Golden Eyes

Kagome sat at the bottom of the well sobbing. No one was coming and there was no way home. It was getting dark, but she could not go back to the village. What would happen if she went there? She might kill her friends and the people who had been there for her. It was not fair. She had not asked for any of this in the first place. Kagome could not blame Inuyasha for running. In fact she begged him to. How he ran after the damage he took was beyond imagining.

The young girl searched for a dagger or sharp bone fragment. There was nothing down here that she could take her own life with either since that would be easier then facing her family to tell them she helped Kouga tie Inuyasha down so he could rape him then purify his eyes blinding him possibly forever.

Kagome was not acting of her own free will. It was like she had none until this moment and the voices haunted her taunting Kagome saying every horrible thing she had done. Kikyo and Naraku were there tormenting her mind. Kagome had never been this afraid in her life and there were so many times before that she had been afraid. She stood up to the most powerful demon in the world, Lord Sesshoumaru. It was just a matter of time until a demon found her and killed her. Kagome waited, but nothing happened. Finally in the darkness she fell into a deep nightmare unable to wake up as she felt herself sinking further into despair, but too tired to fight the poison clouding her body. Perhaps death would come.

Sango woke up next to find her husband Miroku was wide awake standing by the doorway. There was a look in his eyes. An eerie look that seemed familiar as the monks eyes turned red and he held up Shippo's severed head.

"Sango wake up!"

Myoga the tiny flea landed on Shippo's shoulder. Shippo felt the familiar pain and swatted the tiny royal flea.

"I can't say I like human blood as much as Lord Inuyasha's, but I can help."

Myoga bit each of the humans as Sango bolted awake slapping the insect realizing it was Myoga and Miroku groaned. He was used to pain with Sango beating him up so he just looked at the flea irritated knowing his cheek was going to itch like hell now.

"Ok we are up. What is going on?"

Ginta and Hakkaku took his body stating that the humans who had been their friends were always welcome to come find them if they ever needed the wolves. Sango, Kagome, Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru, Shippo, and Miroku had more then helped their people. Sesshoumaru was now the new pack leader since he was King of all demons. It was up to him to choose a replacement for Kouga.

"Sango is Kirara around?"

Myoga stated in a panic.

"Yes why?"

Then they turned back to see a site they did not think was possible. Kagome was there, but it was not Kagome any more. She was something else. Red eyes glowed as wild ebony hair flowed behind her. Stated Myoga in awe. As they flew away towards the caves they knew no one would be safe until they could find a way to stop Kagome. They had to warn the wolves and anyone else along the way. Every path Kagome would take would lead to destruction.

I wanted you to keep wearing red, but I have some white ones for special ceremonies and events here at our home as well as other colors since I have only seen you in red. You should be dressed as a Prince. You are my Prince and we are royalty. You have always been so and therefore it is time that you start to dress as such all the time. Your black hair makes you so beautiful in these cloths, but I miss the little ears on your head."

Father stated softly as Sesshoumaru smiled watching Naraku's fear in Kagome's eyes.

"Nothing can touch you. You have always been all powerful so do not ask for gifts you already possess. We were given these powers from heaven. Care for others, protect them my son. You are King now so do well for our people and love with all your heart. Show mercy to your enemies in your destruction of them and find peace for this world you live in until we meet again. Now destroy this devil for good."

Sesshoumaru almost looked as though he were dancing with his sword as he swung it and fire filled the blade making the blinding purifying light seem dim to the white fire of his sword. Sesshoumaru spun cutting through Kagome like butter as her head fell to the ground. The spirits screamed as they flew out of her headless body and the last of the demons emerged from her body. Sesshoumaru sent the dragon's fire light dragons after them as the giant white dragons chased them across the sky. Kagome's body fell to the ground then a young human man's spirit pulled out of the now dead body.

"You think you have won. I cannot be defeated."

Growled Onigumo.

"The dead burnt human from the cave. You have come a long way for nothing. You are dead. All have left you."

Onigumo looked up laughing as he pulled Kikyo's spirit into his grasp as she tried to struggle out of his grip.

"You are mine Kikyo. No one else shall have you."

Sesshoumaru cocked his head as he looked down at the spirits.

