Two weeks had gone by since the ceremony, they where settled into the house hadn’t quite started on the nursery yet. Sesshomaru had gone back to work and things where settling down in the media about their marriage. Sesshomaru was in the study down stairs grading some test, he looked at the clock seeing it was pretty late and figures Anaminé was already asleep and he should head that way as well. He stood up and headed upstairs to the mast bed room. When he opened the door her found Anaminé sleep with her head resting on her arm as it lay on the desk with three of her school books open and paper all over the desk. He couldn’t help but smile she was working so hard to get all of her work done so she wasn’t held back; he was surprised that she had actually caught up in her classes after being gone for almost half the school year. He picked her up and carried her over to bed laying her down then covering her up kissing her forehead as he went on to get himself ready for bed. He was going to be late for work the next morning due to her ultra sound appointment.
Sesshomaru woke up the next morning to the sound of the shower running. She pulled himself out of bed and walked into the bathroom and grins seeing his mate in the shower. He loved her body especially now as her stomach had become a small little pooch telling him that she was carrying his pups. He began to take his cloths off and slipped into the shower behind her. Her wrapped his arms around here placing his hands on her small round belly and kissed the mark that showed she was mated. She smiled to herself and placed her hands on top of Sesshomaru’s.
“I didn’t wake you did I?” She asked softly
“No how are you feeling this morning” Sesshomaru asked
“Tired, I was hoping a shower would wake me up” Anaminé said
“Well after the appointment you can take a nap” Sesshomaru said
“No I got school work I got to do” Anaminé said
Few hours later Anaminé and Sesshomaru where sitting her doctors office waiting for him to come into the room. Anaminé was resting her eyes as they waited Sesshomaru had a few papers in his lap that he was grading. Anaminé opened her eyes only when she heard the door open; she stretched some and gave a small smile.
“Hello and how are all of you?” Dr. Ibi asked
“We are fine” Sesshomaru answered
“I here congratulations are in order considering you new years mateing ceremony” Dr. Ibi said
Anaminé gave him a questioning look that earned her a chuckle “Every demon in Japan knows of the mateing ceremony of the western lands prince to one of the best generals of the west only daughter”
Anaminé blushed some she probably should of expected that considering who Sesshomaru was.
“How has everything been going with the Pregnancy?” Dr. Ibi asked as he sat down next to her as he turned on the Sonogram machine.
“Pretty good been really tired between the last visit and this one we’ve moved, celebrated Christmas and planed and had our mateing ceremony. Sesshomaru was very persistent on making sure I took some time to rest every so often during the day” Anaminé said giving Sesshomaru a smile
“Good man I have a feeling she would work herself to the bone if someone let her” Dr. Ibi said with a smile
Sesshomaru simply nodded.
“So why don’t we see what we have cookin’ huh?”
Anaminé pulled up her shirt as the doctor squirted some gel on her small round belly. He then took the wand and moved it around.
“Ok let see….Well baby number one is….looks like it’s a boy” He said with a smile
Sesshomaru smirked and sat up taller as if he had just gotten a pat on the back for a good job well done.
“Then Baby number two is a little girl….along with baby number three” Dr. Ibi said as he took moved the wand around more.
“They look to be right on course perfectly healthy so its two months down 4 more to go. Starting from here on out I want you to really watch your diet make sure you getting all the nurturance you need its okay to indulge yourself ever once in awhile but not all the time, their growth will start to speed up from here on out as well so don’t get worried if you think you getting bigger to fast I assure you its perfectly normal.” Dr. Ibi told them as he wiped the gel off her belly and aloud her to sit up.
“Is there any questions?” Dr. Ibi asked
“It is tradition that the pups of the lord and lady of the western land have their pups born in the palace, will you be able to be there if not believe me we will have no trouble finding another doctor” Sesshomaru said in a way telling him there was no discussing the matter.
