Her sapphire eyes gazed over the battle field and then to the sky which was not blue it was black with arrows flying down like rain,
Kagome sat up in a flash she wiped the sweat from her forehead,
"It’s just a dream" she sighed to herself
She got up and got dressed she unzipped the tent she had brought from her time and stepped outside she was greeted by the cold chill off the night.
she had not put shoes or socks on she was in too much of a daze until the cold prick of wet grass hit the gentle bottoms of her feet she walked round gazing at the night sky until she bumped in to something no someone, Kagome swung her head up to see to amber eyes looking at her with warmth.
"Kagome what are you doing up so late" said a warm voice almost like a humming growl
"I’m fine thank you Inuyasha " she replied smiling as she took a new steps back and looked around "is anyone else awake" she asked looking around slowly tacking in all the splendour of the night
"I think that Sesshomaru may be around but that’s it" Inuyasha said almost spitting out his half brother's name before jumping up a tree "I’m hitting the hay night Kagome" he said before drifting off to sleep.
Little did Inuyasha know but Kagome and Sesshomaru have been secretly mated for about a month now and Kagome loved it
