking Kagome where her daughter was. Gercha had made mention of seeing the two girls walk off a few hours ago. No one had seen them since. He reached the trail and caught the scent of her and her sister and followed it into the valley. At the valley her sister scent disappeared and her's trailed off into the woods further away. He started to panick and wondered what would have seperated the two. He followed her into the woods shouting her name. No one answered him which caused fear to shoot through his heart. He heard her moan from his left and he sprinted.

He jumped straight in front of her causing her to jump. "Dammit, are you trying to give me a fucking heart attack?" She placed her hand over her chest. Her pulse was racing so hard it was thumping in her ears. The last thing she expected had been him. "What are you doing out here?"

"Where have you been? You should know better than coming out here by yourself." He grabbed her arm yanking her close. "Think of how Kagome would feel if anything happened to you."

For a minute she had hoped he was worried about her. 'Should have known he wasn't worried about me.' She tried to pull away from him. "Get you hands off me. Its none of your business what I do. I am not your concern so leave me alone."

"Thats where you are wrong," he pulled her close and brought his mouth down. He felt her try to push him away but held on and forced his tongue inside her mouth.

She thought about biting him for a split second, then that eletric shock went down her spine causing her to gasp. All thoughts of fighting left her as she returned the kiss. He spun her around so her back was pressed against his chest. She sought his lips out grabbing the back of his neck turning her head to the side. His hands made their way down her body cupping her breasts. They stood there for several minutes before he reached down and slid his hands in her sweats. He quickly found the seams of her panties and slid his hand inside cupping her pulling her against his erection. Taking under a minute he bent down and removed her shoes, sweats and panties. Returning to his position behind her, he began to stroke her tiny jewel causing her arousal to sore to new heights. He slid two fingers inside stretching her, "Should I show you how a wolf fucks?" She found herself on her knees and him still behind her. Positioning himself behind her, he used his strength to push her forward on all fours. A growl passed his lips as he felt himself slide even deeper inside her. He could feel her walls begining to tighten around him and his demon took over. He lost all control, she felt the air around her change and groaned when he started slamming into her hard enough to cause her to rock forward. She would have fell on her face if he hadn't caught her around the waist. Her orgasm rocked her to the soul as she screamed his name. His eyes turned red and his claws grew as he poured his seed in her womb.

Sesshomaru landed outside the cave and put his new mate down. Kagome ran out glad to see the two. "Where have you been? Where is your sister? Look at you, what were you doing?" Michiko's face turned red not sure how to answer either question. She'd assumed her sister had returned to the den.

"She's been out fucking my brother, thats what." Inuyasha stepped out. He smelled the scent of sex along with their scent. He searched the girl and his jaw hit the ground. "HA HA HA unbelievable, I'll be a monkey's uncle Mr. High and Mighty took a human mate."

"You will be dead if you don't cease your laughter." Sesshomaru had expected this. But no one would question his decisions. "I will go fetch the other girl."

Kagome pulled her daughter into Kouga's den demanding some answer and to have a good heart to heart talk with her oldest daughter.

Sesshomaru made his way down the mountain, he knew he wouldn't have to go far to fetch the other one. He could smell the wolf returning with the girl. He met them at the bottom of the mountain. As he'd thought the stupid wolf had been out rutting with the girl and once again he had failed to mark her. The wolf stopped in front of him. "What do you want?"

"Kagome sent me to fetch her daughter. Hand her over to this Sesshomaru." He heard the growl that escaped the wolf. The sleeping girl didn't stir and he could smell a small trace of her blood. He knew she hadn't been a virgin so the only cause for the scent would be the wolf had lost control. "Foolish, for one so against claiming her, you should have known better than to bed her while she was fertile. Hand her over so I may take her to the other female wolf, I doubt you want your Kagome seeing the state in which you have left her daughter in." He grabbed the girl not leaving room for arguement and turned his back to the wolf.

"Shut up, what do you know. You stink like her sister."

"That is the difference between you and I, this Sesshomaru is man enough to claim what is his." He left him standing there and made his way to Gercha's cave. He walked in without announcing himself and caused a stir. Gercha ran over when she saw her friend lying in his arms. "What has he done to her?"

