A Legend Discovered
Nina looked around the very vast lounge room it had a fire place and many old artifacts and tapestries on the wall and mantels.
“May I look around?” Nina asked
Sesshomaru nodded.
She got up and began to walking over to some artifacts “I know you’re a demon so I assume you have had these for many years.” Nina said with curiosity in her voice
“Yes I have” Sesshomaru said flatly
“not to be rude but may I ask how old you are exactly I know Taisho inc has been around for years but someone who looks as old as you couldn’t of just up and started a company just on a whim they have to be very wise and intelligent, know many things about this world and what appeals to people and for your company to be successful you must be very knowledgeable.” Nina asked studying a sword it was rather large and had a calm heavenly aura about it.
Sesshomaru smirked some she was very bold to speak her mind but took it as a complement he saying that he was very intelligent.
“I am over 1,000 years old.” Sesshomaru said smoothly
Nina walked over to a painting of Sesshomaru sitting in a garden with a young girl in her teens with her head resting on his lap with a sweet innocent smile.
“Who is this?” Nina asked looking over to Sesshomaru
“That is me and my late adoptive daughter in our garden at our old home. She left this earth many years ago due to illness” Sesshomaru said coldly
Nina studied the painting and then looked at the sword and stood there thinking for a moment then her eyes got really big and she looked at him.
“You’re HIM! You’re the noble inuyokai! The one that roamed the forest with two swords one of destruction forged from an evil demon’s fang to defeat your half hanyou brother and the other sword a heavenly sword said to be able to revive 100 lives in one swipe. You took up a human girl after saving her taking her as your daughter. You protected your land with honor and dignity after you father the great Lord Inu Taisho died. You are the Noble Honorable great Lord Sesshomaru the one from legends.” Nina said looking at him astonished
Sesshomaru was a little shocked himself he had never heard of someone knowing him as honorable or noble. He had only heard stories of himself being fearsome and devilish.
“How did you come to that conclusion?” Sesshomaru asked intreiged by her.
“Your sword, the artifacts, the painting, and your age. My father use to put me and my brother to bed of stories of your adventures the battles you fought.” Nina said walking back over and sitting down across
Sesshomaru raised a brow
“my great grandmother was a servant in your palace she would tell the stories to my father when he was little oh how he would describe you, how your long silver hair cascaded over your shoulders and would wave even in the slightest breeze and how it seemed to glow and shimmer in the moon light. Your eyes void of emotion to the untrained eye but if you looked deep enough your eyes gave you away, your voice always cool and calm. And the palace oh how I use to dream of walking threw those halls and sit and sing in the garden.” Nina’s eyes began to glimmer as she looked off into no where.
Sesshomaru smirked there could have been only one of his servants that spoke of him like that “was your great grandmother tsukiko fujiko?”
Nina looked over to him and nodded “my father said she died long ago”
Mizuki entered the room again and bowed
“M’ lord dinner is served” Mizuki said
Sesshomaru gave a slight nod to Mizuki and stood up and offered a hand to Nina. She looked up at him confused why would the lord of the west be offering a hand to her.
“You are the great granddaughter of one of my most loyalist servant who has ever served me and that entitles you to the respect she got from the other servants and myself gave her.” Sesshomaru said looking at her.
She blushed some taking his hand as he helped her up out of chair she sat in and they walked to the dinning area.
A male servant pulled out a chair for her as Sesshomaru sat down. Nina sat down smiling at the man “thank you” the man bowed and walked away.
They ate in silence for a little bit befor Sesshomaru broke the silence “so how much demon do you have in yourself”
“I am seventy-five percent demon my father was a full blooded dog demon and my mother half leaving me and my brother at seventy-five percent half from our father and a quarter from our mother” Nina said
Sesshomaru nodded he had been right.
They talked about odd things threw dinner. They had just finished when Mizuki lead a rather tall man with long black hair into the dinning room.
