Clean Up

Sesshomaru landed near a hot spring. He sniffed the air lightly to make sure no threatening scents were around. To make sure no one was around, he let out his demonic aura out fully for five seconds. This made all living things run or fly away from his current location.
Satisfied that no one was around he said, "Rin, you may get down now." Rin does so and looked up curiously at him.
"We both need to clean ourselves. I've fought a filthy wolf demon and you probably haven't been given a proper bath in some time am I correct?"
Her response was a nod.
"You must talk again. There is no need to be mute."
"Rin bit her lip, "I-I-I..."
"Go on," he encouraged. He didn't know why he was encouraging her, but he couldn't stop himself.
"I trust you."
This statement almost destroyed his stoic demeanor. Someone trusted him and it just happened to be a human child.
"I wouldn't be so generous in giving your trust to me."
"You are a demon, you don't kill for no reason. Humans do," she finished quietly.
"You believe I have no reason to kill you then?"
"I know you wouldn't kill me."
Sesshomaru looked down at the girl. He tried to come up with some reason to rid himself of the little girl, but something was stopping him. He began to have a mental battle with himself as he tried to will himself to kill her. However, seeing that he couldn't win against whatever was possessing him he relinquished his internal fight with himself.
"Undress, we shall bathe now," Sesshomaru instructed. The second that he saw her unclothed, he had been shocked to see the bruises and cuts that marred her small body. Something rose within him demanding he go back and kill those that had abused her. He quickly reminded himself that Koga's wolves had done that task for him, but that was of little reassurances to that part that was raging. It wanted him to return, revive them all with Tenseiga and kill them again.
Deciding to do something productive, Sesshomaru disrobed and quickly joined his new charge in the water. Knowing that those bruises weren't a sight that should be seen on her, he gently grabbed her and started licking. Rin started giggling as Sesshomaru's demonic saliva coated the abused flesh. Once finished, he took stock of her again and nodded.
"That tickled," she commented after she had gotten her breath back. Having nothing to add to her words, he finished bathing her and quickly cleaned himself. The pair eventually got out of the hot spring and redressed.
"My foolish servant hasn't caught up to me yet. Jaken will be punished for this."
"Where are we going?"
"To my home. I must consider my next move before proceeding."
Rin nodded and she was once again lifted onto his back and the dog demon took off towards the west.
'What is wrong with me?' he thought. Then, those last words that his father said to him came back. In response to that memory, he picked up his pace and continued westward.
