It took them ten minutes too reach the camp limits, then Sesshomaru stopped and pointed

"There is a lake there with plenty of medicinal herbs; we are right through the trees. Come when you are done his aide."
Then he promptly left, Inuyasha was not sure what too do. On one hand, he could take the offer and be stabbed in the back for it later. Though he had said he was not there too hurt them. On the other hand, he could leave. Shippo would have to suffer longer though, not an option.
When he got to the lake, he noticed that some rocks formed an abstract bathtub Shippo's size. Looking around he saw herbs that would help sooth and heal Shippo’s cuts. Once Inuyasha gathered the herbs he dropped them beside the rock and felt the water while holding onto Shippo he whispered

"This cold water should feel good on your cuts."
He took Shippo's clothes off and put him in the makeshift bath. Preoccupied caring for Shippo’s wounds, Inuyasha did not see a little green demon sneaking up. Until Shippo began, too cry and squirmed away

"Hey?! Shippo what's wrong?!"

"What are you doing here?! You filthy half breed!"
He whirled around eyes glowing red and teeth elongated, he advanced on Jaken who shook in fear. He grabbed Jaken's cloak and ground out

"I was allowed here, unlike you. Coming here and disturbing Shippo, I should kill you."
With all his strength threw Jaken through the trees.

Rin was startled when something flew into camp creating a dust cloud then she saw it was Jaken

"Master Jaken! What happened too you?!"

"He intruded where he should not have. Grab the new blanket Rin, our guests will need it."

"Yes my Lord."

After he got rid of the green pest, Shippo calmed down again. Taking off his haori and placing it on the ground. He picked up Shippo and put him on the cloth. Next thing he had to do was the herbs. Noticing this time that the wounds were all over the boy's body

"Oi, this is going too take a while."
Once done spreading the herbs he carefully looked at his work and wrapped the boy up, then headed to Sesshomaru's camp.

Everyone looked up at their arrival making him stop briefly. Walking he sat down by the fire and Rin came up to him unsure

"Lord Inuyasha?"
Inuyasha's eyes bulged at the comment and he stared down at the girl with his mouth open

"I'm sorry."
The girl pouted apologetically but Inuyasha laugh

"No it's ok. No one has ever called me `lord' before except Myoga."
Jaken who had just recently regained consciousness spat

"With good reason he doesn't deserve the title!"

"You be quite master Jaken or I'll hit you into the ground!"

"*laughing* I like you kid you got spirit. Shippo would like you probably too if he wakes in time too meet you."
He ruffled the girl’s hair making her giggle

"Oh ok, but this is for you."
Handing them a light blue and soft looking blanket

"Thank you, Shippo does need this right now. But can you turn around so I can wrap him up?"
After she did turn around, he quickly looked around camp and seeing no one else was looking. Again, he put Shippo in the blanket the same way and said

"Ok Rin I am done now."
Throwing the mangled and wet clothes on the ground

"What happened to his clothes? He can't wear these; let me go get him some new ones?"

"That's not up too me. You have to ask Boss man over there."
He pointed at Sesshomaru; she skipped over to her lord and asked

"Lord Sesshomaru may I go and get him some new clothes?"
Nodding, he spoke before she got too excited

"Only if Ah-Un comes with you; and you are careful when buying, no talking to strangers."
She nodded and waited for a silver piece. Running she took the shirt and pants before taking off on Ah-Un. Staring dumbstruck, Inuyasha shook his head and rocked Shippo

"I hope she doesn't get in trouble on our account."

"Inuyasha. You said if the boy was awake in time too meet her. Do you intend too leave?”

"...Well yes, I really didn't expect you too help. I thought you would try finishing me off, in my moment of weakness."

"I did invite you here, did I not?"
He did not know what to make of this situation, Sesshomaru silently laughed at his brother's face

"You… You mean you actually want me too stay?"
Inuyasha stared at Sesshomaru's emotionless face

"Well I, I guess we could stay. Maybe it will be good for Shippo too have another kid around."
Pleased at the response Sesshomaru leaned against a tree. Annoyed when the kit started crying and mumbling

"No! Stop it! No! Please! Don't!"

"Shippo you’re just having a bad dream, it's alright."
Despite all his usual calming methods Shippo kept on crying, holding onto Inuyasha as if oblivion was calling

"Don't! Please! Don't hurt them! No! Your family?! No! How could you?!"
Inuyasha was beginning too get scared. This was not a normal nightmare the boy was having, Inuyasha pleaded

"Sesshomaru? What's wrong with him? What's he talking about?"
The stare Inuyasha gave him was so pitiful it almost felt like it would break his heart, but he just did not have an answer

"I am not sure Inuyasha."
What happened next gave everybody a shock; Inuyasha started crying and nearly ripping his hair out in his distress

"Come on Shippo. Wake up, please!"
Grabbing the kit's left paw in his clawed finger, he felt Shippo squeeze. He started shaking the little paw and continued too beg

"Wake up Shippo, you need too wake up."
Finally, the kitsune's eyes opened and he spoke sleepily

"Inuyasha?"

