My Fair Wolfy

Inuyasha looked at the wolf who was eyeing him over and over again with distrust. Kouga huffed a few times as they walked not used to not talking as Ginta and Hakkaku finally caught up with them.

“Hey, Inuyasha you are here. Cool. We were wondering when you were going to show up.”
Ginta stated with a wide grin. He liked Inuyasha even if the guy was pushy. Inuyasha was strong and would keep Kouga busy rather than making them chase her around all the damn time. The two of them would scrap and that would give the tired wolves a break.
“Ya, thought you were going to go through the well with Kagome.”

Kouga frowned and then spoke up.

“No, we couldn’t be that lucky. Instead he decided he is going to be my new advisor and if either of you say anything about my new voice I will kill you.”

Ginta frowned and Hakkaku who didn’t know how to shut up spoke up.

“Hey Kouga, that is great! You found your intended mate. Now you don’t have to hide anymore.”

Kouga growled and punched Hakkaku in the face.

“Who said I wanted to be his intended you jerk! That is all this pack needs! Another damn Inu demon becoming the Alpha and taking over us all! That was the point of my secret you idiot!”

Inuyasha frowned and thought about things. It really wasn’t very fair to assume Kouga would just bend over and let him take over her pack. Still, how would the wolf explain her voice? Not to mention the fact the smell of her heat coming off in waves making him almost forget to pay attention to the road they were walking on?

“Kouga, I don’t think we should head back to your pack until your heat is over with. It would cause more problems than good and it will give us time to figure out what to do about your voice.”

Kouga was in shock that Inuyasha was for once thinking before he spoke. It was totally unlike the guy.

“I don’t go back to the pack until it is over. Do you think I am insane?”

Inuyasha shrugged and then looked around for a good place to camp. It was already getting dark and it would do no good for Kouga to be out smelling like she did. It would bring demons here and he knew he had quite the fight tonight.

“We need to find shelter and soon.”

Ginta stated shivering as he noticed the sun going down. Kouga always acted tough, but things were different now and they were not safe.

“Ya, I think so too.”

Inuyasha stated getting the hint and walking next to Kouga he looked at the wolf seriously.

“You and the others need to go find shelter now. I have work to do if you want to keep your secret. Don’t go acting all brave right now unless you really do want to show what you truly are.”

Kouga growled, but Inuyasha took off before she could give him what for. What a jerk. Now Inuyasha was going to be totally different and all over protective like her pack mates. Ginta and Hakkaku never left her side unless they felt Kouga could care for herself at the time.

“Don’t worry Inuyasha, we will watch over things from here!”

Hakkaku yelled to the half demon as Inuyasha took off into the trees disappearing as fast as he came out. Ginta looked at Kouga with a bit of worry in his eyes.

“Losing your voice like this couldn’t come at a worse time Kouga. The pack is in need of a good leader so we need a plan. Why don’t you consider taking up Inuyasha’s offer? I mean it isn’t that bad and you two are so much alike…………”

Kouga growled at Ginta and Hakkaku looking daggers at them both.

“The whole damn point of my hiding my gender was so that another damn Inu dog wouldn’t take over the pack and now we are going to have that happen. I promised on my parent’s graves, on our brother wolves graves, and to the pack I would always protect them. I am to be the ruler, not Inuyasha. It would be an insult to wolf demons to have a half demon and especially an Inu take over. It would be like allowing Naraku to live again.”

The frustration was building in Kouga. Sure she thought Inuyasha was beautiful. What woman didn’t and what woman didn’t fall head over heels for his brother too? The Inu demons were always glorious and that was one reason that the wolves fell for them every damn time. It wasn’t fair and Kouga would be damned if she let attraction come before duty.

“It wouldn’t be like that Kouga………….”

Hakkaku tried to intercede as he really was tired of having to keep her secret for so damn long. It was tiring to always run from the pack rather than with them like wolves should do.

“How would you know? You are not the one who has to live up to all the standards the elders expect me to. I am supposed to be a male and that was bad enough on my parents. As rulers I was supposed to be their heir and I was the only one of the litter that lived after the wars. I am all that is left and I cannot just let go of my position. I made a vow.”

