Two Girls, One well

Mira screamed as she fell down the hole and landed on the ground "Owwy."Mira sighed, Faking the pain and stood up picking her food and bag of stolen goods up. She heard nothing so she put the bag over her shoulder and climbed out. When she got to the top she looked around and gasped throwing her leg over "Well still dark but where the hell is the house AND MY CAR!!!!" she screamed in anger, Her car being the most important thing in her life one would think. All of the sudden a boy with silver hair and dog ears jumped in front of her face with a scowl on his face.

"Who the hell are you!"The sliver haired boy growled at her.

Mira swung her hands in the air making her Mac flurry fly into the mans face "GOD IN HEAVEN" She screamed as she fell backwards and fainted in pure shock.

Twenty minutes later she woke up With the Silver haired boy , Two girls and another man standing over her. Mira screamed and sat against the well staring at them. Putting her hands on the ground "Oww!" She had shouted and pulled her hand up, Noticing little drops of blood, Looking down she saw Nani's mirror and went wide eyed in fear. She looked around franticly and walked away from the people "Nani! Nani!! where are you Nani?!" she yelled as she looked around.

One of the girls walked up to her and said "Who are you and how did you get Through the well?''

"Umm my name is Mira. And i just fell and i came here."

"Well all right my name is Kagome That's Inuyasha, Sango ,Miroku and Shippo"

Mira screamed "Wait what the hell I'm in the Cartoon show Inuyasha!" While she was screaming she nearly fainted again.

The said Hanyou looked most confused and looked over to her as she said his name. "What?"

"Oh my god! I am in the show how the hell did i get from Nevada to Japan though...?" She paused for a second and shook her head rolling her eyes

"Kagome? do you know her?"Miroku rubbed his chin in an interested manner.

"No Miroku i don't. But i think you have to have a jewel shard to pass threw the well.."Kagome replied equally interested.

"Jewel Shard...Ooh ok! Yeah i don't have one of those..."Mira stuttered and looked around, fear ever so present in those big hazel eyes."Can i ..i ...i Stay with you guys for a while just tag along till i find my sister?"

"Of course." Sango Miroku Shippo and Kagome said at the same time .

"Hell no!" Inuyasha yelled and crossed his arms " We got enough problems as it is. I don't need protect another kid who cant look after herself!"

"Oh ok well i just go find my sister and leave you alone." She was definitely pulling the guild trip on them, As she walked away with her head hung low, Making a small sniffing noise

"No you cant go alone you'll be killed!" Inuyasha shouted and grabbed her upper arm. Mira looked up at him and then down to his hand around her arm.

"I thought you..." Mira was cut off by Kagome

"Inuyasha you care if she gets killed?"

"Noo! i just think ...Miroku should protect her on her journey to find her sister!" Inuyasha snapped and quickly let go of Mira.

"Well Inuyasha i am still injured after our last battle."He turned to Sango with pleading eyes " Lady Sango...Will you?"

"No Miroku. I cant i have to get Kirara some help. The poison from that demon is still really hurting her."Sango said whole heatedly and turned her gaze to Mira's "Perhaps Inuyasha?"

"Fine I'll do it. You guys stay here, and don't get into any trouble while I'm gone. I cant protect you all of the time you know." Inuyasha stuck his nose in the air and began walking away.

"Thank you for helping my Inuyasha." Mira jogged up to meet his pace and flashed a big toothy grin at him.

"Don't mention it."Inuyasha growled and kept his eyes on the path in front of them,Following what closely resembled Mira's scent.

"All right fine!"Mira snapped and crossed her arms walking slowly behind him, Staring at the ground as well, Kicking a rock every once in a while, watching it accidentally hit Inuyasha on the back, she giggled oh so innocently.

As Mira and Inuyasha walked into the woods Kagome whispered to the others. "I don't think i trust her alone with him. I mean she could be another incarnation of Naraku Sent to kill him!"

"Kagome calm down, There is no need to get worried. Inuyasha is a big boy, He can take care of himself.."Miroku replied to Kagome to ease her.

"Yes i guess your right."Kagome returned the smile he sent her way.

"But you must admit Miroku."Sango began watching the residing forms of the two."Her aura was much stronger then that of any humans, Even if she seems to be oblivious of it . She is very strong. Perhaps she may be a Hanyou, Or even a priestess?"

"Inuyasha why did you say yes to helping me find Nani?"

"To get you out of my life quicker!" Inuyasha snapped.