"Oh Thank Kami! You scared me Shippo."
Inuyasha wiped his red and puffy eyes, surprised when Shippo asked

"Who's Souta?"
Inuyasha's breath caught in his throat, looking down at Shippo. He blurted out the first word that came too his mind

"Shit."
Everyone's eyebrow rose at that, Shippo quietly asked

"What's wrong?"

"That's her brother, how’d you know his name?"
Shippo closed his eyes for a second with a ‘hmm’ noise, then almost jumped out of Inuyasha's arms

"Oh!! It was horrible!! She showed me stuff!! She.. She..!!"
But the kit wouldn't continue and started crying again, gently Inuyasha goaded

"She what Shippo?"

"She was killing her family. Right in front of Souta leaving him till last. Then she cut off one of his fingers. She still had a jewel shard so instead of coming back; she put it in the finger and threw it down the well."
Sickened. It was the only way to describe the group as they heard the young boy's tale. Inuyasha took in a ragged breath

"Ok Shippo I need you too stay here, rest some more and I'll be back. Be good alright and don't worry your safe here, they are our group now."
Taking a glance around the boy merely nodded

"I have to go now Shippo but I'll be back before dark."
Chuckling softly at the confused stare he bent down, putting the boy close to the fire

"How do you intend too fight her when she has that power over you?"

"Simple I'll get Kiaede. She was the one that put it on; she can take it off."
What he did not tell Sesshomaru, was the hopefully part

"And if she can't?"

Damn it!
He shrugged

"I'll have too find Kikiyo"
With that he took off too the village. Once he got there, he sniffed Kiaede out and barged into the hut. She gave him a look of surprise when she saw no Shippo

"Inuyasha what can I help ye with? Where is young Shippo? Is he alright?"

"Enough questions! He’s fine. I need you too take this thing off me."
Grabbing the necklace for reference, she looked at him quizzically

"Why?”

"Because after that psycho bitch went down the well she started killing her family!! She leaving her brother till last!! She cut off his finger and threw it down the well with the jewel that was left on her!! I am going too finish the wench off and bring him back here!!"
Kiaede was white as a ghost; she could not believe that the girl would kill her own family. Standing she walked over too Inuyasha; who tensed, but let her near.
With one simple swoop, the necklace was off and scattered everywhere across the ground

"Bring the boy back to me. So I may fix his injuries."
A nod was all she got, before a red blur went out the door

"I never would have guessed she would go mad. First Shippo now killing her family. Let the boy be safe till Inuyasha arrives and hope all of them can heal from this."
With a sigh, she looked at the horizon.

Inuyasha was at the well in a flash, jumping through the well. He grabbed the finger on the way and stuffed it in his haori, so no demon could take the jewle. Once he was on the other side, he gagged at the amount of blood in the air. Bashing through the door he ran in, almost screaming at the sight. Seeing demons massacred, was nothing to this.
What was left of Kagome's mother was lying on the kitchen table. Gutted, skinned and bones broken. He left the sight feeling very sick and almost puked when he went into the living room.
There was grandpa strewn about the couch. Head decapitated with his eyes pulled out and limbs cut off. Intestines pulled out and slopped all over. Racing upstairs, he opened the first door when he heard a slap and someone whimper

"Souta?!”
He gasped at the sight. Kagome was over her brother punching him in the stomach, without turning Kagome giggled psychotically

"Hello Inuyasha, we were just talking about you."
With one hand, she stroked Souta’s almost lovingly but the boy yanked his head away at her touch

"Oh look at these tears. Well I know one way too get rid of them."
The other hand held a knife and she brought it up to his eyes, gripping his hair tighter when he tried to struggle

"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HIM WENCH!!"
She just giggled and put the knife at his bottom lashes, Inuyasha charged her

"Sit boy!!"
She had not been expecting it when he grabbed her by the waist, so instead of the knife going in his eye. It sliced from the bottom of his eye socket and curved toward his ear, Souta screamed into the duct tape

"BITCH!!!"
Inuyasha punched her in her face sending her to the floor; she licked her blood-covered lips slowly while staring up at him in a push-up pose

"YOU ARE GOING TOO PAY KAGOME!!!"

"Why isn’t the charm working?!"

"Stupid bitch!! If you looked, I don't have it anymore. Now you die!!!!"
Before she could get up, Inuyasha had her in a chokehold and broke her neck. Letting her body hit the floor, then he inched to the frightened Souta

"It's alright Souta. You’re safe now."
The boy broke down before Inuyasha even got his restraints off; only to cry harder when his tears got in his cut

"Let's get out of here."

