Chapter 2

A few days went by and Riku could tell that their was something wrong with Rin. “Alright what is it” she asked. “What’s what” Rin said back “don’t tell me what’s what, you have been acting strange for three days straight now, so what is it” Riku was getting frustrated now. “If I tell you, promise me that you wont tell anyone else” Rin said. “Hey were best friends and you know I never break promises” Riku replied. “Okay, well do you remember how I told you that I was catching the bus” Rin said, “yeah what about it” Riku replied. “Well I missed the bus and why I was waiting I saw the most beautiful and handsome guy I have ever seen” Rin told her.

“Do you know who he is” Riku asked her “no I don’t and I don’t think I will ever see him again” Rin replied. “Don’t think that way Rin their has to be a way you can find him and meet him” Riku told her. “Meet him oh no Riku I cant do that” Rin said “why not, you are in love with him” Riku told her. “In love with him, no I cant be because I don’t even know him” now Rin was all confused. “Well we are going to find this dude and you are going to introduce yourself to him” Riku told her just when the school bell went.

After school ended Rin was walking to the bus stop since she didn’t have to stay behind this time she had at least fifteen minutes before the bus came. It took Rin nearly ten minutes to get to the stop. Rin sat down at the bus stop but this time she didn’t see the young man that she saw a few days ago. ‘I wonder who he was’ Rin thought to herself. Rin was becoming a bit thirsty and she saw a small shop just across the street, she looked at her watch and she had at least five minutes to spare until the bus would come.

Rin ran across the road and walked into the shop to buy herself a drink. After she had bought the drink Rin walked out the door when she accidentally bumped into someone and her drink fell to the ground. “Oh no” she said looking at her juice which was now all over the ground “and that was the only money I had left” Rin didn’t even realize who she bumped into when she looked up. “Oh my god it’s you” Rin said out loud before she quickly put her hand over her mouth realizing what she just said. Sesshomaru looked at the young girl in front of him and was thinking if he knew her since she seemed to know him.

Then it came to Sesshomaru, she was the girl who he saw sitting at the bus stop across the road. Rin was looking at him “your bus is leaving” Sesshomaru told her, ‘he’s so cute’ Rin thought ‘wait did he just say my bus is leaving’ she thought. Rin looked across the street and her bus was driving of. “OH NO I MISSED IT AGAIN” she yelled watching the bus drive of and had her hands on her head. “Mum is going to be so angry that I missed it again and she wont let me catch the bus anymore I just know it” Rin said forgetting that she wasn’t alone. “It is just my luck now I have no choice but to walk home” Rin was still talking to herself.

Sesshomaru was thinking what a strange girl she was, “would you like a ride home” he asked not even thinking about what he had just said. When Rin heard what he had just asked her, she couldn’t believe it ‘say something you dope’ she said to herself but this time in her head. ‘Stop looking at him and say something’ she thought again. “That’s very nice of you but I’m not aloud to take rides from strangers” she said. ‘That’s just great Rin, here you are face to face with him and your saying no’ she couldn’t stop talking in her head. “It is either me taking you home or being told that you can never catch the bus again its your choice” Sesshomaru said. ‘What the hell am I doing, I don’t even know this girl and she is way to young as well so I shouldn’t even be talking to her’ Sesshomaru said to himself in his head this time.

“Mr Hirashi we should be going” the driver said who was standing next to the limo. “I know, now would you like a ride or not” he said. The only words that came out of Rin’s mouth was “yes please”. They both hopped into the limo “were do you live” Sesshomaru asked her, so Rin gave him the address and they were on their way.

It was quiet in the limo not a word was said ‘okay Rin say something’ she thought to herself. “Thank you for taking me home” Rin said “your welcome” Sesshomaru replied why looking out the window. “I have never been in a limo before” Rin then said hoping to keep in a conversation with him. This was the only chance she would get to be able to talk to him even if she might never see him again. Sesshomaru was surprised that Rin had no idea who he actually was, she probably knew he was rich. Though she wasn’t like any other girl who would smother all over him just to get into his wallet. Rin wasn’t even going crazy like most girls do, which was kind of nice. Sesshomaru hated having woman screaming and saying they want him to marry them and other things.

