Chapter 20

“Let go of my mother and my brother! I’m the one you want!”

“I will, I will Inuyasha… that is after you open Pandora’s Box.” Meredith motioned on a box by his side.

“No Inuyasha! Don’t do it! We may be free after you open the box but think about the evil it may unleash! Freedom by then is not worth it!” Elvira tried to persuade Inuyasha.

“It would be best if you keep quite my sister.” Meredith said as the red crystal started glowing and sucked Elvira’s energy.

Elvira moaned in pain, the crystals stopped and her knees felt limp making her fall to the ground.

“MOTHER!” Inuyasha called out tried to go to her but was thrown again by the barrier. He scowls at Meredith “Meredith! Release my mother and brother at once, or I should be the one to do it!” white aura pulsed out of Inuyasha’s body revealing his seraphim form. Then red aura started to mix with white as Inuyasha’s claws and fangs became more pronounced, on his face appeared demon marks, one is very familiar to the Inu clan and that is the cresent moon on his forehead, his eyes turned crimson red. He has six wings and the feathers are a mix of white and red, he holds Reinigen ready to attack.

“Hmmm… interesting… your demon and god blood mixed quite harmoniously to make you look like this but are you sure that is enough to break the barrier?” Meredith quizzically said.

“It is enough to break the barrier…” Inuyasha’s unearthly voice boomed inside the throne room “enough to save my love ones and enough to kill you!” Inuyasha raised his sword and it turned to a staff of white ivory, it has a gold smiling crescent moon crown that has a floating white diamond shaped crystal in the middle engulfed in white searing flame. “From the book of white light I commend the spell that brought victory to goodness!”

Elvira heard Inuyasha’s chanting and remembered what it is. *the Ultima!* “No Inuyasha! Do not conjure the spell! You might kill yourself!”

“I cannot let that happen do I?” Meredith said he stood from his throne “the book of white light is nothing.” Meredith started chanting. “From the depths of the underworld, lies the power to overcome the power of light!” from beneath Inuyasha a black symbol appeared. “Now Inuyasha you will stop this foolishness… I call forth the same binding chains that hold banished gods! Chains of Tartarus!” golden chains came out from the symbol as cuffs locked on to Inuyasha’s extremities. Inuaysha’s turned back to humanoid form as the cuffs and chains became tattoos on Inuyasha’s body.

“No...” Inuysha fell to hi knees. ”You see dear nephew you are not the only one that came from a goddess… I too came from one... so conjuring powerful spells are nothing to me. Your powers are locked up now Inuyahsa… so you’ll be no match to me.”

“Inuyasha!”, “Prince Inuaysha!” Sesshomaru and Elixor called out from behind Inuyasha.

“Your saviors if I may presume?” Meredith said as he waived his hand. Something took hold of Elixor and disappeared, he re- appeared by Wystan’s side. Sesshomaru was able to get out of the hold and go to Inuyasha. “Are you alright brother?” Sesshomaru worriedly said.

“No brother… Meredith sealed off my powers. You better lave before-“ Inuyasha was stopped in mid speech as glowing white chains took hold of Sesshomaru making him weak.

“A purifying chain for the demon.” Meredith commented. “You know Inuyasha I was never called the Sealer for nothing.”

Sesshomaru hissed in pain as the chains burn his skin and suppress his youkai. He disappeared and re- appeared at Philander’s side.

“Now Inuaysha the fate of your love ones rest in your hands… or should I say blood.” Meredith humored himself. “All you need to do is open this box after which, you’re home free!”

Elvira: “No Inuyasha!” the red crystals glowed again and sucked Elvira’s waning powers.

Inuaysha: “Stop!” he balled his fists.

Sesshoamru: “Inuyasha!” the chains glowed brighter and Sesshomaru had to scream from the excruciating pain.

Inuyasha: “Stop!”

Elixor: “My prince! Leave now! Save yourself” as if swords from the air slashed on to Elixor making big gushing wounds, Elixor screamed in agony.

Wystan: “Prince Inuaysha! Listen! You can come back to save us but-“the same fate of Elixor happened to Wystan.

Philander: (using his telepathy) “Inuyasha! You need to escape now! Do not listen to him!” From afar Philander’s body convulsed.

Inuyasha: Philander!

“Trying telepathy? You’re very very tricky Philander.” Meredith said as he neared Philander ready to slash a sword on him.

“Stop Meredith! I said STOP!” Inuyasha bellowed.

“Finally come in to terms Inuyasha?” Meredith slowly faced him.

“Yes… I’ll open the box!” Inuaysha said in scorn.

