I thought I lost you

q/a: Princess Sin: the polo shirt and trench is just to make a fashion statement of some sorts… I never meant it to make known of a time period… I’m sorry for that confusion, the trench coat is for the elite forces of the elves which Inyasha heads.

About the mom and Elvira thing… I have to keep it in suspense because it’s in the story… I hope I can put it up in this chapter.

And about the pronoun mistakes oh… I’m so sorry about that… I got confused with that… damn computer… It can’t make out a he or a she! Wahahahaha! Projection?! Hope this chapter can clear things up… and oh! Thanks for the review! I really appreciate it.

Chapter two



They appeared at the main hallway of the palace. Big white marble pillars the circumference of a sequoia tree adorned with golden vines line to lead to a titanic golden door engraved there is the royal family seal. The door opened ever so slowly and when it had fully opened a majestic fountain was seen adorned by the light of the sun, it beams light to the sky. It is the sun well, it keeps evil from entering the capital city but at night it gets its power from the moon. It glows with the light of the moon even at night of the new moon. Four medium size trees square the fountain. They are tryants that stays stationary unless an evil spirit tries to corrupt the well. In the tryants live powerful ethereal druids that play around the fountain.

Elvira appeared followed by royal soldiers: from swords men, archers, and magic users and the lamp bringers. (Lamp bringers are sign of royalty; they usually hold on to the lamps and lead the queen’s carriage or whoever royalty to their destination). The lamp bringers lead the royal entourage to the queen’s carriage as Elvira turned to see her youngest coming to her.

“Inuyasha! I thought my youngest won’t bid me farewell. I was thinking that maybe my youngest doesn’t love me anymore…” Elvira said in a dramatic theatrical manner.

“Mother… you’re acting more like Jamima again…” Inuyasha sighed.

“Where do you think I would get that attitude?” Jamima appeared with little distance to Inuyasha with her arms crossed.

Inuyasha froze and was in dread with what to follow. “Oh! my younger brother is so adorable!!!” Jamima lunge to Inuyasha and kept him in a deadlock embrace. “do you really love me like that?! Oh!!! I love you too!!!” the hug got tighter and Inuyasha is starting to feel palpitations in his head.

“Ja- mima… need- air!” Inuyasha tried to plead.

“What was that brother?” Jamima said still keeping Inuyasha in a deadlock.

“Continue that Jamima… and I’ll have to prepare for a royal burial… for your beloved young brother.” Philander appeared by a pillar and said in a monotonous voice as he neared his mother to bid her farewell.

Jamima looked down at a blue Inuyasha “OH!!! I’m sorry Inuyasha!” She released Inuyasha and almost immediately Inuyasha tried to inhale much needed oxygen. Taking deep breaths when saying, “Do you have to hug me tightly?! God Jamima! You can just stab me in the heart if you want me dead and I’d be happier with that!”

“Oh I’m sorry Inuyasha… I just can’t stop myself… cause you are so adorable… oooh!” Jamima said as if talking to a baby.

Inuyasha blushed with what was said and pouted to his mother. Only to realize his big mistake as two hands lunged to his cheeks. ”This doesn’t end does it!”
“Aw mother! Stop it!”

“Oh! Sorry dear… I can’t stop myself…” Elvira said as she released his abused cheeks.

“I someone would say Jamima and mother am not related I’m going to kill them!” Inuyasha mumbled to himself as he nursed his abused cheeks.

Elvira’s protector Shenaah appeared behind Elvira. She has blonde hair in a bob, she has green emerald eyes and a pale complexion, her lips is blood red. She wore a golden choker with a big diamond adorning the middle together with a white swords man’s armor fitted to a woman but instead of a sword she has with her a white staff adorned by a floating red diamond engulfed in fire.

“Queen Elvira… the carriage is ready together with the soldiers and the lamp bearers.” Shenaah said monotonously.

“Reminds me of Elixor.” Inuyasha said to himself and looked at Elixor by a pillar. He smiled at him and Elixor just looked back. “Yup! Definitely Elixor”

“I have to go my children… I’ll see you in a week.” Elvira said. Philander approach her mother and kissed her in the cheeks. “Have a safe trip mother.” Philander said as he moved away to give way for his siblings.

“May the goddess lay her hands upon you and lead your way.” Jmaima said kissing her moms cheeks and gave way for Inuyasha.

“Come back home safe mother.” He said as he kissed his mother. As he moved away he was assaulted by a hand that once again attacked his cheek. “Aw! Mother! Don’t you ever stop?!”