“well my personally opinion as a doctor I would tell you not to do that, With her carrying triplets as with any multiples there is a chance of early delivery. Ill probably be putting her on bed rest and some point in the pregnancy to prevent early labor. Once she goes into labor its really going to wear on her body and could mean we might have to actually go in and get the other baby or babies. So I would advise you not to do it there but to stay here. You talk amongst yourself and family befor the next visit and if you are still persistent on having the babies delivered at the palace I will see what I can do” Dr. Ibi said
“How likely is the chance of her delivering early?” Sesshomaru asked. The fact that the doctor mentioned that the pups could be early made him uneasy.
“Well with her small frame and how many she is carrying I would say seventy-five percent chance she will deliver early…” Dr Ibi answered
“But its my job to make sure we get you to as close to your due date as we can if you are willing to work with my and do what I say with no arguments we should be able to get you to a month befor your actual delivery date.” Dr. Ibi said seeing the worry in Anaminé’s eyes.
Sesshomaru nodded “We will take what you have said think about it and talk it over.”
Dr. Ibi nodded and stood up with a smile.
“Stop by the front and tell the nurse you need a appointment in 3 weeks.” Dr. Ibi said
Anaminé nodded.
Anaminé sat on the couch in the empty house with some of her books in front of her on the coffee table. She was in a long sleeved form fitting stretchy tunic v necked shirt and a pair of jeans. It showed off her early pregnancy belly which didn’t go unnoticed when she wore form fitting cloths. Her long silver hair was up in clip it gave her this relaxed messy look. She looked over at the door when the door bell sounded. She put her pencil behind her ear as she got up and walked over to the door. She looked out the peep hole and saw Suikotsu and Jakotsu. She smiled unlocking the door letting in her friends. She stepped aside ushering them in.
“What are you two doing here shouldn’t you have work?” Anaminé asked
“I have the day off” Suikotsu said with a smile.
“And when I found out he had a day off I decided id take one too.” Jakotsu said.
“Okay but I’m sure there are other things you could be doing with you time.” Anaminé said
Jakotsu looked into the living room seeing the books laid out.
“Well consider this a rescue mission from the dreaded monster called school work.” Jakotsu said with a smile.
Anaminé laughed some.
“Well I cant allow that to happen graduation is just a four months away, and I found out ill go on bed rest at some time between now and my delivery and me and Sesshomaru still need to get the nursery together and I have to make sure I have my work done befor the babies come if not I’m not going to be able to do any work after they do.” Anaminé said closing the door and going back to the couch.
Suikotsu and Jakotsu came into the living room sitting on a love seat.
“Yes but stressing yourself out will just put yourself at a high risk of early labor” Suikotsu said
“Thank you for the bulletin Mr. Dr.” Anaminé said looking at him as she leaned back on the couch crossing her arms.
“And I’m going to guess your going to say I should wait untill next year to graduate?” Anaminé said raising an eye brow.
“That or take summer classes” Suikotsu said
“Suikotsu I love you to death but come on this is me we are talking about for me to wait another year would just give so many people gratification, they would think they where right all along in everything they said to me but with me now married and pregnant after being kidnapped and almost beaten to death to catch up with the other kids and still be able to graduate would be like a giant slap in the face to all of them.” Anaminé said crossing her arms
“I know how much you have fought to prove yourself Anaminé me and Jakotsu have watched all of you grow up out of everyone in the group you have been the one who has had to fight the most to live up to your name. But you don’t have to fight anymore you have a family friends that all love you and support you and know the truth and nothing else should matter” Suikotsu said leaning over resting his elbows on his knees.
Anaminé sighed resting her head back looking up at the ceiling “I still have to fight though you guys, but now I have to fight to protect Sesshomaru’s name, thanks to the wonderful world of TV everyone knows what happened and how I’m with Sesshomaru and I was a student at the school. I’ve been made out as a weak money grubber”
“okay I think that’s enough of this sort of talk its not good for her or the babies, so why don’t you just take a small little break lady bug and ill whip up all three of us some lunch and you can tell us what other baby news you have to offer. I wanna know all about my nieces or nephews” Jakotsu said with a smile
“Its nieces and nephew” Anaminé corrected her friend
The two men smiled and Jakotsu clapped his hands and bounced up.
“Wonderful news now for some food I shall return in a few minutes.” Jakotsu said then turned to his brother.
“And no more depressing subject you being a doctor should know better” Jakotsu said befor walking off.