“Good… you can come closer.” Meredith said as he waived his hand the barrier contorted and made a pathway to the box that is on a high pillar by Meredith’s throne.

Inuyasha slowly walked to the throne, he cannot hear his love ones anymore, and he just walked as if in a trance. When he reached the box he instinctively placed his hand above the box. Instantly a dark symbol appeared beneath him, an inverted star that has elven writings encircling the star. The box has a symbol of an inverted star with the tree of life behind it. On his palm traced the symbol and blood started to drip down the box. Inuyash’s face frowned from the pain even in his trance. His blood seems to have its own life as it traced the symbol, the symbole beneath Inuyahsa started to emit a red glow and moans of agony started to sound all over the place, thunder boomed outside and strong winds blow on the trees in the enchanted forest.

The Elven Capital City…

In the Elven Capital City, the sun slowly looses its shine and the protectors of the sun well screamed as the sun well’s water turned black. Jamima quickly rushed to the moon well taking to notice the suns fading shine.

“My lady! The sun well!” Essira called out to Jamima.

“Oh no… Inuyasha might be opening the box!” Jamima rushed to the sun well but was stopped to see Luna lying on the ground by the sun well.

“Grand mother!” Jamima rushed to Luna followed by Essira “what happened?!”

“The sun is being covered by a strong dark power that could only mean the Pandora’s Box’s opening.” Luna said weakly “The moon shares its power from the sun, and when the sun goes out I will too…”
“No I will not let that happen! There must be some way!” Jamima said “the great Oracle!, Essira! Bring my Grand mother inside and care for her.”

“Yes lady Jamima.” Jamima called for soldier to pick Luna up and got her inside the palace.

Jamima got inside the palace and went to the room where the tree of life was planted. “Teleportatum!” She re-appeared in front of a great wooden door that has the tree of life engraved on it. “I plead of you great spirit open the door to the tree of life.”

“I know of your intention young one… Enter.” The door cringed and opened. Inside a majestic garden is laid, short green grasses and flowers slowly drying up were seen as a golden majestic tree glows at the far end of the garden.

Jamima rushed to the tree as the doors behind her closed and the grass and flowers started coming back to life, she kneeled in front of it. “Oh Great Oracle I ask of you conjoin with the tree of life I greatly need of your wisdom.” Jmaima pleaded.

The tree’s trunk contorted and an old woman’s face appeared “young Jamima… get a hold of yourself… I know what it is that you seek.”

“The sun well has been corrupted… I don’t know what to do.” Jamima said in the verge of crying.

“Yes… I know young one and I know that the box has been opened, the dark power blocked the main source of pure energy which is the sun and together with it… is the moon.” The oracle calmly explained.

“What should I do?” Jamima looked at the oracle with pleading eyes.

“Take this fruit from the tree of life.” A branch from the tree came close to Jamima and motioned her to get a golden fruit. “Put it on top of the sun well and it will purify its waters.”

“Thank you Oracle.” Jamima stood and rushed out of the garden.

“but… it is only the elven lands that the fruit can protect I do not know how will the other lands protect themselves on the up coming… invasion…” the tree of life audibly said looking at Jamima as she rushed out of the garden.



In Murglor…

Inuaysha’s blood flowed from the box, down to the high pillar and on to the symbol where his blood made the symbol glow more brightly.

“Yes! Yes!” Meredith’s voice was ecstatic.

The moans became louder as spirits swirled around Inuyasha, a mechanism was heard inside the box, it sounds like a lock was being opened and Inuyasha’s blood continued on dripping down the box. The box slowly opens and a black shadow appeared in front of Inuyasha, It took hold of Inuaysha’s arm and bit on to his wrist making more blood rush out of Inuyasha.

Inuyasha screamed in pain but still in his trance. The box fully opens as spirits of demons came rushing out materialized and circled around by the symbol on the floor. Inuyahsa’s blood soaking a golden crown that has a main purple stone made of diamond in the middle that forms a sharp spear blade like structure, out of Inuyasha’s control his hand pressed on to the crown making more of his blood soak the crown. He was brought out from his trance; he screamed in pain and fell to the floor.

Meredith rushed in to the circle where the demons made way for him, looked at him and grinned. “The demons themselves know their master!” Meredith insanely shouted. He slowly walked to the crown picked the crown and placed it on his head, Inuyasha’s blood trickled down his face. “I can feel it! I can feel the raw power of the Lucifer’s crown! Ah- what’s this?” Blood started to drip down Meredith’s body it flowed freely covering him. Slowly the flow o f the blood gets stronger until Meredith was soaked in it. “WHAT’S HAPPENING?!”

