While throughout the day Kagome was happy as a clam, Inuyasha on the other hand was not. His belly tightened up as the hours clicked by. He knew something wasn't right. He did notice that Rin seemed to be around Sesshomaru a lot lately, but hoped he was her tutor or something.

Everyone had seen the change in Sesshomaru's behavior towards Kagome on top of everything. It made them want to bite him or something.

Inuyasha knew there wasn't a damn thing he could do to stop Kagome from going over there. He remembered the very first time he saw her, it had been love at first sight...

***Inuyasha's Flashback***

Finally it was his fathers birthday and he was on edge. Sesshomaru had decided that this was the night he was going to finally introduce his girlfriend to the family.

He didn't know overly much about the girl his brother had chosen. He knew she attended Sesshomaru's school and was around their age.

Since Inuyasha and Sesshomaru weren't on the best of terms their parents decided to send Inuyasha to another school. It had always been this way and he didn't mind. He found that it was more comfortable this way.

He had noticed that his brother wasn't as cold as he seemed to be and wanted to meet the female that made the difference in his life. She had to be something special for Sesshomaru to actually speak to him in the hallway before school, he had even told him that he was acceptable as a brother. In the two weeks that Sesshomaru and this girl had been dating years of resentment and hatred was washed away.

-Who could have that type of effect on Sesshomaru?-

He knew he was about to find out as the doorbell rang.

He reached the bottom of the steps as the door closed behind a girl.

Brown eyes looked up at him with a smile on her soft lips.

"You must be Inuyasha, I'm Kagome. It's a pleasure to meet you." Kagome said.

***End of Inuyasha's Flashback***

Inuyasha sighed.

That same night he had asked his father if he could transfer to Sesshomaru's school. It had shocked everyone, but he knew his heart couldn't take being away from Kagome.

The first thing he did was befriend her and they have been friends ever since then.

One thing for sure Inuyasha knew was that unrequited love sucked ass big time!

RGVEDA: I adore you already! I hate cheaters as well, but that may have to do with the fact that my husband cheated on me... Who knows? It is a Sesshomaru/Kagome story though so we'll just have to wait and see what happens next.

I already finished chapter five! It would be nice to see Inuyasha get the girl, but it is a Sesshomaru/Kagome story... Sorry! Maybe I'll write an Inuyasha/Kagome story soon.
