Yes, Rin is married to Shippo BUT she is still his ward and as such has to accompany him to events like this to show she us under his protection. How else would the new ruler know if she never meet the girl?
I am not much of an artist but i can draw a decent face (i guess) but i can not draw a body to save my life O.O.
