The good news was that Fuu was indeed with pup. The bad news was that the pups were all female. Shippo had to produce an heir before he could unmate from her.

Fuu was going to be an exceptional Mother and she had been a devoted wife. Shippo wished he felt the same way. He was going to do the unthinkable. He was indeed going to mate all three of his loves after the pups were born. He just couldn’t live without Sven and there was no way that he could allow Choukichi to be mated to the Ken clan. Lord Lin stated if the first litter did not produce a male that this was a possibility.

“Shippo, you cannot defy the elders. If they wish to mate off Choukichi you may not be able to stop it. The last thing your Father needs is war because of our selfish desires.”

Sven stated in frustration.

“It matters not to me. If Ken wants a fight he will get one. I claimed Choukichi and therefore he is my responsibility. I will not have another take his virginity.”

Shippo stated firmly.

“In two months time you will not have that option my love. You have to think of your people over your own feelings. Choukichi knows his mistake and he is willing to repent for it. You have to let him go if that is what is best to stop war. We haven’t had a war with the Ken clan for many generations.’
“I know what the Great Inu No Tashio Lord Sesshoumaru would say the same thing I am and if you cared at all for any of us you would think about making Choukichi go to the trainers like the rest of us so that he knows what he is getting into.”

Sven stated in frustration.

“I know what is best for us Sven. I will do such for all of us. I don’t need you to lecture me too. I will fight the Kens if I must. It has already been proclaimed that you and Choukichi will be my second mates with Fuu or not. If I cannot produce an heir with her I will produce one with you or Choukichi. I do not need your advice Sven. I need your support so be a good beta and do what I tell you to do. Let me deal with the consequences.”

Shippo stated then strode away not wanting to listen to Sven any longer. He was the Lord and Sven needed to back off.

Sven hung his head and strode away in frustration. Choukichi overheard all of it and was just as frustrated as Sven. Shippo was being selfish and fact of the matter was Choukichi knew he had made a mistake. He wanted to make amends, but how could he if Shippo was constantly protecting him?

Inuyasha watched as Sesshoumaru dressed for court. Today was important and he would be leaving for a few days. It was the first time in years that they would be apart.

“Why do you have to do this now? I don’t understand……….the least you could do is taken Thoren and I with you. You are just going to see the Ken clan. It isn’t like we do not know them.”

Inuyasha stated pouting while still naked in bed.

“I do not want you both in danger. We may end up having the negotiations go sour and then there will be war. I doubt the Kens want that, but they are all such hot heads like you that I doubt they will listen to reason.”

Sesshoumaru was also concerned about his daughter Kagome, since she was mated already to the Ken’s young heir Atsushi. If the Lord of the East wanted a battle, his daughter would not be involved. She would come home immediately pregnant or not.

“What is his beef anyway? It isn’t like we didn’t do right by the East. He didn’t battle with us against Naraku and he sure as hell didn’t help out with the cat demons.”

Sesshoumaru sighed.

“Before you were sealed to the tree, Lord Ken sent many demons to help and unfortunately they were useless. Still, I owe him for his efforts. I would prefer to remain at peace since fighting the Kens will only end in unneeded casualties since we will wipe them off the face of the earth with or without our other two allies. It is time to remind Lord Ken of this.”

Inuyasha understood the plan, but he didn’t have to like that he was being left behind.

“Keh….you should just let me knock him in the head a few times.”

Sesshoumaru smirked.

“I did think of that Inuyasha, but I am trying to negotiate and would rather do so with words at this time. Perhaps next time you can do so.”

Inuyasha harrumphed and still sulked on the bed. He didn’t like being left behind.

Sesshoumaru wanted to laugh at his sulking mate. Inuyasha was so damn adorable sitting like he was on the large bed sinking into the mattress so all you really could see from his vantage point was the pouting face and those ridiculous ears.

“It will take you forever to get back and I will be stuck here with Thoren. Thoren keeps lecturing me on my speech and there ain’t nothin’ wrong with the way I talk. I will talk how I want to. Bastards…..Just cause you both want to talk like idiots saying things like ‘this Sesshoumaru’ or whatever doesn’t mean I have to.”

Sesshoumaru did chuckle at that.

“Thus is why you are not going to do negotiations Inuyasha. You will never have that burden and it is admirable the way you continue to defy everyone. That is what endears me to you.”

Inuyasha threw a pillow at Sesshoumaru.

“I only defy you asshole.”

Sesshoumaru couldn’t help it. Inuyasha started it and so he wrestled the boy to the ground before Inuyasha could blink. As Sesshoumaru proved his dominance again as he sat on top of Inuyasha tickling him until he cried out enough.

“I love you imp.”

Sesshoumaru stated nuzzling his beloved.

“I love you too……..asshole……..”

Inuyasha stated as Sesshoumaru laughed.

“I’ll show you what I can do with your lovely bottom if you keep calling me that………”

Inuyasha tried to get out from under Sesshoumaru struggling a bit and clawing the floor as Sesshoumaru smirked at his wife.

“Ya……ya perverted molester………let me up!”

Sesshoumaru pulled Inuyasha’s arms over his head.

“No.”

Thoren walked in on the scene and smiled a bit.

“Throwing a tantrum again I see Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha looked up at Thoren.

“Keh……that was last week….. Sesshoumaru is just tormenting me for being a brat. How’s your day been?”

Thoren closed the door and started removing his clothing.

“As usual I perfected etiquette class, but apparently you have rubbed off on me so my language skills need improvement………brat Prince.”

“Good, see Sesshoumaru, I have some influence on someone at least. Who says I cannot negotiate if I can make both you snobs sink down to my level every now and again. Seems I am quite persuasive.”

Sesshoumaru chuckled again.

“Indeed. However I have many more uses for that tongue of yours so behave my little wife.”

Sesshoumaru let Inuyasha up and kissed him softly.

“Now let me leave my love so I can return to you soon.”

It was so damn hard for Sesshoumaru to go too.

Inuyasha kissed Sesshoumaru and then groped his ass. Thoren too was kissed and then Sesshoumaru left his two beloved mates.