Sesshomaru spoke to them for a few minutes explaining that the girl was to stay here for the night. "It is best for everyone if Lady Kagome doesn't see her like this."

"Yes, I'm sure Kimi will be fine by morning. Place her over there and I'll get her cleaned up so she can get some rest. Please tell her mother that she fell asleep over here talking and I have no wish to wake her."Gercha thanked him.

"Very well." He left to inform them of the girl's sleeping arrangements.

The next morning Kimi awoke feeling sore. 'Great, who let the mac truck drive over me last night.' She tried to move her legs and they screamed in pain. Her ass and thighs were sporting several bruises. What hurt most was her private area, damn thing felt like it was on fire. She hadn't realised how rough he was getting until it had been too late. She turned to see that his eyes had changed and he looked different. Fear had replaced her excitement but he hadn't stopped. She remembered passing out, but didn't know if it had been from the pleasure or the pain. Gercha's bright smile greeted her, "Morning, my lady. How are you feeling?"

"Does anyone know?"

"Ummm, I'm not too sure what happened my lady. It was Lord Sesshomaru that brought you to me. Don't worry your mother and sister don't know. I cleaned you up and told him to inform everyone else that you'd fallen asleep already."

"Thank you," tears slid down her face. She had feared that they would know upon waking. "Are we still leaving this morning?"

"Yes, but theres something you should know dear. I believe Kouga will be going with your group." She wasn't sure how the girl would react to the news..

'Of course he is. He isn't going to pass up the chance to spend more time with my mother.' She sighed. "Can you go tell my mom I have a slight headache and ask her to give you something for the pain?" Once alone she sat up grimacing when her bruises protested. Gercha came back a few minutes later not only with the tylenol but with her bag. She almost shouted in joy, screw the tylenol she had some extra strength midol in there. Two of those babies and she'd be feeling good in no time. She got dressed and popped her pills. She hugged her friend thanking her for everything.

"I have a feeling you will be back with us dear." Gercha hugged and wished her well.

"I'll try to send you an email, promise."


Everyone was standing around waiting on her as she made her way down the mountain the process was slow. Socks bound up beside her, there was no way she'd be leaving him here. "Hey boy, ready to head out?" A wagging tail was her answer. A smile split her lips at how silly he looked. The first thing she noticed was Michiko was blushing from head to toe and Sesshomaru was standing awfully close. She pulled up short, "Did I miss something?"

"Hi sis, nope. Everything is fine."

"Then why are you redder than a pad riding the crimson wave?" Kagome gasped at her daughter's detailed description. The men had no idea what she was talking about so took no offense.

"Your sister mated with my brother. I don't see what the big deal is." He grabbed Kagome pulling her on his back."Kouga, since you are coming do you mind giving Kimi a ride since Sesshomaru already has Mich?"

"Why don't you let me carry Kagome and you can carry Kimi," He said it to get a rile out of the stupid hanyou not meaning it. He had every intention of carrying the woman he was considering making his own.

The two started in on each other, insults started flying. Kimi felt like she'd been punched in the chest at the comment. They were only words but caused tears to form. 'If he doesn't want to carry me fine. I have Pat and Charlie.' She started off on her own with Socks trailing behind her.

Everyone stopped as she swept past and walked the rest of the way down the mountain. She had her head held high as she walked. Sesshomaru had to admit the girl had gumption. He saw the wolf run down after her trying to catch up. Kouga reached her at the bottom, "Get on." He reached his arm out to touch her.

"Touch me with that hand and I swear I'll ram it down your throat." Her aura flared and he took a step back.

"Fine but how do you plan on keeping up?" Kouga shouted back. He hadn't meant what he said why the hell was she in such a bitchy mood.

Socks nudged his head between her legs trying to pry them open. She smirked, "I think I've just been offered a ride." She handed him her bag. "Here make yourself useful." She wasn't sure if he could hold her weight but it shouldn't have been suprised when he not only held her weight but showed no sides that he felt her.

"Don't tell me you are going to ride that mangy wolf." Inuyasha stopped beside them.

"Actually no. Socks has offered me a ride so I'm going to take him up on his offer." She felt him bolt and held on to his fur.