"I think not."

Sesshoumaru simply stated as he pulled tensaiga out as it pulsed at him. Then shoving the sword into the spirits Kikyo was released while Onigumo writhed in pain.

"This is not over. My baby is still in that girl's body. Do you think death will stop me? I still win!"

"Leave her Kikyo and go on to the otherworld. She will be restored and free of all of you. She never belonged here. Kagome was unfortunate in being forced to live in this place with us. The girl is innocent and she will be restored to her rightful state when I am through here. We all have wronged her."

Kikyo nodded and floated away. Blood seeped on the ground from Kagome's body. She was a full demon and Sesshoumaru knew he lied his ass off to Kikyo. Kagome would not ever be the same damn it all. Looking down at Onigumo, Sesshoumaru growled wiggling the sword into that evil spirits body.

"Your aura is repulsive human. You are repulsive. I am going to show you what I do to things like you. You have no idea who you messed with."

Sesshoumaru stated firmly as he pulled the leg of the spirit around. Onigumo was afraid. Since when did living creatures have ways of touching dead spirits?

"How can you touch me?"

Sesshoumaru smirked.

"I am not all I seem. Did you think I ever feared you? You were never a threat to me Naraku, Onigumo. It matters not what your name is. You are still going to suffer. Now watch this."

Sesshoumaru reached a clawed hand into Kagome's womb. Pulling out the screeching infant Sesshoumaru crushed it purifying the evil being.

"Your offspring is no more...then dust now."

Onigumo watched in terror as Sesshoumaru let the sand of what was once his child fall in front of his face.

"Now I am going to fix what I can of this woman child. You made her no longer human. So I won't have to use tensaiga to fix this problem. You see no one knows the extent of all my powers."

Sesshoumaru lifted his hand over Kagome. Then the body swirled until the head reattached and the wounds healed. Then a light could be seen and Kagome was once again whole on the ground looking up at Sesshoumaru. Then Kagome felt her ears. They were still demon ears.

"I am alive. I am still a demon though?"

Sesshoumaru nodded and held out a hand to her. Kagome took it not knowing why the handsome demon Lord was being kind to her.

"Is Inuyasha ok? .........and you have black hair........"

Sesshoumaru looked at the tear streaked face of the girl. She was still crying blood tears. He felt some pity.

"I feel some human things now Kagome. Just on Inuyasha's human nights. We will speak of things later. Now you are to go to my castle. Go through here and you will find your room. I expect you to dress.......more appropriately when I see you again."

Sesshoumaru stated looking at those long legs in that skirt. It reminded him that he wanted sex and Inuyasha was just a few minutes away. Opening up a portal Sesshoumaru motioned for Kagome to step through. Onigumo looked up in shock. Sesshoumaru just made that out of thin air. The man never showed his powers like this. Was he playing with him when they fought?

"What is this Sesshoumaru?"

Sesshoumaru turned to look at Onigumo after closing the portal behind Kagome.

"I kept you alive because I thought you were interesting and clever at first. Then you became sloppy and cowardly. If you think you have actually killed all those people you are wrong. I created many illusions for my and my brother's pack so we would have something to do. Being immortal can be boring and Inuyasha does not know about any of this. I saw you with Kikyo that clay doll I created. It has all been a big game. If you saw your reality you would not know what to do. You are ugly though and I am tired of your games. You are very boring now. I must find another foe worthy of paying attention to. I rip evil creatures like you out of your slumber so that we can pursue you for a while. I really am all powerful on earth. Of course I am nothing in comparison to that creature that made all of this. I just am guardian of it. You little human have heard of the dog that guards hell right?"

Onigumo nodded looking at Sesshoumaru in fear.

"I trained him."

Onigumo was not expecting that. He could almost see Sesshoumaru as the dog of hell.

"Do I have three heads in my demon form? I think not you simple minded fool. Really what do you take me for? I am not a freak like you."

Sesshoumaru stated in disgust. Pulling out tensaiga he beheaded the spirit and put his sword away as Onigumo's spirit head rolled bursting into flames with his body following as the spirit screamed.

"Enjoy hell. I am sure it missed you."

Sesshoumaru stated as he walked away heading back home to his Inuyasha.