Mira glared at his back and raised her hand to punch him in the back of the head, but clenched her fist and shook it a bit putting it back near her side, Glaring daggers into his back

After about a half an hour of walking, Mira paused and looked at Inuyasha and spoke. "Hey...Inuyasha...?"

"What?"Inuyasha stopped turning to look at her, Raising a brow at the look on her face.

Mira walked up to him and got close to him and looked into his eyes, Her bottom lip trembling, her eyes big and begging. "Can i..I...I..."

"Out with it already Women your scaring me and do you have to be so close!"

"Oh can i touch your ears?"

Inuyasha nearly fell over. "Wha--what! No!"He yelled and turned on his heal to keep walking but remained still.

"Oh ok."Mira smiled and continued to walk as Inuyasha stared her from behind, Watching her skip a bit as she whistled some odd tune.

'Who is the strange girl and why is she dressed like that Kagome is never dressed like that. And ....'His thoughts where cut short when he heard Mira let out a short squeaky scream. "Are you ok?"He asked and run up to her kneeling down next to her.

"I think i twisted my ankle."She whimpered as a tear rolled down her cheek. Inuyasha bent down and pulled off her shoe and poked at her ankle Mira screamed "OWWW! that hurt ass hole!"

"Oh sorry..."Inuyasha grumbled with slight amusement in his voice, holding back a chuckle at the thought he got the chance to hurt her.

"Can you walk."

"What the Fuck do you think...." Mira growled low in her throat, her eyes narrowing again.

"Fine!" Inuyasha yelled at her as he throw his arms under her and lifted her off the ground."We will go back to Kagome and the others so you can rest your ankle and we will find you sister tomorrow hopefully." .Mira glared and held on to him and he jumped trough the woods.

"All right whatever. "Mira finally said after a while. When Inuyasha suddenly stopped she raised a brow "What is it Inuyasha?" She was stunned at the sudden jerk. After a few seconds Mira looked around a bit and then back up at him. "What is it...?"

"A demon..." He sat Mira down and told her to get behind a bush or something, telling her to just hide. He noticed she still had her duffel bag around her shoulder and wondered what was inside it.

"Oooh...scary...Is it close?" She said not getting behind the tree, just standing next to him keeping her weight off her left foot.

"Would you...Just get down or something.." Inuyasha grunted and brought out Tetsuiga, it immediately transformed and he looked over and saw Mira with a huge grin on her face.

"Aww look at that!" Mira said and covered her mouth letting out a squeal. "Your protecting me!"

"SHUT UP!" Inuyasha screamed at that moment an ugly little snake Youkai crashed threw the ground, wrapping itself around Mira's torso, squeezing her tightly.

"Look at thisssss." It spoke and slithered up a tree with her. "Give me the sssshard girl! Give it to meeee!" It hissed at her. Getting a blank stare in return.

"Get...Off...me..." Mira mumbled and reached her hand around, backhanding the snake across its nasty face, She then reached into her bag and grabbed a glass bottle of wine and cracking it across the top of the demons head. It hissed in pain as the bottle broke. "I don't know you. I don't want to know you!" She shouted and grabbed the end of the broken bottle, stabbing it into the Youkai's neck. She along with the demon fell out of the tree, The demon dead of course. Mira fell flat on her ass with a dull thud and an 'Ommf'

"What in the..."Inuyasha stared at her.

"...." Mira didn't say a word she just looked at her hands witch had nasty blood on them and shook her head a bit, looking over at Inuyasha she smiled bright and backed away a bit at the look he was giving her.

"SHIT!" Inuyasha said and jumped on Mira, tackling her to the ground as yet another snake demon came crashing from behind. Mira let out a squeak and tumbled to the ground with Inuyasha. When they hit the ground the snake demon passed over they're heads, Inuyasha reached for his Tetsuiga but looked over and saw that the demon simply past by them gathered the remains of its fallen comrade and fled.

"Umm...Inuyasha..." Mira whispered in a tiny voice with a small blush on her cheeks. "As charming as you've been tonight...Hah.." She let out a short chuckle. "I don't like getting this close on the first date, So if you don't mind...."

Inuyasha himself felt his cheeks flare up as he quickly rolled off and away from Mira, standing up with his back turned to her so she couldn't see his beet red face. He heard her soft giggle and turned to look at her a bit. "Come on lets get moving."He cleared his throat and looked up, realizing they had been traveling all day and the sun was about to set... "CRAP!" He shouted and growled a bit. Mira walked up behind him and smiled.

