A/N: WOW 20 chapters! this is offically my longest story i have ever writen i cant believe it and i still have a little bit longer to go befor the story ends, and im going to allow Anaminé and Sesshomaru some happy time with their friends and family untill the crazy bad people begin to act up again. the deserve it after being away form each other for so long. Sesshomaru woke up to the sound of Anaminé in the bathroom, She came shuffling out of the bathroom and over to the bed and laid back down with a groan. It had only taken a few days for Sesshomaru to tell that she was pregnant that was two weeks ago. It was just this week that the morning sickness hit her. Sesshomaru curled up next to her wrapping his arm around her waist and rubbing her belly.

“I’ll be back this afternoon for the appointment, then we can go out for lunch if you want” Sesshomaru’s husky voice spoke softly

“Right now I just wanna sleep.” Anaminé mumbled.

“Okay well I have to get up and ready ill leave the curtains closed.” Sesshomaru said then getting up, and kissing her cheek as he covered her up with their blankets.

Anaminé laid in bed asleep untill the alarm clock went off at 11. She yawned as she sat up turning the clock off and went into the kitchen and looked at the coffee pt and growled to herself. Sesshomaru had done it again left the coffee pot empty and she knew why to since he had discovered she was pregnant he wasn’t allowing her anything with high caffeine. She was in the middle of fixing some hot cocoa when Sesshomaru walked in. He walked into the kitchen and wrapped his arms around her smiling as her nuzzled her neck.

“I’m warning you now I just got up” Anaminé said in a agitated voice

“High amounts of caffeine is bad for the pup” Sesshomaru said

“Then you can complain when I snap at you when I’m not fully awake yet, prince lord of husband, I’m carrying your pup so I’m aloud to be a bitch if I want first thing in the morning” Anaminé said

“Fair enough, have you eaten yet” Sesshomaru asked

Anaminé took a sip of the cocoa and shook her head

“my stomachs still on edge so I was just going to have some toast the last thing I want to do is become sick at the doctors office” Anaminé said

“Okay” Sesshomaru began to fix her toast

Anaminé leaned against the counter watching him. She then looked down into the cup.

“you know Sesshomaru I was thinking maybe we could have the ceremony on new years I mean your father always has the new years party most of the lords come anyways and in that case I can invite all my friends and it would be a nice way to bring in the new year” Anaminé said

“We will have to ask my father” Sesshomaru said as he handed her a small plate with the toast and grape jelly on it.

It wasn’t long befor Anaminé and Sesshomaru was walking into the hospital. On their way to the elevator they bumped into Suikotsu.

“Anaminé, Sesshomaru, what brings you here is something wrong.” Suikotsu asked

They hadn’t informed anyone that she was pregnant yet.

“No I’m fine I just have an appointment” Anaminé said with a smile

“Oh I thought you had your last appointment here a few weeks ago” Suikotsu said

“Not that kind of appointment” Sesshomaru said flatly

“We have an appointment up stairs” Anaminé said placing a hand over her belly

Suikotsu’s eyes widened as he noticed Anaminé’s gesture.

“Your not” Suikotsu said

Anaminé nodded with a smile “yep and mister chilly over here is being more of a nervous mother than I am.”

Suikotsu gave a chuckle but cleared his throat when he saw Sesshomaru shoot him a glare.

“You will speak of this not anyone understood” Sesshomaru spoke

Suikotsu nodded.

“Come on Anaminé or we will be late” Sesshomaru placing a hand gently on her back guiding her into the elevator.

“Bye Suikotsu I’m sure all of us will get together soon.” Anaminé called as the doors closed.


Anaminé was lying back on the doctors table as they waited for him to enter the room for the ultra sound.

“I’ve really had enough of the hospital ya know” Anaminé said looking over to Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru nodded as he sat in the chair next to the bed.
Soon the doctor walked in with a smile. He was a tiger demon he had pale icy blue eyes with long white hair. With a black stripe on each cheek, his skin was fair he was about the height of Sesshomaru.

“Good after moon I am Dr. Ibi I am the Ob that is in charge of the demon pregnancies. So is this your two’s first pregnancy.” The Doctor asked

Anaminé looked down and took in a shaky breath “no this is our second.”

“Okay I need to know how long ago your last pregnancy was and how it went.” Dr. Ibi asked

“I lost it when I was two months along that was couple of months back” Anaminé said

“Okay I’m going to need to know if it use due to health issues so we can make sure that it doesn’t happen again.” Dr. Ibi said looking at her.

Anaminé wasn’t liking having to bring it up it was still a painful subject for her.

“She was beaten and wasn’t supplied with the proper nurturance.” Sesshomaru growled

“Okay and you are now in a situation where this won’t happen again correct?” The doctor asked.

“What do you want her whole life history?! It happened because she was kidnapped and pretty much beaten to death, now must we really big this up if you are going to make her relive things she doesn’t need to we can go someplace else!” Sesshomaru growled his eyes flashing red.

Anaminé placed a hand gently on his.

“I am sorry Mr. Taisho but I have to ask these kind of of questions to make sure she has a healthy pregnancy. I am sorry what has happened to you.” The doctor said with a sincere voice.

Anaminé nodded to the doctor.

“So I guess we should get to the ultra sound we wont be able to know the sex but we will be able to hear the hear beat” the doctor said

Anaminé smiled and held Sesshomaru’s hand as he stood next to her hand and moved some hair out of her face. They both looked at the screen as the doctor turned it on and then placed son cold jelly on her belly and put the wand of the machine on her belly and began to move it around. The doctor was a little shocked with what he had found.