Kouga hung her head and balled up her fists looking into the night then she howled sadly as tears fell. She would be a shame and she could not ever go back now. How was it even possible?

Inuyasha watched from the tree tops as the lower demons started lurking toward the female he was going to claim and her wolf pack. They were not even worthy to touch or bother with really. Unfortunately though he didn’t have the patience to deal with them later so better to kill them now.

“Half demon brat………..”

A hiss came from below him.

“We can ssssssssssmmmellllllll you.”

The demon hissed as the lizard tongue came out of a humanoid demon man with long green hair and a face of a snake. Repulsive as usual and Inuyasha would have to wash his hands again after he was done with this rabble. The creature brought a few slithering friends with it.

“What, you think that bothers me? Something as low as you are is not even worth my time, but since you are in my territory you will die.”

The demon laughed.

“You are weak foooooooooolllll. You have nothing to offer a full demon. Go crrrrrrrawwwwwwwlllll in the hole you came out offffffff.”

Inuyasha cocked his head to the side and then cracked his knuckles.

“Why do I even bother, still can’t have you causing more problems in my lands.”

A sound was heard and a light whip flew across the trees cutting down even the one that Inuyasha was in slaughtering the demons where they stood.

“My, my, my little brother. You talk big for one who owns absolutely nothing. Still, I can’t have anyone bothering you or they might say I did not care for the heroic young half breed who calls himself my brother. Why are you here in my lands Inuyasha? I thought I told you to run.”

Inuyasha jumped down in front of his tall elegant brother.

“I don’t run or didn’t you figure that one out Sesshoumaru? What the hell are you doing here? Dallying with the rabble or just slumming since you had nothing better to do?”

Sesshoumaru sighed and rolled his eyes at his little brother.

“No, I came for you since I am responsible for your well being and for your stupidity as well. Mother will not have you fornicating in her lands or mine when there is work to be done. You have lands too or did you forget that? Oh, that is right you lost them to me since you were a fool. Still I am bringing you back since Mother will not let me alone about you wandering helplessly on your own as if I give a damn.”

Inuyasha frowned. Sesshoumaru was always treating him like a little kid. Damn it he was an adult now.

“Look I have fucked more women then you and I am not coming back to play host to the damn courts. I will not change my behavior no matter how many times you try to beat it into my head.”

Sesshoumaru smirked.

“Oh, I know that Inuyasha. That is why I am here because I enjoy that part of taking you home. Still you are coming so either you can come with me quietly or I can hurt you again knocking you senseless. Now that I have two arms again I do not believe this will be an issue.”

Inuyasha growled.

“I am protecting someone.”

Sesshoumaru smiled widely.

“Oh how cute, have you found another human little brother to humiliate our family with? I do not think that will save you today. I am in no mood for argument and you are not mating a human. That is final or have you not figured that one out yet. You are still a Prince and I will be damned if my little brat brother who is at least a decent half demon in strength even if not in intelligence is going to dally with more weak humans.”

Inuyasha was grabbed by the throat and then Sesshoumaru smelled the air.

“What is that lovely smell?”

Sesshoumaru stated breathing it in as his eyes went red.

“She is mine you asshole! Let go! I am protecting a demon wolf female.”

Inuyasha struggled in Sesshoumaru’s iron grip kicking Sesshoumaru and thrashing as Sesshoumaru ignored him as though the pup was nothing to him since he did not budge.

“Really, demon wolf female? How did you, a half demon not even worth my time get yourself a demon wolf that smells like this? Not that I will allow you to have her anyway. You are to be mated and we have found your match.”

Inuyasha looked shocked as he was dropped to the ground.

“What the hell do you mean hooking me up with some jerk I don’t even know?”

Sesshoumaru smiled widely.

“Oh, you know this person well. Still, we shall investigate your dear new friend. I must have something better then you to occupy my years and heaven knows I am not sleeping with you.”

Inuyasha looked confused.

“What the hell are you babbling on about?”

Sesshoumaru in a bored tone answered the question with that same cold look in his eyes except this time they had some humor in them.

