Finding a way

A/N: Thunder storms are the best! We just had a thunder storm last night, and there is something about walking in the rain, lighting, and thunder, with your Ipod blaring that gives you that creative spark. I know I’m insane, but eh it happens. Thank you for the reviews notgoingtowrite, WTW, and KooKooKitty. As for my plot, my characters somehow take it and run with it and turn it their way. Only half of this was in the original design plot, the other half got blown away. Welp, enjoy!

“So you really hopped back and forth across time in a well because your cat ran into the well house?” Celina gaped at Kagome after making Kagome tell her tale. It had been at least two hours since her father, uncle, and brother had left, and Koga refused to let her, Kagome, and Shippo out of the room and his sights.

“Well that is how I found out the well held powers,” Kagome replied. “The only reason I kept going back through the well was InuYasha, that and it was my fault the jewel was shattered.”

“So you traveled through the Well of Ages just for love and duty,” Celina sighed, when she noticed Koga grow rigid against the door. “What’s wrong, Koga?”

“Stay here,” Koga ordered as he headed down the hall. Celina went to go and question him, and she was assaulted with the stench of blood as she neared the door. “Koga?”

Slowly poking her head out the doorway, she had to quickly pull her head back in as Koga’s prone body flying down the hallway. Her heart started racing as she shut the door and threw her chair against the closed door. Going towards the wall where two swords hung crossed, she took them down and handed one to Kagome.

“I’m not sure if you know how to use one of these,” Celina stated as she gripped the sword in her hands. “But now is a great time to learn.”

“Do we know what is going on out there?” Kagome asked, as she push Shippo behind her, and stared nervously at the door.

“Well Koga’s body just flew down the hall, and I’m sure as hell it wasn’t consensual neither,” Celina replied, as the door was busted down and the chair smashed into the wall. Three male demons entered the room, all wearing dark blue outfits of the Southern Lord’s personal guards. “I knew your master was out to get revenge for his father!”

“Kill the kit, and take the females as prisoners,” one of them ordered.

“You’ll have to get through us to even lay a finger on the kit,” Celina growled, as her and Kagome waited for the three to charge at them. The three guards glanced at each other quickly, before charging at them. One went right for Kagome, while the other two headed straight for Celina, who quickly blocked them.

“Your skills are pathetic,” one of the guards ground as he knocked Celina into a bookshelf, and pinned her by the throat against the wall and broken shelving. The other guard went to grab Shippo, but was deflected by Shippo’s foxfire. Shippo ran from the room in hopes of finding Koga. Celina saw Shippo leave, and kneed the guard, who had pinned her against the broken bookshelf, in the groin. Hopping over him, Celina tackled the other guard, who Shippo had burned, to the ground. Celina and the guard exchanged blows, before he was ripped off of her by Mya.

“Anyone foolish enough to attack a member of the House of Inu shall perish!” Mya growled as she slammed her kendo stick across the guard’s, effectively breaking his jaw. “Prepare to die!”

Ash leaned against the wall of an alley, as another demon was tossed from inside the bar out into the alley. Sighing, she watched the demon scamper away as Tasshomaru emerged from the darken doorway.

“This is the fifth demon bar, and no new leads,” Ash stated, and Tasshomaru let out a low growl, as InuYasha and Sesshomaru joined them. “Beating information from lowly demons isn’t working, can we do this my way now?”

“No,” Sesshomaru growled, as he headed towards his next destination. Instead of asking for help when they found the demonesses were not at their original headquarters, Sesshomaru started to seek out any low life demon who might know anything about them. So far he came up empty. “I can find her on my own!”

“I know you are capable of finding her,” Ash sighed, as she kicked off the wall to follow them. “But time is not on your side this time. I don’t care if you swore never to enter that place again, but the he can tell you where she is. You aren’t the only one who gives a damn about her!”

“Silence!” he roared. Looking towards InuYasha and Tasshomaru he decided to concede to Ash, in his own way. “This Sesshomaru will not turn away your counseling, however, I will not join you. Find me when you get an answer, I’ll still be looking for my own. Tasshomaru come with me, InuYasha you shall go with Ash.”

“I swear, sometimes I just want to slap that arrogant dog,” Ash huffed as she walked the opposite direction of Sesshomaru. InuYasha followed her, letting a small chuckle pass his lips.

“Trust me you aren’t the only one,” InuYasha replied, as they turned left and headed towards a shady part of the town they where in. “Taijina is the only one who can get away with it though.”

“I feel sorry for her,” Ash laughed, as she headed down an alleyway. “Imagine having to deal with him not only during the day, but in bed at night.”

“Why do you think she has her own room,” InuYasha snorted, as they stopped in front of a rusty steel door. Ash tapped on the door, and a slit slide open, and two eyes peered at them thru the opening.

“Business?” a dark cold male voice behind the door asked.

“Oak knock it off,” Ash huffed.

“Do I know you?” the voice asked her.

“Oak,” Ash growled. “It’s me Ash and if you don’t open the door now I’m going to have to neuter you.”

“You wouldn’t dare,” the voice squeaked. Ash shot the eyes a glare, and the door was quickly unlocked.

“Come on InuYasha,” Ash ordered, walking past a man with bright green hair, cowering behind the door. The door snapped shut behind them, and they were surrounded in darkness, except for candles glowing around a single black cloaked figure sitting on the floor in the middle of the room.

“I see you have returned Ash,” came an ancient male voice from beyond the hood of the cape. “Leo is still in Africa looking for clues to your whereabouts, but it is not his location you seek. You have befriended a demoness, who has been misguided by her heart for a long time. Twisted is her thinking when it comes to the one she loves. You will find her at a dock bordering the Western and Northern lands, far from the Eastern lands. Once used for shipping meat products to the Northern lands, the side of the building is a picture of a cow. It has not been used in several years. Take heed, as it is a trap to make her suffer. They wish to destroy her mind before they kill her. The Lords are at war now, and only when the four demon Lord unite can peace ever be brought back to our world. The Western Lord destroys the hide out of the snake. Now go.”

“Thank you Seer,” Ash said as she bowed. The door was once more opened, and she left, followed by a quiet InuYasha. Once the door closed, InuYasha turned to her.

“Who the hell was the creepy old man?” InuYasha asked as she started walking towards the place she knew Sesshomaru to be at.

“One who is cursed to walk this Earth until it is no more,” Ash replied, walking away from the door and back out into the streets. “He is plagued with visions of possible futures of the Earth and it’s people. The Seer will only help those who he knows can make a difference, and we must hurry if we are to make that difference!”

“How does it feel,” Miska laughed darkly, as she pulled Taijina’s hair back, forcing her head in an awkward position. “To know you are so close to losing everything you care about. To soon be seeing the tortured look upon your son’s face as I personally gut him!”

“Do you think my mate and son shall fall so easily,” Taijina laughed, and her head was yanked back more by her hair. “The only one who will be gutted today will be you. Then I shall spill you sister’s blood.”

“Do not speak of Lady Mira with such brash words,” Miska growled, as she flung Taijina’s head down. “Your mate is too stubborn to even ask for help where to find you, what makes you think his stubbornness will choose him to save his son over you. After all could you not just give him another heir?”

“My mate knows pups before anything,” Taijina lashed back, struggling once more against her chains. “Even me. I would cut off my hands and feet before I let anyone harm my pups!”

“Interesting,” Miska laughed. “I may have to take you up on that idea.”

“My Lady!” a female voice called to her from somewhere behind Taijina.

“What is it,” Miska roared, hating to be interrupted.

“They are here,” the voice replied. Both Miska and Taijina knew who they were. Both started to anticipate the war that had just begun.
