I thought I lost you

Before you start reading chapter 22… I would like to ask some people, who are interested in being a beta reader… people are suggesting that I should get one, I’m really open to that suggestion cause I myself want to make this story good…

Chapter 22


All attention was in the tree of life as the oracle explains to them what she sees in the future.

Inuyasha lay silent in the eternity spring when dark aura started to come out of him. The water around him became turbid and dark.

Sensing dark powerful energy everyone knew where the dark energy was coming from and look to see Inuyasha engulfed in black aura as he slowly sinks deeper into the water.

Everyone rushed to Inuyasha but was thrown back by the dark energy.

“Inuyasha” a low manly voice called out to him.

“Who are you?” Inuyasha asked. He appeared glowing in a void space where he floats in the darkness.

“It is me my darling, Lucifer.” Lucifer appeared in front of Inuyasha and embraced him.

As Lucifer was holding Inuyasha, he could hear a heart beating. “What is that?” Inuyasha audibly inquired.

“It is my heart beating Inuyasha. It beats at the same rhythm as yours.” Lucifer explained holding Inuyasha in his arms; Inuyasha’s head was pressed to Lucifer’s chest.

“What do you mean?” Inuyasha said blankly.

“My heart and your heart beats at the same time Inuyasha… when you gave your blood to open Pandora’s Box, where my soul was imprisoned, you also gave life to me.” Lucifer said as he was to kiss Inuyasha.

The tip of a root from the tree of life touching Inuyasha’s head glowed as the oracle tried to find Inuyasha in what seems to be an abyss. She saw light and gone there.

Inuyasha felt warm lips by his, as warm breath massaged his face; “Inuyasha!” someone called out to him and all events that happened in Murglor came rushing back to him. He pushed Lucifer away and stepped back.

The oracle appeared behind Inuyasha in a form of white ball like light. “Inuyasha my child do not listen to what ever he says… no matter what Inuyasha do not listen to him.”

Lucifer’s aura started to come out as a red light margining him, his long hair started to rise due the aura. He was scowling at the oracle, his symbol appeared in his forehead “You are not welcome here oracle!” he said in booming voice “LEAVE!” he bellowed as his aura pulsed out from his body.

The oracle’s face on the tree of life remained expressionless as all attention was to her. Her eyes were closed when she suddenly took a deep breathe, “Lucifer is inside Inuyasha’s mind my children… but he forced me out.” She said her face full of concern.

“What did you do?! Get of my head Lucifer!” Inuyasha bellowed.

“No Inuyasha… I am staying here not until you accept me.” Lucifer said as he nears Inuyasha.

Inuyasha’s body started to emit white aura that mixed with the black one seemingly battling each other.

Inuyasha leapt a fair distance away “There is no way that that is going to happen!” Inuyasha was engulfed in white light as he transformed in his seraphim form. “Now get out!” his aura pulsed out rushing to Lucifer.

White aura came rushing to Lucifer but a barrier protected him. Lucifer smiled at Inuyasha’s form. “You are very beautiful Inuyasha but you’ll be more beautiful with your youkai.” Lucifer’s eyes glowed blood red. Chains took hold of Inuyasha’s extremities and his neck. Lucifer slowly walked to Inuyasha and cupped his cheeks.

Inuyasha’s body started convulsing making everyone call out to him.

Inuyasha swung his face away from Lucifer’s touch making him frown. “Let’s get to know your youkai better.” Lucifer smiled and magically dug his hand inside Inuyasha’s chest making Inuyasha scream in pain. Lucifer groped for something “ah… I found you at last.” Lucifer once again started emitting red aura and conducted it to his hand to Inuyasha.

Inuyasha’s glowing white eyes shut from the intense pain and opened revealing a red glow. His fangs started to elongate, his demon marking became more and more visible also with his crescent moon on his fore head and his claws became more and more pronounced his white feathers started to molt away being changed to black ones and lastly his aura turned red. His screams of pain became roars, and howls of awakening. Lucifer unsheathed his hand from Inuyasha’s chest. He reveled on Inuyasha’s as Inuyasha looked intently to him.

Inuyasha charged to Lucifer locking him in a heated kiss. Their lips parted for much needed air. “I love you Inuyasha.” Lucifer said to him cupping his face and chastely kissed him. Inuyasha nudged at Lucifer’s neck in approval.

Lucifer’s image started to flicker “I am going to leave you for now my darling… I will come back for you and bring you to where you are supposed to be… you are my mate.” He chastely kissed Inuyasha again and vanished.

Inuyasha’s convulsion stopped but the dark aura still remained, together with the Sun Well’s purification the dark aura vanished making Inuyasha float again.

Inuyasha’s eyes slowly opened, Philander was quickly by his side and brought him out of the water. Settling him down on the soft grass Elvira rushed to him and embraced him.

“Are you okay darling?” Elvira said worriedly

“Yes mother I am fine…” Inuyasha re-assured and smiled, he frowned when his memory never told him why he was in garden “what happened?” Inuyasha inquired. Everyone was surprise at Inuyasha’s answer.

“My child, after you opened Pandora’s Box you lost so much blood” The oracle explained “you were put into the eternity spring for healing when dark aura surrounded you, I have to go in and find you to see Lucifer with you.” The oracle stooped to see Inuyasha’s reaction and assess if he remembers something.

Inuyasha frowned really not remembering anything. The oracle seeing Inuyasha’s reaction continued. “I knew then that Lucifer wants you my child then I was forced out by his demonic powers.”

”can you really not remember anything Inuyasha?” Philander said lovely but worried.

“I really can’t. The last thin I knew is that I agreed to open Pandora’s Box after that I remember nothing.” Inuyasha said innocently. “Now I know I opened the box… and great evil is set loose… and he wants me…” Inuyasha said dejectedly.

“He will never lay a finger on you Inuyasha… not unless he walks over my grave.” Philander said to him and embraced him.

Inuyasha melted in his embrace but felt something more… A feeling foreign to him but is well familiar with him. He looked at Sesshomaru looking placidly at them then he knew it was coming from him, he felt sorrow emanating form him. “I would like to rest Philander.”

“Sure Inuyasha…”Philander was about to carry him. “uh… Philander… I can walk.” Inuyasha said glancing at Sesshomaru. “But Inuyasha-“Philander insisted. “I said I can walk!” Inuyasha yelled at Philander.

Everyone was shocked with Inuyasha’s outburst, not just by it but to whom it is directed. Inuyasha’s sensing everyone’s feelings radiating from them “I’m sorry… I’m just tired… can you please walk me to the room brother?” Philander was about to assist him “No, Sesshomaru.” He called out to him.

Sesshomaru walked to hi and assisted him, everyone turned to leave when Inuyasha stopped and turned around to look at the spring. He saw his reflection, the demon form that he was when he was with Lucifer. It was smiling at him, the spring showed his true feelings. He turned around and gestured to walk away. Sesshomaru complied as everyone followed.

“Elvira my child.” The oracle called out for Elvira.

“Yes grand mother?” Elvira turned around to see the oracle’s worried face.

“I wish to peak to you privately…” the oracle's voice full of concern.