"Thank you." She said while he transformed. "And don't worry. " Her smile got bigger. "I'll protect you tonight. " Her smile grew wider even when she saw him blush again, She quickly got a hug and short grumbled thank you before they set down and she fell asleep. Inuyasha on the other hand did not.

At sunrise Mira woke up to see a sliver haired Inuyasha watching over her with a scowl on his face."Good morning Inuyasha."

"Feh!"Inuyasha grumbled and looked away.

"What's wrong, you where so nice last night?" Mira questioned with a slight hint of anger in her voice, Crossing her arms over her chest with her own scowl on her face, glaring at him a bit.

"Shut up and come on where going to find your sister Nani was it?"

"Don't tell me to shut up!! And yes her name is Nani!"She shouted and grabbed her duffel bag throwing it over her shoulder, Grumbling something Inuyasha didn't understand, witch was most likely in a different language.

"Come on!"Inuyasha shouted grabbed her hand and pulling her along

"Stop your hurting me And my ankle!"Mira hissed and pushed his hand away, slapping it as she did so.

"Come on I'll carry you then you wimp!"Inuyasha glared at her, Moving his arms under her back and lifting her bridal style effectively shutting her up, and getting a small squeak from her. He raced threw the forest after this with Mira hiding her face in his neck, eeping every time he jumped.

"Inuyasha,Mira Welcome back."Miroku said.

Kagome looked at Mira and Inuyasha and said softly under hear breath so no one should her hear "Sit boy."

Inuyasha fell to the ground on top of Mira sprawling out on top of her before he yelled "Damn it Kagome what was that for?!"

"Nothing just get up so we can go to the well i heard voices coming from there a while ago so just come on. It might be her sister."Kagome mumbled and looked away, a small blush on her cheek.

"All right but Mira needs to be carried and i think you might be mad cause of it so Miroku you carry her."Inuyasha smirked knowing Kagome might be jealous of Mira. 'I can see why.' He thought as he looked up and down her body. Before punching himself in the face literately. Scarring everyone else.

"Inuyasha are you all right?" Mira said limping up to him and placing her palm over his forehead. He stiffened and shrugged her off.

"I'm fine."He growled .

"All right give her here."Inuyasha picked Mira up and placed her in Miroku's arms Inuyasha walked ahead and to the open field where the well is and saw Sesshoumaru and a girl. Miroku walked out and Mira yelled "Nani!"

Sesshoumaru turned his head to Jaken, "Did she happen to mention her name?"

Rin shook her head, "No my lord."

Sesshoumaru turned around with the bloodied Nani in his arm. Before he could see the face of the person calling the name of the woman in his arm he was smacked in the face with a rock.

"What did you do to my sister you fluffy Jackass!?" Mira shouted running up to Sesshoumaru.

"Mira, No!" Miroku shouted. "He'll kill you!"

Not listening to Miroku's warnings, Mira kept running towards her unconscious sister. "Nani! What did you do to her?"

Sesshoumaru moved his hold on Nani and set her down in front of him. Extending his arm to his side he pulled out his Tokijin and pointed it to Mira. "Stop," he calmly ordered.

Mira stopped dead in her tracks, another inch and the sword would have pierced into her throat. "What did you do to her?"She seethed in a calm quiet voice, as if trying to intimidate her.

"Me? Nothing. Ask Kagome's friend Koga what happened to her, he'd know. Now back away before you taste my sword."

"Screw you! Let my sister go."

"She asked for my help. So I am giving it." He put his sword back in it's sheath, "Now go."

"Sesshoumaru! You bastard!" Inuyasha screamed running up and standing next to Mira, "Let her go!"

"I guarantee I am not holding her against her will. Now leave Inuyasha before you taste your death," he said putting his sword back in its sheath.

With no warning Inuyasha leapt forward at his older brother screaming, "Iron Reaver, Soul Stealer."

Sesshoumaru leapt back, grabbing Nani and making her dangle in his arm like a rag doll, dodging Inuyasha's attack. "Once again, Inuyasha, you're carelessness proves you worthy. You could have easily hit this woman and killed her. And how would the violent one feel about that?"

Without warning Mira smacked Inuyasha in the back of the head. "Yeah! You could have killed my sister you cock mite! What were you thinking, idiot?"

"Hey shut up! I know where I was aiming."

Mira rolled her eyes and leapt at Sesshoumaru in hopes of hurting him. Her attack proved worthless when a large hand hit her across the jaw sending her flying into a near by tree. Inuyasha ran up to her to see if she was all right.

As he checked on Mira, Sesshoumaru retained his hold on Nani and walked away with Rin and Jaken.

