It was 3 days after Christmas and Sesshomaru and Anaminé where in her families house taking sheets and what not that had been place over furniture to protect it from dust. She was wearing a pair of old jeans and a old t-shirt her hair was in a loses braid. Sesshomaru was dressed similarly to her as he opened up the blinds to let light into the house. Anaminé placed her hands on her hips as she looked around.
“I can’t believe its been 7 months since I’ve been here” Anaminé said as she looked around.
“If it’s too hard for you we can always just get a bigger apartment or another house” Sesshomaru said looked at her.
“No its good to be home and it makes me happy that I can raise my family in the house that I grew up in. It’ll be like a little piece of my parents are still with us.” Anaminé smiled.
Anaminé began up the stairs and opened the double doors to the master bedroom. She flipped a switch on the wall turning on the electric chandler that hung from the ceiling. The master bed room was that largest room in the house it had a king sized bed a small little sitting area and large antique desk and a fire place. She walked over to a chest that sat at the foot of her parent’s bed and got onto her knees as Sesshomaru stood behind her. She slowly opened the top and picked up a bundle of light blue fabric that had an old piece of decretive string tied around it. She held it which such care and gently placed it on the floor.
“What is that?” Sesshomaru asked
“This is my mothers Wedding Kimono.” Anaminé spoke softly
“I wanted to get it out and possibly hand it up in my old studio just so it can air out. My mother would take it out every few years to air it out and make sure moths hadn’t gotten to it.” Anaminé said as she began to untie the string genteelly.
She smiled as she on folded the fabric that hid its true treasure. Anaminé began to unfold the kimono and held the shoulders as she slowly stood up holding it examining it for any tares or anything. She smiled to see that it was still in good condition.
“It is truly a beautiful kimono” Sesshomaru said
“Where you around yet when my parents where married?” Anaminé asked looking over at Sesshomaru.
“No I wasn’t born for a few more years but I remember how much your parents where in love and how bravely they fought” Sesshomaru said
“You got the best part of both of them” Sesshomaru added
Anaminé blushed some
Sesshomaru laughed some and walked over at her placing a hand on her cheek.
“Some times I forget you are still considered a child in this time and are easily embarrassed.” Sesshomaru said befor leaning down giving her a soft kiss on her lips.
“If I’m a child then that means you’re a old man” Anaminé teased and stuck out her tongue as she winked.
Sesshomaru laughed at this “Come on lets go hang this up so it can air out some its only 4 days untill you have to wear it”
Anaminé nodded and began to go down stairs.
The next four days flew by them so fast that it all became a blur. Anaminé stood with her mothers wedding kimono on and her hair and makeup done it was mere moments befor she would be called to the ceremony hall. She took in a shaky breath and placed a hand on her stomach that was hidden under the layers of fabric.
“Okay guys let me get threw this with out losing my breakfast okay.” Anaminé said looking into the mirror.
There was a small tap at the door, Anaminé turned her head to the door and called for them to come in. The door slid open revealing Inu Tiasho in his formal wear. A caring smiled slid across his eyes.
“You look just like your mother all those years ago, absolutely beautiful.” Inu Tiasho said softly as he walked into the room admiring her.
Anaminé blushed some “I’m just nervous about keeping my breakfast down”
Inu Tiasho gave a small laugh and took her hand in his, Befor we get started the elder would like to have a word with you.
Anaminé nodded.
Inu Taisho left the room and returned with the elder. Anaminé bowed respectfully to the old demon.
“Great Elder it is a honor” Anaminé spoke softly.
“Thank you young child, I am honored to be here today to join you and Prince Sesshomaru, it warms my heart that after so much trial and tribulation you have had to endure over this year that you have found happiness. You have grown so much from that last time I spoke to you in your fathers study almost a year ago. You have grown from a child to a woman. Even after all the hurt that has befallen you your heart has not harden it has stayed caring and pure.” The elder said to her
“Thank you great elder but I have your mother to thank for that, when I felt my world was braking and I was alone she was there, it is because of her that I am alive today” Anaminé spoke softly
The elder’s eyes widened some “my mother….”
Anaminé’s bowed head looked up looking at him with a small sparkle in her blue eyes. The elder’s heart seemed to be floating it was like looking into his mothers eyes so many years ago.
“I know your mother was the first one to receive the spirit of the moon maiden, the same one that is in me today and gave me my demonic powers so I could live, the same one that I will help defend our people and everyone from any evil that may befall them” Anaminé said looking into the great elders wise golden eyes.
The great elder smiled gently “That is good to hear child, the god where wised when they place her in you, now lets get you out to your mate shall we?”
Anaminé nodded with a smile, the elder left so he could take his place and only a few moments later did Anaminé make her grand entrance. Anaminé was escorted by Inu Tiasho up to Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru and Anaminé took each others hands and faced each other. All the lords where there except the south along with all of Anaminé’s friends and Sesshomaru’s. The Great Elder began to speak.
