Dogs

Kagome pouted at the new woman on her couch. It was bad enough having to compete with Ayame and Sango. This one made her feel even more insignificant. Inuyasha was acting like an idiot with a school boy crush. She wanted to smack the hell out of him and he had no beads anymore.

“So your mate needs new clothing.”

Sess looked up at a glowering pregnant woman who was in no mood to play with them.

“Do not take your hormone imbalance out on my mate Kagome. She has nothing else.”

Kagome frowned at her brother in law who annoyed her more than anyone else.

“I guess you should have thought of that before you brought her here only wearing one of your shirts. You say my husband has no tact, but you have no manners.'
"She is obviously uncomfortable and I am too. Do you Inu brothers have any idea on how to treat women? Oh, that is right Sesshoumaru you are both dog demons so you do not understand women whom you refer to as your bitches. Perhaps if you took five minutes to try to understand us you would have less problems then you do.”

Sesshoumaru frowned and Inuyasha looked at him pleading for his brother not to piss off his wife any more. It was bad enough having an hour argument about the beads, but having to deal with Sess in the house with a half naked mate was the stick that broke the camel’s back. Aveline looked just as uncomfortable with Kagome as Kagome was with her.

“Sess, she is tiny and perfect with a cute little pregnant belly. I hate you. You made me come here dressed like this to meet your family?”

Aveline stated frowning. Kagome finally got up and looked Sesshoumaru strait in the eyes.

“Did you ever think about taking her home to her own place so she can get some clothing that fits? We are in Japan, she has no cloths thanks to you, you idiot, and sizes are different here. She doesn’t speak Japanese and you are not taking her out of this house like that to go shopping.”

Sesshoumaru was about to argue when he looked at his mate.

“I may not speak Japanese Sesshoumaru, but I understand her point. Body language speaks volumes. Take me home like I told you to and then we can visit.”

Aveline stated getting ready to stand up. Sesshoumaru growled lowly.

“No, you are not going back home. I cannot take you back yet. It would ruin the whole plan and I am going to marry you here in my home country even if no one here agrees to it. I told Inuyasha that.”

Sesshoumaru snarled.

“Oh really, genius? What about my family or do they not count in your grand scheme? Oh that is right; you didn’t plan a damn thing. I have no fucking clothing and I am stuck living under a kidnapping tyrant. I see how this works.”

Kagome looked at Sesshoumaru not sure if she should laugh or whack him although Aveline looked like she just might do that herself.

“No, we are going to my castle. I am done arguing. I will find a tailor, your family will come even if they do not want to, and we will do things my way.”

Aveline started laughing.

“You are living in the wrong era. You cannot just go around ordering people around. That is not how things work anymore. What planet are you from? I mean get real.”

Sesshoumaru was ready to tear his hair out again. What the hell was wrong with women? Did they not know their place anymore? They were not supposed to argue, they were supposed to obey.

“You will do what you are told.”

Aveline growled.

“So you want to play that game again, I can refuse to have sex with you. I may not be able to battle you, but I can refuse that.”

Sesshoumaru was fuming as he pulled Aveline onto his lap and frowned at her.

“You will not do that. You will behave or I will lock you away again until you bend woman.”

Aveline snarled.

“Fine, but it won’t help you win you creep! Damn fucking jerk of a tyrant! You Fluffy Pinheaded Chauvinistic Cretin!”

Inuyasha knowing a little English repeated this off to Kagome as they moved away from the two demons now trying not to fall over laughing. Sesshoumaru met his match and his mate was hell on legs.

“I am not a Fluffy damn it all!”

Sesshoumaru yelled as he grasped his mates clawing hands as she tried to beat the hell out of him.

“You are too! You are a big Fluffy cotton ball perverted jerk! You don’t know how to treat a woman, you just know how to rule over people like a damn deity and you ain’t one!”

Aveline growled as both demons’ eyes glowed red.

“Why must you act like a little hellion? I thought Inuyasha was bad, but you Aveline make him look completely normal which is not possible.”

Sesshoumaru stated as he tried to keep his temper from exploding.

“You are right, no one with ears like his could be normal, but at least he is charming! At least he would not treat me like a fucking slave! He wouldn’t kidnap me!”

At that Kagome had to intervene.

“Tell her that you are nothing like that and you did kidnap me from my Mother’s house if you remember right since I was your fucking jewel detector. Do not make your brother look like the only Inu asshole in your family. I think my Mother would have beaten you to a pulp if it was not for your ears.”

Inuyasha nodded and smirked a bit. It was kind of a bummer to stop the fight since this was funny as hell and Sess deserved this.

“Aveline, I did kind of kidnap Kagome. It isn’t like she went on her own free will at first and we were fighting just like you two if not worse some days. Sess is trying and he is more of a gentleman then I could be. He is at least offering you clothing where as I had a thing for Kagome in her school uniform. There was just something great about it and I didn’t like her wearing…………..”

Kagome smacked Inuyasha in the back of the head. She understood a bit of english, she just did not speak it very well.

“She doesn’t need to know everything Inuyasha. I am certain she understands your and other perverted friends of ours fascination with my school uniform. It is not like she is some kid who has no idea what men do.”

Inuyasha frowned at his woman.

“That hurt bitch! What the hell?”

Rubbing the back of his head pouting because he couldn’t do a damn thing about this new punishment Kagome came up with when he was tactless; Inuyasha pulled a fuming Aveline off of a fuming Sesshoumaru.

“You can’t kill him no matter how much some of us would like you to Aveline.”

