Chapter 19:

A/N: There's going to be a bit of sex in this chapter. So heads up!

Inutaisha was pretty much in a good mood for the rest of the day. After kissing Kagoru she felt completely calm and smug as well. He had just helped her prove her point even more. That they were meant for eachother. After a day of no fighting, which seemed rather odd, the group decided to settle down for the night. Inutaisha led Kagoru away after they had set everything up.

"You've been a bit quiet today. You okay?"

"Of course. Just thinking."

"We better not wander too far."

"We need to be out here far enough."

"Why?" Before he could say anything else he felt her pin him to the tree. Not too hard, but hard enough to keep him still. Her mouth came over his as she kissed his lips softly. "Mmm." He groaned in her mouth.

"You don't mind do you?"

"Nope."

She smiled softly at him then pushed him gently to the ground and carefully straddled his hips. Her lips came over his, barely giving him time for a breath as their tongues entwined. Inutaisha pushed his coat to the side and pushed his shirt up over his head. Her hands gently pinned his shoulders to the ground.

Kagoru gently caressed her ears as she kissed along the column of his neck. He groaned softly then entwined his fingers in her hair. He felt her tongue lick down his neck and chest. Her lips soon replaced her tongue as she once again kissed downwards.

Inutaisha moved her fingers downward to unbutton his pants. "Wait."

She looked upwards to see his brown eyes stare at her own golden ones. "What is it?"

"I want you to know how much I love you and appreciate you keeping me safe. I know i'm not that strong as you are but I am going to do my best to keep you safe as well."

She gently kissed his lips. Her fangs brushed gently against the softness of his lips. When she parted she said, "You are very strong Kagoru. Never doubt it. How else would we have got as far as we have?"

Kagoru smiled then gently rubbed her ears. A soft growl emitted from her mouth as she softly kissed his lips once more. "Thank you Inutaisha. I love you and I am so glad you are mate."

"You're glad Kimi isn't your mate?"

"Of course. She's too bossy and arrogant."

Inutaisha couldn't help but laugh. "Really? You hadn't noticed?"

He pulled her face to his and gently kissed her. "Oh shush. Are we going to make out or not?"

Inutaisha ticked her head to the left as if she was mulling over his behavior. She then smiled and said, "Of course."

"When do you think they are coming back?" Kagome asked Inuyasha as they watched the fire.

"I don't know. It's going to be a while before we can have any leisure time so I think she is going to take her time."

"Do you think they'll be back in the morning?"

"Inutaisha won't keep Kagoru out too late. Don't worry Kagome. She knows what she is doing."

Kagome nodded then leaned her head against his shoulder. "I'm going to sleep. Hope you sleep well."

"You too Kagome."