“Sorry dear, for good luck…” Elvira chuckled and turned to leave. With her back at her children, “Oh! Philander the capital is in your hands. Jamima, the palace and the sun well… and Inuyasha…” he turned to look at her youngest “Try to stay away from trouble… follow your older siblings they do want what’s best for you.” She smiled at Inuyasha when he pouted. “Try that again and the Iron pincer will show itself again.” She turned to the door and walked out to the steps as she got down from the steps she chanted “from all that is good… I ask the elements and to those who can hear… protect my children… especially my beloved youngest… Inuyasha” the tryants hummed and the dryads stopped dancing to bow at the queen affirming that they heard what she asked. When she got down her final step she looked back again at her children… “I’m going to miss that pouting face of my Inuyasha! I better get this over with.” She turned to get in the carriage followed by Shenaah. As the door closed with a thud the carriage pulled by unicorns (yes Unicorns are alive well to the elves they are… they don’t have wings though… cause I believe only Pegasus has such.) half circled the well to the main path to the main gate of the palace.

“Now to go back to some needed rest.” Inuyasha walked away back to the garden.

“Inuyasha” Philander called on to him.

“Yes?”

“See me at the study.” With that Philander disappeared.

“What’s wrong with him?” Inuyasha questioned audibly to himself.

“I guess it’s about the lands… you know him… all into politics…” Jamima said as he walked beside Inuyasha.

“I can’t blame him… he’s next to the throne.” Inuyasha commented. “Well I guess he’s going to send me to another mission or something… he really loves tormenting me!”

“I don’t know about that… he loves you more than me and mom does.” Jamima said playing silly.

“Love?! Jamima you have a twisted meaning for love! When you love someone you can’t stay away from him, you always want to see him, you son’t send them to near impossible missions! “

“How do you think you became as powerful to be the head of the elite force? I can’t do anything about your superficiality dear brother… you’ll just have to figure all this things out. I need to get back to my lab.” Jamima said and turn to her wing of the palace.

“I still don’t get you…” Inuyasha said not acknowledging that Jamima left him.

“Oh inuyahsa! ...” Jamima called.

“What?” Inuyasha turned to look at Jamima.

“After you’re done with what Philander wants you to do… go to the lab… you still have lessons to finish from healing spells and medicine.” Jmaima said and teleported to her lab.

“Oh yeah… I forgot about that…” INuyasha said to himself. “I’ll be there after my errand…” Inuyahsa said in telepathy.

“Make sure of that! Now go! You don’t want to keep Philander waiting.” Jamima replied.

“teleportatum.” Inuyasha appeared in front of a large two wooden door. “Philander. Brother, you called for me.” Inuyasha said in statement.

“Come in Inuyasha” Philander called on to him from inside.

“Inuyasha opened the door and walked in. the room was very spacious shelves of books lined the alls and in the middle is a large wooden medieval desk. Behind it is a throne like chair where Philander was seated looking at some papers. Philander looked up at Inuyasha and gestured for him to sit at the chair at the side in front of his desk of his desk. Inuyasha complied.

When he was seated a man with a hooded brown cloak appeared.

“Wystan.” Inuyasha acknowledged.

The man removed his cloak. Long black hair in braid, and black eyes with white complexion that seemed pale, he wore brown light armor that covered his trunk, beneath he wore white long sleeves and his hands have brown leather gloves. He wore with tight t fitted pants tucked in his knee high boots. He has a white bow at his back.

“Good morning prince Inuyasha.” Wystan smiled hospitably at Inuyasha. “I hope your doing well.”

“I’m fine Wystan, how have you been dwelling? I hope my brother is not pushing you like he does to me.” Inuyasha teased. Philander flinched at that.

“Oh no my prince, lord Philnader is most considerate.” Wystan glanced at his master and back to Inuyasha “How is Elixor if I may ask, dear prince?” Wystan said smiling at Inuyasha.

“He is most fine… he’s with the elite force waiting for me.” INuyasha smiled back at Wystan

“Ahem…” Philander cleared his throat.

Wysatn and Inuyasha looked at Philander with questioning eyes a bit annoyed that they’re chat was interrupted. “Very much alike…” Philander sighed mentally. “How is the border lands Wystan?” Philander said in monotone.

Wystan mentally shook his head to come into focus. “I’m sorry for that Lord Philander.” The room’s ambiance became serious “the scouts have spotted a demon of regal position in the border lands.”

“Demons?! The mortal enemies of elves.” Inuyasha said to himself audibly.

Wystan nodded at Inuyasha and continued “we suspect that this demon came from the western lands.”

“The Inus…” Philander hummed.

“How did you know?” Inuyasha questioned.

“I knew because I gave a great deal of concentration in my studies, most especially in political science.” Philander said monotone insult.

“But I excell in my magic, my archery is at great precision! And I can rival you in battle!” Inuyasha scowled at Philander. “What a brat...” Philander mentally rolled his eyes.

Feeling the ambiance getting hot, Wystan interjected. “Well you see prince Inuyasha, the Inu demon clan reigns over the lands of the west. They say that the royal elves and the royal Inus are of distant relatives because they much look alike, especially when the Inus are in humanoid form. What gives away the demon features are the markings they have but all in all they look like royal elves, from the ears, hair, oh… I forgot the eyes… they have golden to amber colored eyes… a bit like yours.” Inuyasha tensed a bit, and Philander flinched from what Wystan said.

