A/N what you need to know --- Kaito is a human who develops superhuman powers as a result of the demon plane hole opened by Sensui. He was a student at Meioh Private Academy where he constantly attempted to outdo Kurama for top grades.
The Makai story has been completed. Only real difference is that Yusuke came back to the human world after healing from the tournament rather then staying for a few years, any other changes who will be able to pick up on.
The name Yuuki is not a miss spelled Yuki here’s the site where I got the name and meaning http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/meaning_of_Yuuki.html
--The Story--
“Man high school just started and already I’m in trouble.” Yusuke said as he and Kuwabara walk towards the cafeteria. Kuwabara just laughed which earned him a glare from Yusuke. As they entered the cafeteria they headed over to Kurama getting shocked looks as they sat down at the same table. As soon as Kaito, Keiko, and Botan joined them most of the school was in shock. At their table they had 3 of the top students, 2 delinquents and a weird girl having lunch while talking and laughing.
“So any idea why the baby got us into this school Botan? And why are you here?” Yusuke asked to get Keiko off his back with her lecture. “Umm well why he wants us here I don’t really know, but all this was an order from his father.” That got all of them thinking, King Enma hated them since Yusuke developed his youkai blood. And the fact Yusuke, Kurama, and Hiei all had high ranking positions in the Makai make him hate them even more. Yet several days after the Makai tournament he took the bounties off there heads and even let Koenma offer them pay to work for him again. Apparently they had a business front in the human world which got them out of school without penalty, which helped out Yusuke quite a bit. Hearing the bell ring brought them out of their thoughts and had them heading back to class.
--Elsewhere--
It was strange she knew she was dead yet she didn’t feel it. Instead she felt more alive then ever before, even thou she was far from any true living world. She was glad however that she had managed to send a dream to those she knew, and hoped they got peace from the feelings she put into it. Somehow she knew she would see them all again even if not in life she knew they would meet, it was a feeling that filled her heart almost to the braking point.
Looking around the flower field that was her current residence she sighed in peace and smiled at the kit sleeping next to her. While not having a human form the little kit was always with her and brought her a great deal of peace. Thinking about this world was kinda strange it was always different each day. She has been in the bone eaters well clearing, the most beautiful forest she had ever seen, a tropical island, and many many more. The only constant was the house and her kit.
The house was a wonderful kind of strange, most everything was in earth tones. A living room completely furnished with a couch, love site, recliner, bookshelves, side and coffee tables, and a home theater system. While she didn’t get cable all her favorite movies and CD’s were there for her to watch and listen to. Decorating the room were pictures of her family and friends.
A kitchen any chef would kill for, every appliance she could ever think of was there. A double oven, microwave, a large 2 door fridge, toaster oven, and so much more. It was always fully stocked with all the things she wanted, so she could bake or cook anything she wanted. After reading and watching all the cooking books and movies she had she knew a lot about food. Of course the 20 plus years she spent studying and trying all of the recipes helped. In the dinning room not only was there a table with 4 chairs there was a breakfast nook and a china cabinet. The china cabinet held not only the standard tableware but several tea sets both western and Japanese. Some days there was a kotatsu instead of a table and always on the days she felt like being traditional.
Her bedroom was much like that one she pictured she would love to have when she moved out of the shrine. A queen size bed with blue bedding sat in the middle of the far wall under the window when you walked in. A nightstand sat on each side of the bed, each made of a rich colored wood. A desk and chair where she could write and study sat on the right side of the room, it too was made of a rich colored wood she couldn’t name. On the left side were 2 doors, the one closest to the bed was a walk in closet with more clothes then she ever thought she’d ever own. One side had clothes of her time that always fit where she was that day. On the other side was more traditional clothes such as kimono‘s and Yucatan‘s. Each side held everyday, night, training, and fancy clothes.
The other door held the bathroom. The bathroom was one she thought only hotels and mansions had. On one side of the room sat a large jacuzzi tub with several types of massaging for the jets. A shower with a glass door, adjustable temperature control, and a seat making shaving and washing easier. On the other side other the room was the toilet, and the sink set in a long counter. Built into the counter next to the sink was a vanity the held makeup that she rarely put on. The mirror took up the entire wall.
There was also an extra room that’s purpose was different every time she opened it. Sometime it was a dojo, other times a studio where she could paint, draw, and sculpt. Some days it was an empty room. Sometime into the 1st year she figured out that the room was dependent on her wants, when she wanted to train it was a dojo, when she wanted to study plats it was a garden. The books in the living room were like this too, always changing into what she needed to have for what she wanted to do. However things only changed while she slept. Having lost track of time she simply spends her time learning and taking care of her kit.
Since the 1st day she appeared here her kit had chased away the feeling of sadness. The little kit she had named Yuuki, meaning tender hope; precious help, was barley bigger then her palm when she had first seen her, now she was about half the size of an adult kitsune. Yuuki’s coat was almost completely black with ice blue markings. The markings are just below the tips of her 5 tails, around her neck, each ankle, and on the tips of her ears. When looking at Yuuki‘s coat she thought of light shining on ice in the dark, bright in the middle and fading back into the darkness at the edges. She also believed that Yuuki chooses to stay small just to be carried around, not that she minded overly much. Yuuki brought her hope and peace and when she holds her she could swear she feels her friends.
--Human realm--
The school day was over and the shock from lunch was almost gone till several students made it known that Shuichi was having that same group come over to his house to study. The group ignored the other students as they left towards ShuichiKurama’s house. The student body had several theories going as to why Shuichi, Keiko, and Kaito would hangout with Yusuke, Kuwabara and the weird girl Botan. 1st was that it was Keiko’s doing as she appeared to be going out with Yusuke and friends with Botan, 2nd was that Yusuke and Kuwabara were making the other 4 do their work, and 3rd that Shuichi was really one of those suave crime bosses that no one could believe to be a crime boss and that Keiko and Kaito were helping and that Yusuke and Kuwabara were the muscle and Botan just followed along. The teachers thought that Shuichi, Keiko, and Kaito were tutoring the other 2 and helping Botan who seemed to have never been around real people before.
The teachers somewhat right, Kurama with Kaito’s help tutored Yusuke while Keiko and Botan helped Kuwabara. After finishing their work Kaito said goodbye not wanting to get evolved with other world stuff after all he did promise Genkai to stay away from it. Keiko said goodbye as well needed to help her parents out at work. The other four waited for Hiei to show to see if he heard anything about what King Enma was up to. They didn’t have to wait long Hiei arrived soon after Keiko had gone.
“So Hiei have you heard any news on King Enma’s sudden kindness towards us?” Kurama asked. Hiei merely shook his head and sat on the window sill looking out. “Well I don’t know why he’s being nice to all of you, I do know that something big is again happen.” came Botan’s voice. Everyone looked over at her, while she had an inner debate on how much too tell. Looking up and realizing she had everyone’s attention she sighed.
Yesterday I heard Koenma talking to King Enma. While I didn’t hear everything I did hear some. Apparently someone that died long ago is going to be coming back to life soon. Whoever this person is, they are very important. I heard King Enma say that even he wasn’t allowed to do anything to this person, and was ordered to leave them alone.” Everyone froze momentarily at that, Enma had been ordered! None of them could think of a being that was able to order Enma. While he had to obey and couldn’t change certain laws, such as free will, there was no higher being in spirit world… right?
As they thought of what they just learned in a world far removed from theirs was feeling a change in the air. Soon everything would change and nothing would or could stop it.
