Life has their secrets

Before I start the story, I apologize if the characters seem to be getting OOC, any typos, etc. Sometimes I get too caught up in my writing and... yeah. ^^;; Oh and you'll also notice I type everything in English. (Like Miko will be Priestess) unless if there's no English term. (Like Kimono...) And I only added this chapter just so you guys can read more before making sure about.. asking for more chapters and neh. :|;; *Lemon in next chapter!*

"While you await for my orders, go tell the women to settle things. Fix a room up for this girl. Cook something edible for her." A soft, sensual voice spoke, which had escaped from a male. "Yes, Master." A female voice was heard. Footsteps could be heard after. Soft rustling sounds from cloth echoed through the room, causing the young priestess to wake from her slumber.

Huh.. Where.. Where am I...? Those voices... Wha.. Hands unconsciously brought themselves to her face, then rubbed the sleep away from her eyes. Brushing extra strands of dark hair from her face. Opening her eyes, she looked around, trying to get her eyes used to the dark. Why is it so dark in here? Like reading her mind, a small candle had lit, then a few others, allowing enough light to fill the room.

The room had beige walls, straw-mat like floor. When she looked in front of her, there was a simple bed, a dresser on the near wall on one side. The other was occupied with a small table, a vase that held various flowers. When she looked behind her, she noticed a door, but stopped there. Her heart skipped a beat, her breath were held in short gasps. Eyes widened in shock, not fear, but just shock. She could feel the strands of hair on the back of her neck stand. What she saw was like watching a horror movie, seeing creatures slaughter humans. But this.. This was worse. What she saw before her made her jump to her feet.

There sat Naraku. In all his immoral glory. His crimson eyes were strong. His eyes held a bit of threat in them, making it seem that if you just took a glance into them you'll feel like you've died, or just simply melt. His hair was a dark, coal-like. His hair was beautiful, reaching just a few inches above his thighs. He wore his usual clothes when he's not in battle. A dark blue and light violet kimono, with a black kimono hidden underneath.

Kagome ran to the door, without thinking. Big mistake. The door was locked once she tried to turn it. Of course.. But why did he take me? Why.. Turning around to face Naraku, her curious eyes examined him, seeing how he slowly turned to face the priestess. "What do you want with me...?" Stupid. Of course, he wants the Jewel Shards.. He'll have to take my life first before that happened... "If it's about the Shards, you'll have to kill me for it. Now set me free or else!"

Naraku, being himself, was pretty amused by Kagome. She was demanding him to let her go. Her. A young priestess demanding the strongest, vile, half-breed Naraku. He chuckled, which caused Kagome to narrow her eyes, seeming aggrivated. This only entertained Naraku some more.

"Calm down.. Listen.. I bet I have what you want, like you have something I want.." Naraku began. What Kagome didn't know was, since Naraku still had Kagura and Kanna, he asked Kanna to look for Inuyasha, then Kagome. He found Inuyasha, mating with the dead priestess. Then found Kagome, running off with a shattered heart. Naraku knew everything. Too bad Kagome didn't know.

Kagome mentally sighed, taking a seat in on the floor, in front of the bed. She watched Naraku turn to face her again. "What is it?" She had became calm now, awaiting for Naraku's response. Naraku chuckled his dark chuckle, then finished with a smile. "I sense anger in you.. I bet it's about the mutt. I also sense.. Vengeance in you. I can help you.." That caught Kagome off guard, then blinked, her full attention on the topic now. She thought, trying to remember things she heard about Naraku.

"Isn't it true that.. You can transform and look like other people?" Kagome bit down onto her lower lip, hoping she didn't seem dense. "That's how Kikyo, Inuyasha, even yourself, came to what you guys are.. Kikyo ended up dying, Inuyasha ended up losing his love, and you.. You ended up helping Inuyasha." Naraku's eyes narrowed, remembering that Kagome was the reason for the jewel splitting into pieces. Before Naraku could speak again, Kagome spoke up.

"Do this one favor for me, and I'll give you anything you want, even the Jewel Shards!" Kagome sat on her knees, the palms of her hands placed on the floor, as if begging. It seemed Kagome was willing to do anything to piss Inuyasha off. "Then speak it now, before I change my mind." Naraku stood, walking closer to Kagome then taking a seat next to her, so he could hear her better.

This made Kagome feel uneasy, then gulped before beginning. "Well.. I.. I want to.. Make Inuyasha mad.. Really mad.." As she trailed off, her hands brung themself up to her chest, placing themselves over to where her heart was. It hurts just thinking about them.. The words Inuyasha said is, and will forever be burned into my mind, I'm sure of it... "Will it involve hurting him?" Naraku asked. Kagome quickly darted her gaze from the floor to his eyes.

"... Do whatever.. But.. I was hoping.. If you could transform into Inuyasha's brother - Sesshomaru.." This caused Naraku to quirk a brow in question. "The first step of getting him mad is.. Making him think I'm with his brother. Since I know Sesshomaru won't accept a human--" "Then wouldn't it seem impossible, even if I do act just like him?" Naraku cut her off, which caused Kagome to think. He's right...

"Although..." Naraku smirked. "I think I have another solution."

The tone in his voice doesn't sound so reassuring.. She closed her eyes, feeling him loom over her, leaning closer into her figure.

Sorry for it being short, it sucking, etc. I tried to make it great but.. I kept getting distracted by the t.v. I know. -_-;; But yeah. Hope you like this chapter, and I promise, if I can concentrate better, I'll make a better chapter in the next one! Since there's gonna be Lemon (Or I could be lying.) in the next chapter, I'm gonna make it enjoyable while reading. Maybe I'd just turn the t.v. off while writing. :|; So yeah.. Enjoy.. R&R..
