Promise

It had been two day's since they had found Inuyasha in the battle-field and placed him in the care of the healers. It had taken them about 12 hours to get Inuyasha into stable condition, but he hadn't woken up yet. Even though things were still hectic Sesshomaru and Touga finally had some time to sit down and question eachother. Sesshomaru asked first "father, how are you alive?" he asked. Touga answered this question quickly seeing that this was the question everyone had been asking him. He said "well i wasn't supposed to die. You see when i died it left Inuyasha to live un-protected and fatherless. Also it ment that you would become the lord of the western lands when you were too young causing wars that were unneceserry. Even though it's pretty late i was allowed to come back" he explained. Sesshomaru nodded even though he still didn't clearly understand, but how could THE Sesshomaru say that he didn't understand ANYTHING? So he nodded. Touga looked at Sesshomaru with amusement and asked his question "i thought you hated your brother, but you seem just as worried as me" he stated more then ask. "Well you see father Inuyasha and I are mates now." he said in a brisk manner. "NANI?!" his father shouted, but he quickly regained his composure "I see" he said.

A few hours later a servent came to them and bowed respectfully "Inu-No-Taisho, Sesshomaru-sama, Inuyasha-sama has woken" he said. Sesshomaru and Taisho stood up before the servent had even finished speaking and walked off in the direction of the healer's chambers.

Inuyasha was sitting up with the help of the few cushions, he looked up at them. The servents and healers quickly exited the room. The dai-youki walked to Inuyasha each breathing a sigh of relief. Inuyasha stared blankly at Taisho. (--?) "Who are you?" he asked in a raspy voice. Taisho pretended to look shocked "Inuyasha my son, you do not remember your father?" he asked. Inuyasha stared at him "my father died two-hundred years ago" he stated. Taisho laughed and explained everything to him.

Inuyasha stared blankly at Sesshomaru and Touga, and smiled brightly "ok i completly understand dad" he said. Touga gave a small smile and gave him a small pat on the head "i need to go now, your brother has neglected the kingdom for so long that its a mess" he said walking out the door. "i didnt neglect it" Sesshomaru murmered darkly. Inuyasha laughed "no wonder your known for not fearing anything, you lived with him for about a hundred years!" he said. Sesshomaru sat next to Inuyasha and rested his head against Inuyasha's shoulder breathing in his unique scent. It was a mix of lavender, the forest and something he couldnt identify. Inuyasha played with the silver strands "gosh Sessy, you've turned from the stotic lord of the west to a big baby" he said. Sesshomaru nipped his neck "no im still stotic, maybe i only act that way around you" he said "do you want me to be stotic around you too?" he asked. Inuyasha put a finger to his lip as if he was thinking about it "ok lets do that. You act stotic around me and ill act stotic around you too!" he said looking happy. Sesshomaru frowned at this idea "nevermind, pretend that i never said that" he said. "Go to sleep Inuyasha, your voice is getting weaker and weaker. You need to rest." he said in a no nonsense manner. Inuyasha yawned "fine only cause you asked so nicely" he said his breath steadily slowing. Sesshomaru rested his head on his arms and stared at the angel he had almost lost. His eyes slowly grew heavier until he couldnt stand to keep them open.
