Two weeks later Sesshoumaru strolled back into the small club. Horns were blaring, the bass was low, but Kagome wasn’t the singer on stage.

“I’ve got you under my skin.”

In an odd way he felt disappointed, but pushed the feeling aside until her aura conflicted with his, sending tingles up his spine.

“I’ve got you deep in the heart of me.”

“Hey, stranger." Her muted black dress was alluring, but blended well with the décor. "Can I get you what you had last time?”

With a knowing smirk, he nodded so minutely that only someone who knew him could have caught it.

“So deep in my heart, that really you’re a part of me.”

Shortly after, he was encouraging her soft innuendos and led them to the side alley. The music spilled out from open windows as Sesshoumaru pinned Kagome against the dark brick wall; her head tilting back when he pushed the short dress above her hips.

He really didn’t know why he came back. In fact, he told himself that he shouldn’t, but it had been so long since anything gave him pleasure…