"Well done my Lord," Jaken began, "You showed her who's boss."

"Lord Sesshoumaru?" Rin said adjusting her hold on the duffel bag.

"Yes Rin?" he said adjusting his hold on Nani.

"Will she go back to her sister, my lord?"

"Like I said before, Rin, it is up to her what she wants to do."

"I still think we should just leave her somewhere for the wolves to get her," Jaken said angry at the fact that Sesshoumaru was going to help this human.

"No, Jaken, we help her recover her strength then send her on her way if she wishes."

"Yes my lord. As you wish." He then thought to himself, "But if she doesn't recover, we will not be having to help her any further." He quietly chuckled to himself. "Stupid girl," he mumbled. "My Lord Sesshoumaru is helping a mortal he has never met. Or heard her name for that matter. I sure hope he isn't planning on letting her stay with us. If he hates humans so much then why is he helping this one?"

Jaken continued to mumble until Sesshoumaru stopped by a water fall and set Nani down. "Jaken," Sesshoumaru began, "Go and get some herbs to put on her wounds. Rin, go with him."

Rin and Jaken walked into the forest after Rin set down Nani's duffel bag. Sesshoumaru laid Nani's head on her duffel bag and began to wipe the blood off her face and body. When he got all the blood off her face he tilted his head and smirked. "A beautiful woman without all the blood and when she is not screaming. If you are psychic like you claim to be, I will put you to good use in time."

He continued to wipe the blood off her and waited for Jaken and Rin with the herbs so he could finish with her wounds. It took Jaken and Rin a good half hour to return with the right herbs. In that time he had devolved an emotion for her that he didn't understand. Pity Maybe. But it made him want her to stay with him, Jaken and Rin. But she would have to want to stay. It was entirely up to her and he knew it. He wasn't about to force her to stay with him and the others.

"Lord Sesshoumaru," Rin said walking out of the woods with two hand full's of herbs. "We have the herbs you asked for."

"Very good, Rin. Bring them here."

Rin walked to Sesshoumaru and set the herbs by his side who proceeded to prepare them to be placed on her wounds. He placed them on her visible wounds and stood up after he finished. "Rin."

"Yes, Lord Sesshoumaru?" Rin said looking up at him.

"Remove her clothes and put the herbs on her other wounds."

"Why wont you do it, My Lord?"

"I have no desire or intention to see her bare body."

"Yes my lord."

Sesshoumaru went behind a tree and waited. "Jaken, you come here. Seeing her naked will not be something you will do anytime soon."

Jaken looked ticked off as though he wanted to see her naked. He kicked the grass and walked to Sesshoumaru. Rin gently took off Nani's clothing and whipped the blood off her then put the herbs on the wounds. Rin had no idea how bad her wounds actually were. Though she was just a child she understood the world in more ways then most adults. She understood that Nani might not live and she accepted it though she did feel a great swell of sorrow for Nani.

"Lord Sesshoumaru, I finished," Rin called.

"Is she dressed?" he called back.

"No my lord, but I found a blanket in her bag and covered her with it because her clothes are covered in blood."

Sesshoumaru walked out from behind the tree with Jaken at his side and looked down at Nani and Rin. "How is she?"

"She seems to be all right, my lord. I think she just needs some rest," she said picking up Nani's clothes and bringing them to the waterfall to wash them. She kneeled in front of the water and dipped Nani's clothes in, beginning to wash them.

"My lord, you don't plan on letting the girl stay with us do you?" Jaken complained as he watched Nani sleep.

"We've gone over this, Jaken," Sesshoumaru said.

Rin finished with Nani's clothes a few minutes later and hung them up to dry. It was an hour before she woke up. She slowly opened her eyes and sat up. Slowly she stood up, wrapping the blanket around her bare torso.

"You must take care not to move much," Sesshoumaru warned.

"I smell like blood," she said beginning to walk to the water, stumbling every few steps.

"It's your blood, my lady," Rin said. "I couldn't get all of it off."

Nani chuckled. "My name is Nani."

"I'm Rin."

Nani smiled heatedly at the small girl, "I know." She stumbled to her bag and took out a small bottle of lavender body wash and Cocoa nut shampoo.

"You lost a lot of blood and are severely injured, lady Nani," Sesshoumaru said standing up in front of Nani. "You should not be moving yet."

"Don't worry, Sesshoumaru, I'm..." She lost her balance and toppled into Sesshoumaru's arm. "I'm sorry." She began to blush at his strong arm around her.

"It's all right," he said helping her regain her balance.