“The true king arrives!” One of the demons announced and all the demons started howling and the moans from the spirits got louder and louder.

Meredith was sucked into the seal beneath him as dark light came from it.

Elvira and the other’s were set free, Philander now was fully awake because of the psychic shock done to him by Meredith together with Sesshomaru they sped to Inuyasha, Philander picked him up as they were about to go a demon stopped them.

“You cannot take him!” The demon attacked the both of them; it stopped midway and fell to the floor with a white arrow struck on its head. “Let’s go!” Elvira called out.

“Get them!” The demon that announced the king’s coming commanded. From the symbol a man with long straight black hair slowly emerged, he is handsome; he has black searing eyes and thin supple lips. He emerged naked with only the crown on his head. He has broad shoulders a muscular lean body and a fair complexion. He has something in him that makes him manly and very attractive.

A lady demon walked behind him and covered his body with a red luxurious cloth that has a golden Pandora’s Box symbol in it.

He spoke in a low manly voice “where is my… Inuyasha.”



Elvira and the others are trying to out smart the demons for them to escape. “Mother, we must face them head on!” Philander said carrying an unconscious Inuaysha.

“I need a diversion. I’ll call on the Oracle to help us.” Elvira said.

“We’ll give you that my queen, right Elixor?” Wystan looked at Elixor who nodded at the suggestion.

“very well.” Elvira said.

They stopped and faced the demons. The demons stooped “so are you tired of running?”

“You can say that.” Wystan said. He and Elixor stepped forward and made hand seals in synchronized manner.

“What are you doing? Do you kids want to play?” one demon mocked and humored them.

“Let’s see.” Wystan said and smirked. The elven royal symbol appeared beneath the demons.

“You idiot! That’s a binding-“one of the demons bellowed but was stopped mid way as they slammed to the ground immobile.

“Now Mother!” Philander signaled her mother.

“Great Oracle I call out to you.” Elvira glowed with white light her hair being blown up to the air by the aura coming out of her “I direly need your help!”

*Elvira?* the oracle called out from the garden of the tree of life.

*Grand mother Oracle we need your help!* Elvira pleaded.

*yes Elvira… I will help you.* the oracle stated humming; using the tree of life’s powers she channels a pathway for Elvira and the others from Murglor to the eternity garden.

Elivra and the others were encircled by elven characters that emits white glow. Lucifer appeared in front of the demons only wearing the cloth given to him. “Give me back my Inuyasha!” he stretches out his arm and red energy stared to focus in his palm.

*Oracle!* Elvira called out.

*just a little more Elvira* the oracle calmly said.

The energy blasted out of Lucifer’s hand towards them. *ORACLE!* Elvira called out

Elvira and the others were engulfed in blinding white light and an explosion came after. When everything settled half of the citadel was destroyed and they were no where to be seen, Lucifer smiled “Soon my Inuyasha… soon…” He turned around walked a way and waved his hand. The binding spells bing the demons broke and they stood to follow him.




In the eternity garden…

Blinding light appeared in front of the tree of life when everything settled Elvira and the others were seen lying on the ground.

“Elvira… my child, wake up…” The oracle called out.

They all woke up and stood except for Inuaysha. “Thank you great grand mother…” Elvira said and embraced the tree.

“It was nothing my dear… but how is Inuyasha?” she asked.

“Not good great oracle.” Philander said holding an unconscious Inuyasha, his skin was pale and his body was cold.

Sesshomaru smells a light scent of death coming from Inuyasha “He is dying! He lost a lot of blood! Can you do nothing great oracle?”

“Sesshomaru of the western lands… I know what you sense… bring Inuyasha in the nearby spring… he has the spirit of the elements in him… the water from the spring of eternity will heal him… hopefully…” the oracle said in slight concern

“What do you mean grand mother?” Elvira asked worriedly.

“You see the water will heal him, yes… but his spirit is dwindling… it will be up to him after he is healed.” The Oracle explained when suddenly Inuyasha coughed out more blood, everyone was shocked.

“Quickly now! Bring him to the spring.” The oracle said full of concern.

Everyone rushed to the well. Philander got in the water and set Inuyasha a float.
His hair spread across the crystal clear water as three if life’s roots came close to Inuyasha and touched him. Inuyasha’s color slowly became pink showing everybody that he is healing.

“There are more predicaments though…” the oracle called out to them “the sun well has been corrupted but your daughter Jamima is on it… the pressing event is… Lucifer’s invasion... the sun well can protect the elves but I cannot say the same thing to the other lands.” The oracle forebodingly said.
