Gaining trust of Kikyo and Kagura and first time ever Kanna smiling

Kanna woke up early the morning still surprised that she slept so soundly with two men across from her. Never since her creation had she never once slept so good. Even before Naraku had suddenly decide to release her and Kagura and even gave them their hearts without killing them or letting them get killed she never slept before. She only had rest for two or three hours a month for her regain strength and only eat small amount of food for her keep her powers focused on mirror only. She looked down at basket of fruit that sat next to fire slowly going out. She wasn't accustomed to fresh food being their when she woke up since Naraku's mansion was filled his miasma killing everything that wasn't made by him. She went stiff when she felt two men in cave looking at her.

Ginta and Hakkaku slowly woke up feeling warm sun on them. They looked at girls seeing them fast asleep but as they looked over where Kanna was fast sleep to find her very wake staring at them with black eyes. Ginta stared deep into them noticing something for first time about her eyes. They weren't completely black; he could see a speck of red coming into mix of her eye. Hakkaku jabbed him side with his elbow.

“Stop staring at her idiot, you’re making her uncomfortable.” Hakkaku said softly yet harshly.

Ginta just elbow him back not saying thing just continued to stare into Kanna's eyes. Hakkaku just growled and tackled him causing Ginta attack back. Kanna watched them fight. She couldn't understand them since all it was growls and snarls. But what she didn't know that small ghostly smile formed, but it went unnoticed by two fighting wolves.

Kikyo was slowly waking up because the sound of those two fighting keeping her from more sleep. Sitting up slowly she looked around ignoring those two idiots until she saw Kanna wide wake and smiling. Kikyo froze at that. Kanna was smiling. Never before seeing the little void demon girl smile she started to shake Kagura wake. Soon Kagura was waking up bit confused when she saw they were in cave with two guys but Kikyo was making her focus on Kanna was smiling for first time ever. Kagura looked over what Kanna was staring, before grabbing Kanna hugging her to her chest light ears going down her face.

Ginta and Hakkaku looked over at three and slowly went to them. Kanna just looked up at her blankly wondering what’s was matter with her.

“Hey why are you crying Kagura?” Ginta asked softly.

Wiping her face she looked up at the two giving them small smile. “Kanna was smiling for first time because of you two.”

Ginta and Hakkaku eyes widen in surprise before looking down at Kanna who was very confused. Kagura looked over at Kikyo who simply nod while Kanna got out of Kagura grasp and picked up an apple.

“We decided to trust you two since you both saved us from being found by Naraku and you made Kanna smile but be warned do anything we don't like and will face our wrath.” Kikyo said calmly

Ginta and Hakkaku nod before grinning. “You two don't have worry about Naraku ever again because Naraku had gotten himself captured by a neko and now her personal toy.” said Hakkaku

This made Kikyo and Kagura break out in laughter while Kanna just smiled once again. Ginta gently petted Kanna's head before speaking softly to her. “You may not know this Kanna but your eyes are finally gaining some color.” he said softly

Kagura stopped laughing at this and looked at him. “What color in her eyes?” she demanded.

Ginta gave her a sheepish look rubbing his hair. “Well I was looking into her eyes I saw faint traces of red coming in. But I had look really carefully to notice It.” he said

Kagura nodded and resumed her laughter while Kanna continued her apple happily knowing she was feeling emotions and other things were happening to her in a good way. Kagura wanted asked about their leader Koga but she figured it would be while before they met up with him since Koga liked running further head then two men. Looking over at happy Kanna and more relaxed Kikyo, she thought perhaps this rearrangement will work out in more ones then one. But for now she was just going laugh at Naraku's misfortune and wonder what kind of neko got him.