“Oh, you are to be my mate Inuyasha, but mates do not have to be intimate so do not concern yourself. As if I would dally with a half demon. Mother and I just did not want you going outside of our species again.'
"I have no interest in pupping you as if that were possible and I do not like anyone Mother tries to force me to mate. So, we decided since there is no real need for any heir since I plan on ruling forever that you will be my mate.’
“You see Inuyasha it is perfect for us both. I don’t have to chase you around wondering if you are embarrassing our family, I can still kill anything that annoys me except you, it is a way I can accept you as part of my family even if your blood is tainted, and best of all I can beat you any time I wish to.’
“This will benefit you as well since you will not have to run and hide any longer. You will actually have a home with demons who will teach you how to be one even if you are only half and you are strong as well as attractive. I am sure we can find women to occupy our time with producing heirs, be them bastards or not for our kind with me deciding who you can fornicate with.”

Inuyasha frowned at this.

“You are not funny. That joke is not even good. It is stupid even for a guy like you that has no sense of humor. Put me down.”

Sesshoumaru shrugged then pulled Inuyasha to him biting his mating mark on his neck causing Inuyasha to howl in pain.

“Let me go ya fucking weirdo!”

Sesshoumaru then threw Inuyasha to the ground.

“There now my part is done. I have pleased my Mother and pissed you off. It has been a much better day for me now. Get up mate.”

Inuyasha looked at his neck that was still bleeding.

“You prick! You bit me!”

Sesshoumaru looked down at his mate with distaste.

“Hn…….yes I did. You taste terrible too. I will not do that again.”

Inuyasha looked slightly offended and at the same time he was pissed off. He leapt from the ground and attacked Sesshoumaru claws flying as Sesshoumaru held his little brother’s forehead watching him do this futile attempt of trying to kill him. Ever since he locked away Inuyasha’s tessaiga after killing Naraku it was like Inuyasha was no longer a threat to him at all.

“I am going to kill you!”

Sesshoumaru smirked at that.

“You may try, but mates cannot kill each other so stop it.”

Inuyasha refused to so Sesshoumaru punched him in the jaw knocking him out.

“What a bother and to think I have to let him bite me. Me, Lord Sesshoumaru having to have a half demon for a mate, even if he is pretty he is not worth this hell. Mother better be right about this and this should solidify the will so that I get his lands and anything else Father left him. The only downfall is I am not allowed to kill the brat. Father and his damn vows that he made me swear to.”

Throwing the pup over his shoulder he wandered over to where the great smell was coming from. Why not at least investigate to see if it was worth pursuing?

“Kouga, come on and try to see the bright side of this. Now that Inuyasha knows your secret you can have a true mate and not be alone anymore. I know it is hard, but the pack loves you. Do you not think the wolves have told on you yet or are you really still that stubborn?”

Sesshoumaru stopped after hearing the voices shocked that the smell was coming from the direction of the wolf Prince.

“So the wolf has a secret. Perhaps I shall take them as well to force such things out of them. Prince Kouga is my subject and has no right keeping secrets from his Alpha.”

Dumping Inuyasha roughly on the ground Sesshoumaru slowly let some of his poison seep through his claws allowing it to drip on the ground creating a mist of toxic gases that would not affect Inu demons. It would however be enough to knock out the demon wolves making them easy targets. All he needed was the wolf Prince. There was no point in the others.

“Kouga…………..”

Kouga growled and then panicked as a thin mist of white flowed over them.

“It’s poison…………”

Was all Hakkaku got out before he and the others passed out cold onto the ground. The deadly gas was always a good way for an assassin like Lord Sesshoumaru to capture then interrogate prey unless they were human. Then it would just kill them.

“Yes it is…….. Hn………..this scent is coming from you Kouga. I shall have to find out who you are hiding in your pack as it is up to me to deflower any bitch who smells as good as this. How dare you a mere wolf pup hide her from your Lord.”

Inuyasha got up from the ground shaking his head, but not in time to see the fist coming at him again that knocked him back out. Sesshoumaru lifted his cargo into his arms easily teleporting them back to the castle.
