"Did you hear Yuko? The prince is coming

here! Along with Jyunii-chan."

Kagome squeezed through the mobbing clouds of women waiting for their

favorite guest, Jyunchi and his company. 'How will I even be able to work

around here? I can barely get past their oversized chests!' She groaned as

she finally reached the counter of the Red Lantern Brothel. The counter had

several interesting objects on it; a jade cut bear stamp, a quill pen,

various books and potted plants. 'Hmm… at least the plants look

conservative…' Kagome gingerly thought.

"Hey!"

"Kah!!" Kagome

clutched her jumping chest as her eyes settle on a very busty female behind

the counter.

"Hi, sorry for the scare. My my my… you sure look

dirty" the lady pinched her nose.

"I'm Kagome and I'm here to see

Yuko-sama. It… is a private matter"

"Not in those garments you're

not! Girl you look like you've been sleeping on dirt!"

"I have been…

." Kagome depressingly looked down. "If I don't speak with Yuko-sama now I

might not even have a shelter over my family's head."

"Now now. There

will be no tears while I'm on duty! I'm Yuko's twin sister, Yuki. We

basically run the brothel together. Her business is my business-(whispers)

heh not to mention on the bed-So how can I help you?"

"Ehh?! What was

that last comment?!" Kagome was shocked to say the least. 'Did she just

say-'

" 'she slept with her twin sister?' Was that what you were

about to say my dear?" Yuki had a playful evil glint in her eyes. Kagome

was even more baffled now.

"You can read minds?!"

"Yea! Yuko

can use her telekinesis and I'm a telepath but I can't control my powers.

It comes when it does. What can I do you for?" Yuki diverted Kagome's

question of her being a lesbian. 'Truth be told my girl, you are looking

very very delicious' Yuki mentally smirked.

"Oh, I'm in financial

debt to Yuko. My father owes Yuko 4000 yan. I have to repay her by 1 moon

or something awful will happen!"

"Your father fell for her 'double or

nothing' deal didn't he? Well, I can tell you for a fact now that we don't

have any positions open. Our brothel is as full as can be. I'm sorry

Kagome. I think you'll need to find another way to repay Yuko." Yuki set

down her quill and began existing towards the stairs.

"If you want to

talk to her, follow me… Kag-go-me" she rolled Kagome's name in a playful

flirt. Kagome blushed and hurried after Yuki up the elaborate

stairs.

Yuki gently knocked on the wooden door to the brothel's

office.

"Yuko, darling I've brought someone to see you" Yuki nudged

Kagome into the office with her.

"Yuki, we seem to have a problem"

Yuko didn't bother to look up and didn't notice Kagome standing next to her

sister at all. Yuki walked next to her twin and sat seductively on her lap

with the slit of her kimono stretched as high up on her upper

thigh.

"What is it Yuko?" she nibbled her sister's ear as her hands

caressed Yuko's back.

"Now now Yuki, we can do this later. But we

have a serious problem right now. Jyunchi is bringing a special guest with

him tonight. The western heir, Sesshoumaru-sama is to be wed to the Eastern

Nekos by the next full moon. Jyunchi specifically requested a virgin for

tonight to serve the western heir…"

"… and our problem is that none

of our courtesans are virgins" Yuki finished.

"Right you are my dear"

Yuko gave a gentle brush with her lips on Yuki's. Kagome felt her heart

jump. She's never experienced such intimacy firsthand. Of course she has

chest.

"Gomenasai sister dear…. I will make everything up tonight."

Yuko winked and Yuki gave off a satisfied grin. Kagome fidgeted nervously

as the mention of lesbian intimacy came up once again.

"Ano, I'm a

virgin… maybe I can help serve the prince tonight in return of letting my

father's debt go."

"HAH! You are not worth 4000 yan my girl! Don't

make me laugh! However, you aren't half bad looking. You might be decent

"Kagome, you are tend to the prince's EVERY whim. If you

are told to bed him, you bed him. If Sesshoumaru-sama leaves happy, you and

your father will only have to pay 2000 yan, his original interest was

Kagome, welcome to the Red Lantern Brothel as one of us, a courtesan. You

do look quite dirty my dear, you will have to be bathed by one of my maids"

Yuki and Kagome entered the room where Kagome was to stay in.

"I can

bathe myself Yuki-sama, I don't need another-"

"Sango!" A lady of

Kagome's height, slightly taller rushed in dressed in a simple white and

red kimono.

"Hai, Yuki-san may I be of use?"

"Yes, this is

Kagome. She is to be Sesshoumaru-sama's server tonight. Make sure she's

sparkling clean and prepared. I can only trust you for this Sango-chan, do

your best!" Yuki gave a friendly pat on Sango's shoulder and winked at

Kagome before she took her leave.

"Well, let's get started! You look

very dirty, Kagome-sama. Would you like rose petals in your bath?" Sango

rushed into the private bath chamber and began preparing for her

bath.

"Please call me Kagome, there is no need for formalities. As

for rose petals, it's your choice, I do not see the difference if I bathe

with it in my bath or not." Kagome began stripping her grimy clothes off

and entered the tub.

"Kagome, the rose petals will sooth your mind

and nourishes your skin, all of the courtesans demand them. You should

definitely try it! But if this is your first time, it may be too strong for

you… You can try some Jasmine petals; they do the same thing and is softer

on your skin. Also your clothes can't be worn again; I'll have to find you

a new set. The brothel colors are red and white, but since you do have a

special guest, you can choose any color you want" Sango happily chirped and

sprinkled some jasmine petals in the wooden tub where Kagome

soaked.

"Then, do you have sapphire shades? I haven't worn those

colors for a long while already. My, these jasmine petals are very pretty

and they smell wonderful. I do prefer these to roses." Sango took some

jasmine scented hair soap and began to massage it into Kagome's

hair.