“We bring bother humans and Demons here together today to witness the Mating of Princes Sesshomaru and Anaminé Sano daughter of the late General Takeshi Sano. Threw a dark and tragic time for the Demon Dog pack these two found a light, and happiness in one another. Many of us have watched both these people grow and blossom into the Demons they are today. Sesshomaru a strong honorable demon who is destine to take over after his father, who is loyal to his pack and threw growing up has learn both of heart ach and happiness, and Anaminé a long awaited child between a couple so much love, who during her child hood was surrounded by princes but still was a sweet delight to have at gatherings and learn how to be tough as any male demon in our pack but yet is as gentle and graceful as any woman here today. She has brought demons and humans together in friendship. With these to destine to lead the dog demons and the western land I have no doubt that the Western lands will be as strong as it ever has. With a strong Lord and a caring gentle Lady looking after it.” The Great Elder spoke over the crowd.
The great elder took a small elaborate dagger in his hand and gave it to Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru took it and turned over one of Anaminé’s hands and ran the dagger across her hand and held it over a beautifully jeweled cup letting the blood drop into it. With in a minute the wound on her hand had disappeared. Sesshomaru took the cup into his hands and help it up in front of him.
“With this I take I make a promise to forever have you at my side and take no other for the rest of my days.” Sesshomaru said and then put the sup to his lips and drank the blood which was in the cup.
Anaminé then took the dagger and ran it across Sesshomaru’s hand and held it over the cup letting it drip in. she then took the sup and held it up like Sesshomaru had and spoke.
“With this I take I make a promise to forever stand by your side and take no other for the rest of my days” Anaminé spoke and then brought the cup to her lips and drank it.
“And with that I now present to you Sesshomaru and Anaminé Taisho” The great elder said
Sesshomaru wrapped his arm around Anaminé’s waist bringing her close to him and brought his lip to her in a passionate kiss as everyone stood clapping throwing flower petals into the air causing a rain of purples, reds, and blues to fall around them.
The rest of the day the guest spent the time talking and eating with each other. Sesshomaru and Anaminé had retired early and left their guest just after sundown. Once in their room Anaminé went over to a lounge couch and sat down putting her feet up with a relaxed sigh, she yawned some. She had been up since early morning making sure last minute things where done and to get ready. The days befor that Here and Sesshomaru ad been busy straighten up her house making everything was back to normal and filling the pantry and fridge back up with food and taking down the furniture that was her old room to get started on the nursery.
“I am exhausted I don’t think I want to move.” Anaminé spoke softly with her eyes closed.
Sesshomaru walked up behind the arm of the couch that she was leaning against and slowly began to take out her hair decorations and take down her hair.
“Why don’t you take a bath and we can go to bed early tonight you’ve earned it” Sesshomaru said with a smile.
“That dose sound nice.” Anaminé said with a tired smile.
“Why don’t you have Kagome, Kikyo, and Sango join you in the hot spring you can have some girl talk and just relax” Sesshomaru said rubbing her shoulders.
“It has been a while since I’ve been able to sit down and just talk with them” Anaminé said
Sesshomaru leaned over and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek “Ill have the servants go inform them while you get your things.”
“Thank you my love” Anaminé said as she slowly got up and went over to her bag and got her shampoo and other grooming products.
After a few minutes she met her friends at the privet royal hot spring bath. It had two guards standing at the doors. The four girls sat in the warm water relaxing.
“This is great” Kagome said
“You’re so lucky Anaminé marrying into royalty” Kikyo said
“If Inu Yasha wakes up at some point I’m sure Kagome will be joining me” Anaminé said with a slight laugh.
“So Anaminé are you going to be able to graduate with us this year?” Sango asked
“If everything goes well I’ve been working hard on catching up Sesshomaru has helped me a lot.” Anaminé said
“Who would though that Mr. Icy could turn out to be so caring.” Kagome said
“You just have to understand him to see past the stoic face he puts up. Tell ya the truth he is the most over protective guy I have ever met, with the house he makes sure I take a hour long break every two hours, makes sure I have a well balanced diet, and so on.” Anaminé said with a slight chuckle as the other girls gave a slight laugh.
“How is the house coming along?” Sango asked
“Well we have everything straightened up and it feels like home again, we are in the process of taking all my old furniture out of my old bed room so we can make it into the nursery it’s the largest room closest to the master bed room so it’s the most logical place to put three babies” Anaminé said as she placed a hand on her small baby bump.
“Everything seems to finally be looking up for you” Kikyo said with a smile
“Yeah it really is but it would be nice if I could spend more time with you guys but I’m just so busy I wake up eat work and I don’t even remember climbing into bed when I wake up the next morning.” Anaminé said with a laugh
“So much to do in the next 5 months.” Anaminé added stretching some.
“Don’t worry there is always the baby shower” Kagome said
“Do you know what you’re having yet?” Sango asked
“No I should know by my next appointment” Anaminé said with a smile.
“We will have to make it a girl’s day some time after you find out so we can go start looking at nursery things.” Kagome said putting her hands together