“Sir Lord Daichi insisted seeing you right away.” Mizuki said bowing
“So what makes you think you can just barge into my home this late at night” Sesshomaru said glaring at the man.
The tall man smirked and looked at the girl.
“Ill tell you if you tell me who this deliciously stunning young woman is joining you for dinner is.” The man said
Nina stood feeling uncomfortable “ummm uhh I think ill just go to bed now.”
“This is Nina fujiko she is the great granddaughter of my old servant Tsukiko you remember her don’t you, you wish to have her in your bed many times if I remember.” Sesshomaru looked at Nina.
“Nina this is Lord Daichi he is the lord of the east.” Sesshomaru said
Nina bowed politely “it is a pleasure to meet you Lord Daichi, now if you would both excuse me if its ok with you Lord Sesshomaru I would really like to go to bed”
Sesshomaru nodded and looked at Mizuki “Mizuki please make sure Nina makes it to her room ok”
“Yes milord” Mizuki bowed again as Nina walked over to her and the two women left the room.
“So the mighty lord Sesshomaru has finally produced a pup the way its looking she is half way threw her pregnancy and if I might ask why the other lords where not informed.” Daichi asked
“Because for starters I do not have to report everything to the other lords and second it is not my pup, I found her homeless out on the streets and like I said her great grandmother is tsukiko I am simply repaying her by helping out her great granddaughter. Now tell me why have you barged into my house this late at night.” Sesshomaru asked coldly
“The other lords want to hold the winter gathering at you palace this year and they have moved up the date.” Daichi said walking over and sitting down
“I will she perpetrations are start at my palace when do they want to have the gathering” Sesshomaru asked
“One week from today” Daichi said
Sesshomaru growled some leave it to them to leave the near impossible to him “fine everything will be ready in a week”
“Great…now tell me my old friend any chance of you mating her after she has her pup?” Daichi asked
“That is none of your business but no I have no intentions of mating her she isn’t even a full demon.” Sesshomaru said looking at Daichi
“Old friend she is probably the closest your are going to get and plus there must be something about her that attracts you I mean you don’t take in just anyone at lest not since Rin. You need another female touch in your life it has been many years since Rin left this world and you need an heir.” Daichi said
“Lets take this to the lounge I have a feeling im going to need a few drinks to get threw this visit.” Sesshomaru said standing up and the two lords headed for the lounge where he both pored them some brandy and they continued to talk.
Mean while Nina walked around her room some her baby was kicking a lot in her side making her uncomfortable so she thought she would sing some to calm it down and hopefully get it to fall asleep.
Daichi stopped talking as he heard her singing with his demon hearing.
“Who is that singing” Daichi asked looking around
“Nina” Sesshomaru answered flatly
“She is good he voice is so calming and relaxing” Daichi asked
Sesshomaru sipped his brandy and nodded “she is going to start singing at the cocktail lounge”
It wasn’t untill around three in the morning that Daichi left and Sesshomaru started up for his own room. Nina’s singing had cesed several hours befor then. All the servernts had gone to bed Sesshomaru didn’t know why but had the urge to cheek in on Nina. He walked to the girl’s door and slowly opened it looking in the room he walked over to the sleeping Nina. The moon shone down as if casting a protective light over her she seemed so helpless and so serene as she slept. Using his knuckle Sesshomaru moved a strand of hair out of her face. Nina sifted her weight some in her bed at the soft touch against her face. Sesshomaru then left her room and journeyed to his own. Stripping himself of his business suit he grabbed a pair of pajama pants putting them on slimed into his bed and let sleep over take him.

I am trying to get a chapter done every day so this one is a day over do but im hopping to have another chapter up tomorrow or even tonight i really dont know. and if this short little story gets enough reviews ill do a continueing story because this story will end on christmas (in the story not our time lol) so if ig et reviews saying they would like it continued i will but if not i wont unless i feel the urge to finish sesshomaru and nina's story.