Sesshomaru heard Inuyasha's comment and the girl's. He couldn't stop the laughter that erupted from his chest. She'd just put the leader of the wolf tribe in his place. That stopped everyone in their tracks. Only one word escaped Kagome, "Scary."

Two hours had passed since they'd began their journey and Kimi was already getting tired. The midol had kicked in about an hour ago and she was fighting sleep. She wasn't in pain but was on the verge of falling off her faithful steed. Kouga and Sesshomaru had taken the lead leaving Inuyasha and Socks to bring up the rear.

What Inuyasha had said played out in Kimi's mind. Her sister was now mated with Sesshomaru, he had chosen her to spend his life with. It kind of struck her as weird, if her memory served her right. Wasn't he the same guy that didn't care for humans. But watching them as they ran along most would see a demon holding a human girl. You had to look closer to see the way his hand held her possessively, almost gentle. Not that she could blame the once cold demon lord. Michiko was the type of person that drew men like a moth to the flame. She had a sunny disposition most of the time. Was quick to smile and beautiful to boot. She wasn't someone's copy or replacement. She almost wished she could be jealous but the feeling never came. The two people she cared about most would end up happy and for that she was glad. Though she'd be damned if she let Michiko off that easy, later when they were alone she wanted all the juicy details. Inuyasha sprinted ahead of her catching up to Sesshomaru asking him something, what she couldn't hear. Her eyes began to get heavy. What the hell was wrong with her? She'd taken two midols before and true it had made her sleepy but never like this. She felt a warm sensation crawl along her skin and closed her eyes. Just a quick nap and she'd feel better.

Inuyasha was asking Sesshomaru about Jaken's whereabouts. The imp had went with Myouga to find out any information they could about Kuroyama. A low growl stopped them and they turned to find Socks stopped and Kimi asleep on his back. They scanned the area but couldn't find anything to cause the wolf's distress. He started moving in circles growling at himself.

Inuyasha yelled at him, "Come on dammit this isn't the time to chase your tail."

"Silence," Sesshomaru stepped towards the wolf. He wasn't growling at himself but something they couldn't see or sense yet. He started snapping at his own fur causing the other to become alert. "He sees something we don't. Kouga get the girl."

Kouga ran over and picked her up placing her in his arms. The wolf's attention then spun on him, his fur stood on end and his teeth started to show. "What the hell is wrong with him."

Sesshomaru placed his mate on the ground to stand next to her mother, "Stand back, we cannot see what it is in our current state."

Michiko watched as her so called mate's eyes began to bleed red and his face started to change. Within seconds a huge white dog stood where her man had been. She squeeled and hid behind Inuyasha.

He smirked, "What's that matter don't tell me you are scared of your own mate."

"Shut up how did I know he'd be so damn big." Michiko watched as he slowly took in his surroundings.

Sesshomaru changed and spotted the problem as soon as he did. Hovering above the girl was a pixie, she had obviously used some kind of magic to hide her presence from them as she worked some kind of spell on the girl.

Linaya had been sent by her master to try to get the girl to sleep so he could once again invade her dreams. This time she was to get to the girl in person to have better control. She hadn't counted on there being an animal with them, he had seen her the minute she started working her magic. Putting the girl to sleep had been easy, her body was already exhausted. Within seconds she had fallen asleep but that damn wolf was ruining it. She was still trying to work when she heard another growl behind her. The dog demon had transformed and now saw her. She hissed at him, 'Dammit, she wouldn't be able to do it. She wasn't going to sit here and become lunch for the great lord.'

Everyone watched as Sesshomaru leapt forward. He was snapping at something, he took off sprinting into the woods. As soon as he left Socks stopped growling. Whatever had been there was now gone. Moments later he returned in his human form.

"Come, we head out." He picked his mate back up. "Keep the wolf close."

"Wait a damn minute what the hell were you snapping at and don't tell me it was a flea." Inuyasha glared at his brother.

"For those that need to know," he meant the comment to be directed at Kouga. "A pixie of some sort, with magic strong enough to hide her presence not only from the humans but us demons as well. The only thing it hadn't seemed to affect was the animal. I wasn't able to catch her." He walked past the wolf demon and spoke only loud enough for him to hear, "Keep her even closer."
