Taijina stood outside the main hall, she slumped against the wall. She wanted to rip out her hair and scream, but knew she couldn’t. How much worst could things get? After all Sesshomaru had lock Celina in her room, made another death threat to Koga, and insulted Lord Haimara in less then a hour. The stress was finally getting to her, she thought as she slid down the wall, laughing.
Sesshomaru walked out to find her sitting on the floor, just laughing. Looking down at her he cocked an eyebrow. When she looked up he caused her only to laugh more.
“Might I ask what is so funny?” he asked her. Her reply was a shrug of the shoulders and her laughter dying. “Well I really don’t find any of this as funny.”
“I’m waiting to awake from this nightmare called life,” she sighed, as she took the hand he offered. Pulling her up off the floor, he picked her up bridal style, and started walking down the hall. “Hey! Put me down!”
“I will when we reach our destination,” he replied, as he continued his journey down the hall. He kicked opened the door to his bedroom and placed her upon the bed. “You are over stressed, and need rest. It is unhealthy for both you and the baby.”
“You are just trying to ignore the problems here!” she growled as he tossed his suit jacket aside he had put on for the meeting. He climbed into bed with her, and wrapped his arms around her.
“I am not,” he argued. “You just don’t wish to admit I am right about you needing more rest.”
“Then tell me why our daughter is locked in her room,” she yawned, and turned from him. “Why are two Lords are pissed at you? Why the council is demanding another meeting? Why the world seems to be coming to a disastrous plot to destroy any chance at a peaceful life? And yet, InuYasha and Kagome may have a chance they deserve, as long as the others stop interfering.”
“You are far too stressed,” he purred into her ear, as he pulled her against him.
“I’d be less stressed if you let Celina out of her room,” Taijina replied, hiding her smile from him.
“Only if you sleep for the next two hours,” he counter offered.
“Fine,” she sighed, as he eyes started to close. Taijina could use the sleep, so she would accept his counteroffer gladly. “Now go let her out.”
“Alright,” he replied, getting out of the bed. “I’ll be back in two hours, and you better not leave this bed.”
“Of course,” she yawned, as she nuzzled the black silk covered pillow and pulled the silk sheets to her chin. Sesshomaru took one last look at her before he shut the door. Shaking his head, he walked down the hall to his daughter’s chambers. Unlocking the door, he opened to find her room torn apart, her bed flipped, and Celina sitting on the floor, glaring at him.
“If you can act like a lady and stay away from that wolf you may leave your room,” he told her.
“Of course father,” she growled as she stood, straighten her disheveled dress and hair.
“Make sure you are presentable before you leave this room,” he ordered, as he left, but turned to her once more. “Also have Mya send someone to clean that mess.”
“As you wish father,” she replied bitterly, turning to the mirror to fix her appearance. Celina refused to let her father see the rage burning in her eyes anymore. It wasn’t like he cared. The only one she could depend upon was herself and she knew that. Her and Koga where only friends, why couldn’t her father see that. Always jumping to conclusion about any male not related to her wanting to mate her since her seventy fifth birthday.
Twenty five years of this crap was enough to drive anyone crazy. Mya entered the room, and started to straighten up as Celina left the room. Unsure of where she was going she headed straight down the hall. She still had some pent up fury and someone was going to take the bullet, whether they were innocent or not. The first person she saw was going to get it from her.

“I’ve missed you so much,” InuYasha told her, as he sat in the chair with Kagome in his lap. Just wanting to take in her scent and just be near her, InuYasha was content for once in five hundred years.
“It’s odd,” Kagome replied, trying to straighten her thoughts out. “I just saw you on the other side of the well, but for you it has been five hundred years. What happened to everyone?”
“Miroku and Sango got married, had lots of children and resettled the old slayer village,” InuYasha started. “They both made me promise to make sure you ended up happy, and their first born was a female. They named her Kagome. Some of their ancestors are near by. Kilala lives here now, and has since the passing of Miroku and Sango.”
“What of Kikyo?” Kagome asked, interrupting him.
“A few years after the well closed she came for me,” he told her. “She wanted us to go to hell together. I turned her away. Kikyo is no longer apart of my life, you are the only female I wish to spend the rest of my life with. She is of no importance to me, even though a part of me will always love her. You are the only one who has fully accepted me as a Hanyou. Neither human nor demon fully, yet you accepted me fully. I love you Kagome.”
“Oh Inu…” Kagome was interrupted by a scream. They rushed out the door to see Sesshomaru running down the hall followed by Koga and some male Kagome didn’t recognize. InuYasha and Kagome followed them to where Ash was trying to calm down a hysterical Celina, who was standing in the archway to Sesshomaru‘s room.
“What is going on here?” Sesshomaru demanded, as he looked into his room. The window was busted open, the room was in complete disarray, and upon further inspection he noticed Celina’s lip was split and her dress was ripped. His eyes started to tint red as he looked for Taijina in the room the growled lowly. “Where is my mate?”
“They took her,” Celina screamed, holding back her tears. “I went in to talk to mother, and their was a strange demoness putting a cloth with a strange smell over her mouth. I went to attack her and three others appeared out of no where. They took her!”
Sesshomaru punched the wall, his hand going threw the stone wall without a problem. Koga noticed Kagome standing next to him, but he was more concerned about Celina who Ash was slowly leading away. Staying glued to the spot, he and InuYasha exchange glance, and then look towards the demon lord standing back. The demoness had gone too far now, having kidnapped the Lady of the West.
