Chapter Two: The Sanctuary and The Things That Go Bump
Author’s note: I have decided to change something things about my fanfic, that way it would be more understandable. I also have recently read the book ‘Acheron’ by Sherrilyn Kenyon, which everyone should own, and have made some alterations to go with my fanfic. Keep in mind I do not own the Dark-Hunters, Sherrilyn does. Which beings me to the changing of the previous parings, that I have come up with, due to the fact that many people do not know about Savitar, and the new parings are now Styxx/ Kagome, Ash/ Kagome, Styxx/ Mia, and Ash/ Mia. Savitar will still be a part of the fanfic; I will post up information on Sherrilynn’s characters for references. Lastly, if this fic goes well, I may write a fanfic just for Savitar. Sorry and thanks again for being patient.

Chapter Two: The Sanctuary and The Things That Go Bump
Mia sat at the terminal that Kagome would be exiting the plain from, looking around the airport she took note of the family’s that were reuniting and felt sick. Her twin brother had destroyed everything that she’d held dear, Lucien had massacred their parents, her husband and her triplet boys, who where only six years of age, and last her new born daughter of only two months. She knew of her brother’s loathing for her, but she’d never thought that he’d be so heartless as to take it out on her defenseless children; all because he blamed her for having nothing. She had spent the next year killing any and all that crossed her path in a blind search for vengeance, that was until Zeus found her and took her in as his own child and made her the Goddess of Death, next to the true Lady Death. Athena had taken it upon herself to train and educate Mia, Athena and Aries were the only two other Gods that actually got to know Mia. Artemis did nothing but torture her mentally and physically, leaving Mia no love for the bitch Goddess. Artemis had horribly scared Mia’s back, when she’d found out about the pet Artemis had kept. The memory of the beating echoed through Mia’s, causing her too shake her head trying to shake the on coming rage building inside of her.
“Mia!!!” Kagome’s voice tore Mia from her nightmare-ish memories.
Looking at her friend, smiling slightly in her normal ‘Devil may care’ tone, while ignoring the throbbing in her back, “Hey, Chick….. How was the flight?”
“I hated it…… Made me restless….. How’s your back?” Kagome asked noting Mia hiding her pain.
“I’ll live….. Let’s get your stuff, change and I’ll take you some place that you can wine down.” Mia shrugged lightly getting up nonchalantly stretching before sticking her hands into the pockets of her black and blue bondage pants.
“Sounds like fun…. I’m in.” Kagome nodded and followed Mia to the luggage pick-up place.
After getting Kagome’s things to Mia’s rather big house, they unpacked and began changing. Kagome wore tight black leather, hip hugging, flare pants, with a light green spaghetti strap tank top and black plant form boots. Mia wore a pleated knee high school-girl bondage skirt, a black corset, which covered the scares on her back, black fish-net stockings and black knee high combat boots. Smiling at one another, both girls headed to Mia’s car while grabbing their respective purses, and headed to the best bar in New Orleans, the Sanctuary.
“We’re here….. I should warn now. There’s no violence in this bar what so ever. This is a place where everyone can go and hang out in peace. It may be a little load but the people here, most anyway, are cool.” Mia parked the car and looked at Kagome, “Also, remember the diamons?”
“Yeah…..”
“They sometimes come here, but they won’t attack us here. They wouldn’t dare.” Mia stated lightly, “If they do, they will be eradicated on sight.”
“Ah….. Okay. How do you know this?” Kagome asked lightly.
“Let’s go…..” Mia’s lips twitched lightly and got out of the car, without answering.
Rolling her eyes lightly Kagome got out of the car and followed Mia, after Mia locked her car, into the bar greeted by heavy smoke and load music…….
Ash sat at his usual table with Savitar, having one of their ‘talks’ (rare, yes, but it happens). Both Ash and Savitar froze as they felt two strong power sources enter the bar. Looking towards the door they both saw two of the most beautiful women they’ve ever seen. Savitar’s mouth dropped for a second, only a second. As for Ash, he just stared unashamed. Both then noticed that every single diamon in the bar was staring at the two women like they were a walking buffet. One of the new comers glanced around and whispered something in her friend’s ear and the feel of two strong power houses disappeared. The second woman smiled sheepishly as the first just raised a brow and shook her head.
“Who are they?” Savitar asked Ash, not asked, more like demanded the Atlantian.
“I don’t know…. I can’t read either of them, but I think that I might recognize one of them, but I can’t place were….” Ash stated in agitation at not being able to read the to mystery girls. Normally the leader of the Dark-Hunters could read almost any body, but himself, those that he cares for and those that would play a part in his or those he cares for futures……
As Mia and Kagome moved to the bar, Mia noticed that the younger diamons were still staring at her and Kagome. Making sure Kagome stayed close to her, Mia spotted the one person she’d never thought to see in a life time, Ash. Pausing slightly Mia noticed that Ash and the man sitting next to him staring at her and the Miko. Mia remembered when she’d first met Acheron; he’d been beaten severely by Artemis, for pissing her off.
“Mia, what is it?” Kagome asked noting Mia suddenly tensing and followed her line of sight and blinked.
“I……Never mind…… Let’s get a drink……” Mia stated dryly, turning from Ash and his friend, continuing her way to get a really stiff drink.
“Mia….. Two guys with blonde hair, blue eyes and sharp fangs are coming towards us.” Kagome warned lightly.
“Great……. Vodka straight up…..” Mia told the bar tender before turning to the on coming threat, after receiving her drink and quickly downing it like a pro…..
The Petliers noted the diamons circling the new girls, their mouths practically drooling, as if the girls where the best thing in existence. The first one called ‘Mia’ apparently was annoyed at the diamons. Mamma Lo (who was behind the bar) looked at her mate, who nodded and altered the perceptions of the humans’ minds (the ones that didn’t know of their world), then looked to Dev, who grabbed the two would be attackers and drag them outside for a ‘talk’.
“Thank you.” ‘Mia’ turned to Mamma and smiled apologetically, “All my friend and I wanted to do was relax…..”
“It’s alright, Cher…..” Mamma smiled lightly
