Frightful Flight

Chapter Twenty-one

Kagome had just about finished her final touches on her make-up, when Inuyasha walked in. He was slightly stunned at how beautiful Kagome was. She was in a form fitting halter top dress that had a dangerously low v-cut dip, generously exposing the tops of her breasts. It cut off at mid-thigh and had a slight slit up to her upper-thigh. The gorgeous lush gold dress has a glimmer to it that reflected nicely in the dimly lit room. A pair of black strappy sandals donned her feet bringing her up from a height of 5' 7" to a height of 5' 9". A beautiful shining pair of silver drop ears hung close to the fair skin of her neck. The only make-up she wore was the usual pale rose colored lip gloss.

When Kagome turned around she appraised her counter part. Inuyasha gave off a god like glow. His pale silver hair and gold eyes were so amazing they seemed unreal. His muscles bulged just enough to impress anyone, through his silky black dress shirt. The pants he wore were a pair of neatly pressed black dress slacks and matching black shoes complimented his appearance. She glanced back up at him and smiled. There earlier tryst forgotten, as they walked to the front door. They were set to meet Sango and her date at
Club Silver in twenty minutes.

"You look fantastic." Kagome's smile brightened and she looked down shyly.

"Thank you. You don't look bad, yourself." Inuyasha kissed her and headed out the front door, locking arms and forgetting all about their worries.

They arrived at the club ten minutes early. The second Kagome arrived she headed to the front of the line, Inuyasha following right behind.

"Hey Joe. How are you?" Kagome new the bouncer here because she and Sango had come to this place a lot in the past.

"Good. Wow you look good. I heard about the hospital situation. I'm glad you're okay. Save me a dance alright?" the tall bulky 23 year old male smiled at her lightly. His smile made him look like a little boy with his blond hair and blue eyes.

Kagome gave a light airy laugh. "You got it." Then they proceed to go inside, much to the distaste of the long line of waiting people. Inuyasha had given the guy a low growl, which told the guy to stay away, if he knew what's best for his health. The bouncer merely smiled a benevolent smile and nodded in a good natured way.

Kagome found a seat at the bar and Inuyasha didn't hesitate to be right by her side.

"What would you like Kag?" the bartender was a friend of Kagome's from college. She and Kagome met her first day on campus. Ayame had come up to her when she and Kouga had been arguing over him going on a date with her. Kagome was saved when Ayame wrangled Kouga into a date with her instead. Ayame was in love with Kouga, they'd known each other since high school. Instantly the two bonded as friends and even though sometimes Ayame was jealous of Kagome, for Kouga was so into her, they were pretty close.

"Ummm...a bloody mary sounds good." Ayame nodded then turned to Inuyasha, who was holding Kagome possessively.

"And for you?" Inuyasha turned his head toward her and the wolf youkai melted in his eyes.

"Scotch on the rocks." Inuyasha looked indifferently at the lusty female in her short black dress that came to just below her ass and was strapless. The white apron clashed with the barely-there-wear, seeing it came about a foot past the end of the dress. She had splashed so many drinks on her dresses in the past; she always wore an apron to protect her favorite clubbin clothes. She did a few fancy moves with the bottles and slammed the two drinks down on the wooden counter with a smirk.

"Thanks Ayame. How are things with you and Kouga?" Kagome hated drinking, but she didn't mind a small bit of a bloody mary.

"We’re good. He's actually meeting me here tonight around twelve. Who's the new hottie?" Ayame gave a salacious smile that suggested many sinful thoughts.

"This is my-" Inuyasha had cut her off as if she hadn't spoke.

"I'm Inuyasha her-"

"Boyfriend." It would have been funny how they were finishing each other’s sentences, but Kagome had this thing about being cut off. Ayame looked at Kagome for a moment this sniffed the air slightly and then looked surprised at Kagome, then to Inuyasha. She could smell his scent intertwined slightly with Kagome's. God she was envious. First Kagome has Kouga's attention, and now this hot hanyou. She smiled a knowing smile to Inuyasha who smirked at her, in return. She excused herself and walked over to her next customer with a small goodbye.

Sango walked over to them with a bright smile. "Hey, we're over in a booth. And thanks for being here." Sango was decked out in a purple knee length dress with a boat neck and quarter length sleeves, her purple shiny leather high heeled boots came up to her knee and gave her an amazing flare and yet modest appearance. Her hair was down and some slid across her shoulders. Her make-up consisted of thin black liner and dark black mascara with a mixture of purple and magneta eye shadow (which creates a prettier color shadow) and clearish purple gloss.

When they reached the table both Inuyasha and Kagome's eyes grew wide. THIS was her date. "Miroku?" they both spoke in unison, they remembered the young man from the plane.
He looked basically the same except he was in a purple dress shirt and black dress slacks and shoes that matched well.