Sesshoumaru frowned pulling his mate back into his arms.

“I did not say you could touch her Inuyasha. You have your own bitch leave mine to me. We will work this out on our own. I will expect you both at the castle in a few days. Give us a week and I will not have that attitude in my home.”

With that Aveline was flung into the mokomoko to tie her up as Sesshoumaru lifted his fuming mate into his arms leaving the house as she called him a few new names he had not even heard Inuyasha come up with.

Inuyasha was pretty creative so this was amusing. Sesshoumaru would be damned if his own mate refused him and she would learn her place in his life like it or not.

Landing at the castle the servants looked warily at the couple who looked like they were going to tear each other to shreds. They were dismissed from the room and Aveline was left in the middle of a pile of feathers as they tore apart the room again. Sesshoumaru sat on the edge of what had once been a bed.

“We are doing this again?”

Sesshoumaru stated tired and frustrated.

“You are an ass so what do you expect?”

Aveline stated with her back turned not looking at him. She was still pissed off.

“I expect my mate to act like one.”

Sesshoumaru stated firmly trying to figure out what the hell he was doing so wrong. He got candles, romantic music, and a nice setting at the hotel. Did he have to do that every damn time? What the fuck did his mate want? Begging? He refused to beg anyone.

“No, I didn’t ask to be your mate and now that I am you are being a tyrant. Women do not act the same as you expect them to in whatever imagination you made up about how I am supposed to be. I am not going to kiss your ass or bend over backwards. I will not beg you for anything and if you don’t want me to have my cloths then I will walk around your castle naked. I don’t give a damn.”

Aveline did not look to see Sesshoumaru’s eyes go wide in fear.

“You will not do that!”

Sesshoumaru stated in fury as he shredded a pillow at the thought of anyone other than himself seeing his mate nude. Her charms were for his eyes only.

“I would if you do not do something about my attire. I want my clothing. How damn hard is it for you Mr. Teleportation to go to my home and get some things for me? Oh, that is right I can’t count on you to get things I need since you can’t even cook. How the hell can you survive like this? I mean were you born a spoiled brat because I was not. I had to earn everything I have.”

Aveline stated crossing her arms angry at Sesshoumaru for denying her one damn simple thing. He could go around floating for miles at the speed of light, but he couldn’t take her to get some clothing from her own home. He hadn’t even bothered to meet her family and they were getting married. Was the guy from Mars or something?

“I have earned all I have on my own. I was handed down a title, nothing more. All these things I inherited I could care less about. All of this, the things you see here I earned. This castle is mine and my inheritance is far from here. My Mother owns it all and she may have it. You will meet her soon enough.'
"You cannot meet my Mother in the clothing you have in your time. We have to make you clothing suitable for your meeting. Then we will go see your family. That is how this works. I am old fashioned, but I am not a complete criminal as you seem to believe. Perhaps you could have some faith in me since we are going to be together for a long time. Also you will not go around naked. I will not have that unless it is in my presence only or that of the midwife when you bear my pups.”

Sesshoumaru stated pulling his angry mate into his arms from behind wanting to make her understand him somehow.

“You do not love me so how the hell can you give me what I need? I do not even know you.”

Aveline stated frowning.

“That will take time. You will see.”

Sesshoumaru stated resting his head on hers after pulling her back to the bed he fixed with his spells making her sit in between his legs. She was so small and so stubborn.

“Why did you have to choose me?”

Aveline stated frowning finding it hard to resist holding her fingers over his clawed hands. Even when he was angry he was still very gentle.

Sesshoumaru had not scratched her on purpose or tried to hurt her even when she beat the hell out of him. He acted like that was nothing even though it had to fucking hurt him.

It was like living with a damn guilt trip when Aveline knew she should be running for the hills. The guy was a damn demon. It should be freaking her out, but Sesshoumaru was so damn handsome and soft spoken it was hard to stay mad at him for long.

“Because I wanted you, it is that simple. I do not hesitate when I want something. So are you still going to refuse to bed me?”

Sesshoumaru stated pouting as he laid his cheek against hers looking like a sad little boy.

“You are being very adorable with those puppy dog eyes and it isn’t fair. You know that Sesshoumaru.”

Aveline stated kissing his cheek. Sesshoumaru frowned.

“I am not a puppy.”

Aveline rolled her eyes at him. Sesshoumaru was a big puppy and he just did not want to admit to it.

“Fine, you are an ancient old man.”

Sesshoumaru laughed.

“Now you are being a smart ass. I like that.”

Pulling Aveline’s chin gently with his fingers Sesshoumaru kissed Aveline tenderly.

“Do not fight with me anymore Aveline, just let me have you. I will give you everything and anything you want. Do not refuse my bed and I will give you even more.”

Sesshoumaru already had seduced Aveline so she was not falling for this again.

“I already own you Mister so do not play that with me. Still I told you I would use you for your body so get naked before I tear your clothing off you.”

Aveline stated pushing Sesshoumaru over who smirked as the afternoon went from fighting, to moaning in a very short period of time. He was very pleased and would not complain as long as he got his way.

Sesshoumaru was rather easy to please and did not ask for much other then affection. He wanted to no longer be alone and even if Aveline was fighting with him it was better then being on his own.

Aveline did not know it, but she was making Sesshoumaru fall in love with her. Even the fights had become amusing and made him want her more. If she agreed with him this mating would be boring. This was a constant challenge and someday she would feel the same for him. Until then he would take all she offered and give her more in return until someday he won her heart too.