She walked to the water and dropped the blanket not caring if Sesshoumaru saw her naked. She was proud of her body and had no reason to be ashamed. Sesshoumaru turned his eyes away as she walked into the water.

"That blood on your hand," Nani began. "Is it mine?"

Sesshoumaru looked at his hand then at Nani, "No, milady. It is someone else's."

"Is it yours? Are you hurt?"

"No I am not hurt. Belongs to one named Mira."

"That's my sister," she shouted. "What did you do to her?"

"I simply taught her a lesson about running up to attack agitated demons."

"You didn't kill her, did you?"

"No. Don't worry, Lady Nani, your sister will be fine. It was merely a..." He paused to choose his words. "an act of discipline to warn her I am not a demon who's abilities are to be taken lightly."

"You can say that again. I've seen you in your demon form. Not something I'd want to cuddle with."

Sesshoumaru gave a smirk as Nani put the shampoo in her hair and began to lather her scalp. After several minutes she walked out of the water, sure she had the smell of blood off her and wrapped her blanket back around her. She walked to her bag and pulled out a change of clothes.

"Boy, am I glad I had this when I fell," she said climbing under her blanket and putting on a pair of hip hugging blue jeans and another black tank top. She came out from under the blanket and dug back into her bag for her brush and a change of socks.

"What is that scent you put in your hair and on your body?" Sesshoumaru asked lightly smelling the air in her direction.

"It's called shampoo, the stuff I put in my hair. The other stuff is called body wash."

"Logical name I suppose."

Nani chuckled as she slipped on her socks then her combat boots. "Cleaning up in that nice cool water sure gave me some strength back. I feel almost as good as new."

"Too bad you don't look good as new," Jaken pointed.

"What did you say, you mutated frog?" Nani snapped.

"I meant your injuries, my lady," he said with fear clear in his tone.

"Oh, I'm sorry I snapped at you. They will be healed in a week or so I suppose."

"Why do you dress like that? If you don't mind my asking," Rin said looking over Nani's clothes.

"These are clothes from my time," she answered with a smile. "People dress like this from where I come from. I know I look weird to you but you would look weird to my people."

Rin smiled and nodded letting her know she thought she was right. Nani then picked up her brush and began running it through her long blonde hair. Sesshoumaru watched her in awe as he sat with his back leaned against a tree. "Amazing how a woman from a completely different time wouldn't be scared of me," he thought to himself. "Even people from this time fear me, yet... she has no fear of me. How strange I smell absolutely no fear on her. She does seem like a strong person."

His thoughts were interrupted when Nani sat next to him with her back to the tree and her shoulder touching his. "Thank you, Sesshoumaru."

"It was nothing," he said. "Lady Nani, how would you feel about..."

"That's it, you're healed. Go home," Jaken butted in before Sesshoumaru could ask Nani if she wanted to stay with them.

"But out, frog boy!" Nani shouted at his rudeness.

"Calm down you two," Sesshoumaru calmly ordered. "Jaken, why don't you go and find some food for Lady Nani. I'm sure she is hungry."

"How'd you guess? I'm starved," she said with a smile.

"Very well then, Rin, go with Jaken to be sure he gathers good food and does not try to poison Lady Nani. I can smell his hate for her."

"Yes, Lord Sesshoumaru," Rin said pulling Jaken away by the hand.

"What were you going to ask me, Sesshoumaru?" Nani asked pulling a pack of cigarettes out of her duffel bag and a lighter then lighting it and putting the lighter in her pocket and the cigarettes by her side.

"What is that?" Sesshoumaru asked eyeing her cigarette.

She chuckled. "It's a cigarette. Kind of like pipes and tobacco, only no pipe. Just paper. So what did you want to ask me?"

"How would you like to journey with the three of us until you find a way home?"

She smiled. "I'd love to." She blushed. "As long as the mutated frog doesn't try to poison me."

"I'll be sure he doesn't."

"And what about my sister?"

"Apparently she has chosen the same path as Inuyasha. She was traveling with him and his companions when she tried to attack me."

"She's with Inuyasha?"

"Yes."

"But you and Inuyasha hate each other, you'd never get along. How would I see her?"

"When you want to see her simply leave and be with her. My lady, I am not forcing you to stay with us. I am asking on account that you know nothing about this time and the dangers that are here." He looked at her wounds. "I could protect you. If you'd allow me to, that is."

"Sesshoumaru?" she said softly. She didn't speak again until he looked back at her. "I'd love to stay with you guys." She smiled and they continued talking.