"Oh hello. I didn't know you were the friends Sango was talking about us meeting." He extended his hand, which Inuyasha took. He quickly got over his surprise. He didn't appreciate the way Miroku was looking at Kagome. They did the idly chit chat thing for a while. It turns out Miroku is a monk and, yet here he was in New York working on his major for business to start his own.

Sango was sipping her drink and bobbing her head to the music. A light blush graced her cheeks every time she glanced at Miroku, who in turn gave her a sly smile and complimented her. He was pretty smooth, but he lost points because when Sango leanned over to answer her, now ringing, cell phone he caressed her bottom. Her face lit up a bright shade of red and she smacked him screaming "PERVERT" (would put hentai, but Sango grew up in the states, it fit better).

To take pressure off the situation and get away from Miroku's wandering hands Kagome jumped in with a save. "Well why don't we dance?" Kagome suggested. Inuyasha took her hand and led her to the floor.

The second the couple hit the floor it was like magic. Everyone's attention snapped to the dancing duo. The song was 'Karma' by Alicia Keys. Kagome did a few slick moves. She, at the moment, had her ass in Inuyasha's lap and was grinded. She pulled back and circled him with a seductive look and step to her. Inuyasha as she was moving toward his front grabbed her and pulled her to him, grinding their fronts together. The song changed to a beat and they did a kind of dance off.

Inuyasha went with the rap beat and did a few tricks that drew a few gasps and shouts from the forming crowd. Kagome wasn't one to back down from a challenge so she threw in her own stunts. The two made quiet a show. Inuyasha ended up in doing a neck kip and landing on his feet arms spread. Kagome on the other hand had her body twisted in an odd, but impressive way, from the back flip she just finished off.

*******Scene Change********

Naraku sat up in the private room that over looked the dance floor and his red eyes became narrow slits. He had thought that the last time he had the opportunity to see that tainted bitch was the last time anyone would ever see her. How had this weak little miko survived? He had spent many hours personally torturing her. He remembered the way she cried out in pain; it was sweet music to his ears. He was elated when Kikyo had told him about her cousin’s coma. The little bitch had rebuffed him at every one of his advances. Kagome had even spit in his face and bitten down on his, still sore, tongue when he tried to kiss her.

He watched as she grinded against that filthy hanyou. He would crush them all and then take over the Tashio business, with the help of his lawyers and get the Shikon no Tama. He had hoped that if he killed off the nuisance, her body would produce the jewel from her, but no such luck. 'No worries I'll have the jewel, the company and finish off the Tashio family for good.' Sure he had killed their father, the proud demon lord was just as stubborn as his sons, but it wasn't enough. It wasn't enough not by a long shot. He knew that it would end and it would end soon.

Kikyo snaked her arms around his neck. Her dress was strapless ended just below her hips, covering her private area's just enough they didn't show. Her heels were at least 6 inches high and the whole alphet was black. Her make-up was heavy, the thick liner and the way to high, black eye shadow made her look even paler than she already was. Her dark brown lipstick made her hooker look complete. "Can we start our fun yet?" she was eager to finish off her goodie goodie cousin. Kikyo had always been envious of her younger cousin. The family had never once considered Kikyo as good as their 'precious' Kagome.

"In a minute. Give everyone the signal, to get into position." She nodded and gave him a kiss.

**********Scene Change**********

Inuyasha suddenly sensed something wasn't right. The click of a loaded gun, being pulled back at the ready, caught his attention. He closed his eyes as though lost in the moment and picked out the enemy. It turned out there were ten demons stationed in different points aiming at him and his Kagome. Then he felt it....the one demon whose blood made his own boil, Naraku. He pretended to lead Kagome off toward the table. He whispered what was happening to her and she automatically became aware and anxious.

Inuyasha walked off somewhere no one could see. He made his way up the staircase to the private room. He knew that Naraku was aware and ready for him to come up. He would act like he was reckless and then- BANG. A gun went off. Inuyasha froze. He raced back to Kagome only to find the crowd was panicking and running around. Kagome was being held by a demon. They struggled and then Kagome did something that amazed him. Kagome began to glow pink and the demon howled and pulled away releasing her. He was burned. He lunged at her and the glow brightened and killed the demon, like the one that attacked Kagome in her apartment, it disappeared.

Demons surrounded him and Kagome. Inuyasha took them two at a time. Kagome was having more difficulty because they were shooting at her and unlike Inuyasha she was slower and needed to be more careful. They killed the demons, and now Inuyasha was rushing with Kagome to get out. He wanted to make sure she was safe before killing the bastard.

In the back of the club it was dark out and was a vacant field. There was dirt and little grass on the ground. It looked familiar to both of them. Then they realized this was the place from their vision. They saw two figures in the dark. Naraku and Kikyo stepped forward. It was time.

A/N: Yes this was a short chapter, but I'm getting close to the end now. I'd say this fanfic has a few chapters left. *Sigh* it's so sad, but all good things come to an end. I'm thankful for all of my reviews and reviewers. Please continue to R&R. Until next time......Egyptian Kiss!