"Wow Kagome, there's so much dirt in your hair, it's like you

haven't bathed in weeks"

Kagome embarrassingly looked down and

watched as she wiggled her toes underwater.

"I haven't Sango, I

couldn't. I'm too busy working to give myself any luxury. I'm only staying

for tonight, so I can get some extra time to pay off my father's debt to

Yuko."

"Wow Kagome, you're so brave. I can't believe you dared to

negotiate with Yuko. She's one tough cookie! Kagome, you have to rinse your

hair and dry off while I go look for a sapphire kimono for you. By the way,

you look pretty without all the dirt" Sango rushed out of the bathing

chamber and out of the room to the Clothes storage. Kagome stepped out of

the tub and wrapped a soft tan town around her torso, she grabbed another

towel and began drying her hair. Luckily for her, her locks were light

enough to be completely dried after a few minutes or so. Kagome walked

towards the mirror stand and looked at her reflection.

"I look decent

now, hopefully."

"KAGOME!" Sango barged into the room holding a

extravagant sapphire kimono.

"Kagome I found the perfect kimono for

you. It really makes your eyes stand out! Come, hurry take off that towel,

I'll help you put it on" Sango laid the kimono on the bed and began to help

Kagome into the first base layer of the kimono.

The first layer was

in a light cotton in pure white with no designs. The next layer was silk in

a shade of blue as light as the clear sky with several sakura branches and

falling petals stitched at the hem of the sleeves and the bottom of the

kimono, however the length was several inches shorter than the first layer.

The final layer was a translucent fabric as soft as silk in the color of

sapphire, the sleeves of this layer were longer than the previous and the

length came to a bit lower than Kagome's knees.

Sango took a pastel

colored obi, across the obi horizontally was a strip of sapphire petal

design; and made it into a darari-musubi bow. The ends of the bow draped

loosely onto the end of the floor, touching it slightly as she

walked.

(MS: One of the first wide obi bows seen was the

darari-musubi. It was a large, flowing, loosely tied knot that was

worn with furisode by Kabuki actors and courtesans)

"Kagome, you look

so pretty in that kimono! It suits you perfectly as well! I also found a

pair of gold getas you can wear. They are absolutely beautiful!

"Come

Kagome, we have to put up your hair, sit at the dresser, hurry we won't

have much time!" Kagome scurried to the dresser and sat patiently as Sango

tied her hair in a lose messy bun and took a chinese hairpin and slowly

weaved it into her hair. Sango grabbed the silver jeweled forehead tiara

and placed it underneath Kagome's bangs.

"Here Kagome, put on this

set of sapphire silver earrings while I get some makeup for you" Sango

handed her the earrings and went to look for the make up.

"make up?

Sango, I don't want to wear makeup it's so hard to keep it in tact." A

knock came and entered Yuko and Yuki. Their eyes widen as they saw Kagome's

reflection.

"Wow, Sango did an amazing job. Kagome you look

absolutely stunning!" Yuki skipped over and wrapped her arms around

Kagome.

"Very well done. Sango, what are you doing?" Yuko

questioned.

"I'm looking for make up to put on Kagome, Yuko-

sama."

"No need, her natural beauty shouldn't be covered by makeup.

Kagome, come, the guests have arrived." Kagome felt her stomach churn as

she slowly followed Yuko and Yuki. Before she left the room, she mouthed

Sango a thank you. Sango grinned widely and waved goodbye to her new

friend.

"Jyun, we have waited here for

a few minutes, why is there no one greeting us?" Miroku scowled. "I thought

you knew the owners of this brothel!"

"Patient, Miroku, here they

come" Jyunchi nodded to the stairs. Yuko was first to descend, follow by

several other courtesans. Yuko lead the girls to Jyunchi's

group.

"Milord Jyun, my finest courtesans are at your command" Yuko

bowed low flashing her well endowed clevage.

'Whore…' Sesshoumaru

thought. The courtesans walked towards their customers. Yuko went to

Jyunchi's side, two courtesans went to Miroku's side, one went to Kouga,

and another to Inuyasha.

"Yuko, aren't you missing someone for

Sesshoumaru here?"

"No need, this Sesshoumaru is not interested in

your kinds" Sesshoumaru coldly stated and mentally smirked as the shiver

his voice brought to the females. Before Yuko can say a word, Yuki emerged

to the group with Kagome shadowing behind.

"Forgive me for intruding

milord Sesshoumaru, this will be your server tonight. We heard you were

coming, and found a female suitable to your tastes. She is indeed a virgin,

milord" Yuki bowed and stepped next to Jyunchi's side as he put his arms

around her and her sister's waist.

Kagome kept her head bowed low and

gently greeted her first patron.

"Milord Sesshoumaru, how may I be of

service?"

"Sesshoumaru, no fair! You have a beautiful virgin while I

have a courtesan! Care to trade?" Kouga bluntly said as the red hair

courtesan at his side frowned.

"No." Sesshoumaru could only muster

out that word clearly. His mind was hazy as her jasmine scent and her milky

tan complection and her dark raven blue locks intoxicated him. 'By Kami,

she looks beautiful'

"Girl, what is your name? Look at me when you

are speaking" Sesshoumaru said fluidly but filled with no emotion, giving

off an unsatisfactory look. Kagome felt her heart drop as she heard his

tone. 'He doesn't like how I look, I can't pull this off anymore, I'm not

beautiful enough for him… I don't even know how he looks like…' Kagome

lifted up her head, and opened her eyes.

"My name is Kagome

Higurashi, Sesshoumaru-sama" Kagome's sapphires blue eyes met his piercing

golden hue.

'By Kami, he looks like a

god…'