“Well here’s the first heart beat, and there’s the second, and finally there’s the third.” The doctor said as he pointed out the three heart beats.

“W….What?” Anaminé said as her face went pale

“You’re having triplets, it’s not uncommon for dog demons to carry multiples but it’s normally just twins” the doctor said as he began to clean off her belly.

Anaminé looked over at Sesshomaru with worried eyes. He stroked her hair.

“It’s going to be okay” Sesshomaru reassured her.

“I would like to see you back in here after new years by then we should be able tell the sex since a dog demons gestational period is 6 months” The doctor said

The two nodded and Anaminé sat up and laid her forehead on Sesshomaru’s chest.

“I don’t know if I can do it Sesshomaru, carrying three at the same time I don’t know if my body can take it, and I’m going to be a cow” Anaminé began

“It will be okay if I need to take time from work I will, you and the pups are my first priority okay” Sesshomaru said lifting her chin with two fingers so she looked up at him.

Anaminé nodded as she stood up.

“I guess that explains why my pants are already becoming too tight” Anaminé said looking down

“Come on lets go have a talk with my father about the ceremony” Sesshomaru said placing his hand on her back and guiding her out of the office and out of the hospital.


Sesshomaru and Anaminé sat in the living room of his Fathers home there was a very large elaborately decorated tree, and on the coffee table sat a plate of cookies and hot chocolate. Anaminé sat on the couch her feet tucked up next to her as she leaned against Sesshomaru. Across them sat Izayoi and Inu Taisho. They had been there for almost a hour again and hadn’t been asked anything about her being pregnant or anything. Anaminé could see Inu Tiasho was just waiting for the moment when it would be brought up. Anaminé sighed to herself as she finished a last bit of a cookie she had been eating.

“These are really good ginger cookies Izayoi I should get the recipe some time” Anaminé smiled.

“Of course.” Izayoi smiled

“I can see you are getting antsy ummm Father….” Anaminé hesitated to use the word father it was still not something she was use to.

“And I know what about I’m sure as soon as I was at the door you could smell that I am pregnant.” Anaminé said moving some hair out of her face.

“Really?!” Izayoi squealed

Anaminé laughed and smiled some “oh yeah I am very very very pregnant”

“We have known for two weeks but we didn’t want to tell anyone untills her first doctor’s appointment which we just came from…. Anaminé is having triplets” Sesshomaru said coolly

Both Inu Taisho and Izayoi’s eyes grew big as smiles grew across their faces.

“So this means I’m going to grow very big very fast so I thought since during new years all of the neighboring lords are already at the castle that we could hold Sesshomaru and I’s ceremony all we would have to do is contact the Great Elder. And I might be showing some by then but ill still be okay to fit in a Kimono, and what better way to bring in a New Year than the Mating Ceremony of the heir of the west.” Anaminé said looking at the two who sat across from them and just as she thought their smiles couldn’t get any bigger they did.

“This is terrific we should celebrate champagne and cider.” Inu Tiasho said as he disappeared into the kitchen.

Sesshomaru rubbed his temple and sighed, Anaminé placed a hand on his thigh reassuringly.

Inu Tiasho then came back with three glasses of champagne and one with apple cider in it. He gave the apple cider to Anaminé they all rose their glasses.

“To happiness of Sesshomaru and Anaminé and to the healthy birth of their pups.” Inu Tiasho said

They all touched their glasses together and then took a sip of the liquid that sat in the clear glasses.

“Anaminé I would love to help you with the nursery and everything, its going to be able to get 3 babies in your old room thought” Izayoi said

“That’s why we will be moving into Anaminé’s parent’s house just after the holidays.” Sesshomaru said

Anaminé looked over at Sesshomaru in some shock he hadn’t said anything about this to her. Of course she was happy that she would be going back home but she really wish he would of told her.

“That’s wonderful your house is a beautiful home to raise a family Anaminé” Izayoi said

Inu Taisho nodded in agreement.

“Yeah but we have a lot to do in the next 6 months and befor that we have to plan for the ceremony that’s a little less than a month untill then and theirs Christmas shopping. I could really use Izayoi’s help since Sesshomaru still has 2 more weeks left untill school is let out.” Anaminé said

“Of course she will and I have a feeling Sesshomaru wouldn’t allow you out on your own anyways.” Inu Tiasho said

“Anyways I don’t want you out on your own not with you carrying my first grandbabies.” Inu Tiasho said with a goofy smile.

Anaminé laughed some “some times I really wonder your telling the truth about your age.”

Inu Tiasho laughed some “it all about the age of the heart my dear.”

“So we should start with your kimono because we will have to get that made for you” Izayoi said

Anaminé shook her head “no we wont, my mother kept hers so I’m going to wear hers, I think it would of made both of my parents to see me wed in the same kimono as her and it will be like having her there.”

Anaminé gave a small smile as the painting of her parents that was done at their ceremony.

Izayoi smiled as she place a hand on Inu Tiasho’s leg.

“I’m sure your mother would be honored for you to wear her kimono.” Inu Tiasho said

“Well we need to get back to the apartment I have to be back to work soon” Sesshomaru said looking at Anaminé.

Anaminé nodded and stood up with her mate.

“I’ll give you a call tomorrow Izayoi and we can start to go over things.” Anaminé said

Izayoi and Inu Taisho stood up and came over to her and they both gave her a hug.
“You stay safe and get rest okay and if you need anything at all and Sesshomaru isn’t there do not hesitate to call us okay.” Inu Tiasho said

Anaminé smiled and nodded.