Wystan realizing his mistake “No puns intended my prince! Yours is much color of the sun. But the inus are one of the strongest of the demons… the reigning demon of the clan is Lord Sesshomaru successor of the late Inunotaisho.”

Philander feeling his brother’s distress, “Wystan!”

Wystan flinched from the sudden outbursts. “I apologize my lord” he looked at Philander and to Inuyasha “I apologize my prince.”

“It’s ok Wystan… I understand that you get into verbal diarrhea…” Inuyasha lightened up.

“Wystan. Is the Lord Sesshomaru alone?” Philander said in monotone.

“No my lord… he’s with a frog demon a human girl and a two headed dragon.”

“A human girl?!” Inuyasha said in surprise.

“Where is the probable destination of the group?” asked Philander

“The capital city my lord.” Wystan said seriously.

“Inuyasha…” Philander looked at a smiling Inuyasha. The smile that can bring shivers to those who see it. It only means death to those who can see it.

“I know what to do Philander… Don’t worry about me…” Inuyasha got up from the seat and walked out of the room.

“Finally! Some action!” Inuyasha said to himself.

“Inuyasha.” Philander said in telepathy.

“Philander?”

“Sesshomaru is no walk in the park. He is a powerful demon.”

“Don’t worry Philander… I can kill him… and I’ll be back in no time.”

“I don’t want you to be stubborn Inuyasha! If you can’t defeat him retreat! I don’t want stubbornness and foolishness to take away my brother!” Philander said in annoyed tone.

Inuyasha was speechless. “Inuyasha.”

”Inuyasha!” Philander called out angrily that made Inuyasha come out from his daze.

“wha-“

“INUYASHA! Do you understand!” Philander said exasperatingly.

“Yeah! Yeah! I’ll l do what you say!”

“Come back to the study… I’ll give you something.”

“But I’m already half way to the-“

“Now Inuyasha! NOW!”

“Alright!... telepoortatum…”

When Inuyasha appeared Philander was in front of him holding out a sword.

“Reinigen?” Inuyasha looked at Philander with questioning eyes.

“You can have it… it is forged by the gods and goddesses…it has the power to purify demons as its name means, it’s other powers is for you to discover… It is usually passed down to the eldest of the royal elves.”

“Then why?”

“After it is passed down to me… it is of my own discretion to what I will do with it.” Philander said looking intently at Inuyasha. “Maybe by this… I can also show you… that I am happy that you became my brother… and I treasure you more of my life, and even if you think I don’t feel anything for you, that all I do is to torment you…”

“I forgot! He has omnipotent skill!” Inuyasha said to himself.

“Even if that is what you think I always do… I love you… my dear brother.” Philander said as he embraced his brother and tied the sword to his hips. “Please do keep that in mind.” Philander moved to meet Inuyasha face to face. He gave Inuyasha a soft chaste kiss on the lips… “Inuyasha… come back to me soon…” he said as he moved away “teleportatum.” Philander teleported a dazed Inuyasha in front of his elite force army. Be safe… my yasha” was Philander’s last word of telepathy.

“Reinigen protect my brother… my beloved.” Philander said to himself.


“Prince Inuyasha.” Elixor called on a still dazed Inuyasha.

Inuaysha mentally shook his head and gave a regal authoritative façade to the army. The army has the same clothing as Inuyasha and Elixor but the difference is they wore all white. The red signifies Inuyasha’s authority and the black Elixor’s second to authority.

“The five generals of the elite force will stay here in case an attack is launched. I only need 7 soldiers. 3 swords men, 3 archers and 1 spell user. I will meet you at front gate.” Inuyasha announced.

“teleportatum.” When Inuyasha appeared in front of the gate Elixor and the 7 soldiers are ready to move. “Let’s go men.” With that Inuyasha, Elixor and the soldiers appeared like blurs.




In the mountain lands…


On top of a mountain peak is a white grandiose castle covered with snow. Elvira is in front of a big two wooden door with the royal family seal. A tree sprouted from the floor, the trunk took the form of a woman.

“Queen Elvira… the oracle is expecting you.” The dryad started singing. “hashna… mashna… aaaaah… hashan… mashna… hohhhaaaa….” the door started to open.

“Thank you guardian.”

“It is my pleasure my queen. You may enter.”

Inside, pillars lined a hallway to a throne, sunlight from the ceiling lights up the throne where a majestic tree is planted. Around the tree is a lawn of low grasses and flowers.

Elvira approached the throne “Great oracle… I… Queen Elvira… is here to ask of your wisdom…”

The tree started moving and contorted to form a face of an old woman.

“It has been a long time Elvira… my child… what is it that you wish to ask?” A mellow and ethereal sound echoed throughout the room.

“It is about my youngest… my Inuyasha…” Elvira said worriedly.