"Wait, we need too tell someone."
Wobbling over too the desk Souta started writing and when he was done he picked up the phone

"911 what is your emergency?"
Struggling not too break down more Souta rasped

"Come too this address. There have been murders. I have written a note describing what happened. Now I must leave as I can not stand too stay here ever again."
He left the phone still going and could hear the person trying in vain too make him respond whispering

"Let's go."
He passed out but Inuyasha caught him and went too the boy's room. He packed some clothes and the first aide kit then left. At the well, he heard the sirens.
The police who answered the call would forever be, scarred and haunted at what they saw. After they hung up the phone and read the note, everyone was in tears.

Whoever finds this note.
I am sorry you had seen this.
Please do not bury the girl with the other two.
She did what you see downstairs.
Torturing me and cutting off my finger.
Until, my saviour came and saved me by killing her.
Now we are leaving for a place past your reach.
Where I will be cared for and have a new family, new life.

Oh and burn the whole grounds, I want no one too have this place.
Least it drive them mad also.

"And there you have it folks, the last letter from a little boy. Who is the only remaining member of a family tragedy. That had even veteran police crying and becoming sick."
Hojo shut off the TV and looked at all of Kagome's classmates who had tears in their eyes

"I never thought Kagome would ever do something like that."
It was a sullen night for everyone

----------down the well-----------

"KIAEDE!!! HELP!!!"
Kiaede was barely at the door before Inuyasha rushed in making her old body spin

"Calm ye-self Inuyasha, it will do no good upset like this. Wait outside, while I take care of this."
Inuyasha shook his head viciously

"No! No I'm staying!"
Sighing thankfully when Sango and Miroku came in and got the hanyou out of her hair

"It will be alright Inuyasha let's step outside, Kiaede needs room too work."
Both gently guided him outside and were surprised to see tears rolling down his face. Inuyasha started punching the ground and cursing. Finally Sango knelt beside him and grabbed his fist then hugged him. Followed by Miroku and the hanyou held onto both of them and cried. They kept their hold, even as his body wracked from the sobs he tried too hold.
After an hour of being on the ground holding each other, Kiaede came out. Though she had tears herself, she was in awe from the sight of the three

“He is done Inuyasha. But where are you going too take him?"
Giving a small laugh, it still felt foreign to him

"I have camp with Sesshomaru."
Everyone looked at him, jaws hanging

"I know I didn't believe it either. He could of easily finished us off in the woods but he didn't and invited us too stay."
Sango wiped her eyes and smiled

"Well that's good. Take Kirara with you, it will be a smoother trip."
Nodding Inuyasha got up from the ground and went in too get Souta, when he came out Kirara had transformed. They took off after a short goodbye.
Half an hour later, he finally landed in camp and gently got off the fire cat. Then walked over too Shippo laying Souta beside him. He stood up too see Kirara walk over too Shippo and mew

"He's fine now Kirara, but I don't think he'll wake up any time soon after what he saw."
She mewed again and licked his forehead as her kiss, Rin chose that time too speak

"I have Shippo's new clothes Lord Inuyasha."
And she lifted them up too show him, he smiled at her and took the clothes

"Thank you Rin I'll put them on him later."

"Lord Inuyasha, who is that boy?"

"His names Souta, he is the miko's brother. Before you ask. She did that, as she hurt Shippo. Be nice too him when he wakes ok? His sister killed his whole family and almost him."
Rin had tears in her eyes and she looked sadly at the sleeping boys

"No need for tears Rin, we're all going too be happy now. Ok?"
Giving him a wide smile she nodded once and ran off too some flowers near by, sighing he smiled while watching her. After five minutes and Rin still very busy with flowers Inuyasha decided too put Shippo's new clothes on. It was a little hard putting the clothes on him but he did. He settled Shippo in the blanket and placed him beside Souta.
Soon Inuyasha fell asleep and Sesshomaru watched the children. After ten minutes, Inuyasha started having a nightmare. Something Sesshomaru thought his brother would never have. He had not talked about what he saw; Sesshomaru figured it had to have really bad to cause this reaction. Inuyasha shot up startled and looked wildly around the camp, then quickly ran for a bush.
After purging his stomach, he walked a few feet and leaned against the tree holding his head. Nearly jumping out of his skin when Sesshomaru was so close to him he was practically touching

“Perhaps the hot springs near by will help you.”

“Stop being so sneaky!”
Sesshomaru’s eyebrow rose and he watched as a blush slowly spread across Inuyasha’s face. Who ran off quickly, totally embarrassed

Interesting, perhaps there is a chance.

i have had this story for months so i am now starting to post it