“It’s a first time for everything” Sesshomaru replied coming out of his thoughts “I guess your right” Rin said. “If it is alright to ask but could you tell me your name, please” she asked him. “I am Sesshomaru Hirashi” he told her, “its very nice to meet you Mr Sesshomaru Hirashi my name is Rin Pearl” she replied. “So how old are you Miss Pearl” Sesshomaru asked her “my age well I am sixteen at the moment but in a week I will be turning seventeen” she told him. “So you are a teenager it’s a shame” Sesshomaru said. “What is a shame” Rin was a little confused at the moment. “Nothing” he said back, “sir we have arrived” the driver said from the front, Rin noticed that they were at her house.

“Well thank you again” and Rin opened the door “goodbye” and she closed it and watched the limo drive of. “I guess that will probably be the last time I will ever see him again, it would have been nice to have known him a little more, what am I thinking that would never happen besides I am only a kid to his eyes” Rin said to herself. The front door opened and her mother had come out so happy to see her daughter home. Since Rin was only a few minutes late, her mother was still worried about her.

Sesshomaru arrived back at home, the first thing he did was headed up to his bedroom. He dropped his briefcase on the table and then flopped on the bed. “What a day” he said to himself why just lying their letting his body relax for a few minutes. Sesshomaru then heard a knock on the door. “You may enter” and the door opened and one of his servants walked in “what is it now Jaken” Sesshomaru asked. “I am sorry to disturb you sir but Miss Kagura is on the phone” Jaken told him. “Tell her I’m busy” he said, “yes sir” Jaken was about to walk out when Sesshomaru said something else. “Oh and Jaken change the house phone number and my cell phone number so she doesn’t call me and also tell security at work to not allow her into the building I cant stand that woman anymore” Sesshomaru told him “yes sir” and Jaken walked out.

‘She might have been good at sex but that was all she was to me, nothing but a sex toy but I don’t need her anymore’ Sesshomaru thought to himself. Sesshomaru had met Kagura when some business men and himself went to a strip club. The old men forced Sesshomaru to go with them when he just wanted to go home. Kagura had come up to give Sesshomaru a table strip dance in front of him. Since then she had been bugging him by calling and visiting him in his office at work. Sesshomaru never liked her he just needed someone to have sex with, he was a guy after all.

Sesshomaru had been working rather late hours and now he had grown a bit tied and just wanted to fall asleep. Every president of a huge company needs a rest now and then otherwise they wont be able to focus on thier work properly. Sesshomaru was about to fall asleep when a small brunette figure entered his mind. He opened his eyes ‘shit I cant be thinking about her’ he thought referring to Rin. ‘The last thing I need is distractions’ he then thought, their were much more important things he had to do. The first one though was to sleep and get his energy back before he had to work again.

The weekend came and Rin and Riku were walking through the mall “oh my god I cant believe he actually gave you a ride home” Riku said after hearing the whole story from Rin. “Do you know what this means you are going to be on every hit magazine and newspaper” she then said. “No I’m not” Rin said, “oh yes you are, don’t you get it you were in the same car as Sesshomaru Hirashi the most famous billionaire bachelor in all of Japan, I am sure by tomorrow your face will be everywhere” Riku was so excited. “Riku no one even knew that I was in the car with him” Rin told her. “Come on Rin I am pretty sure either a news reporter or a press would have seen you since they would try and get any story about Sesshomaru, like he is one of the hottest guys in all of Japan and that every woman wants him” Riku said. “Rin you are one lucky girl”, “look Riku I said no one would know” Rin said.

“Look its her its Rin Pearl” someone said, a news reporter not to far away had heard Rin’s name and he ran straight to her. Their were people surrounding Rin and the reporter pushed through the crowd. “Miss Pearl it is true that you are going out with Sesshomaru Hirashi” he asked, “um”, “how long has this secret relationship being going on for” he asked again. The reporter was throwing many questions at Rin and she didn’t know how to answer them. Riku grabbed Rin’s wrist and pushed through the crowd to get away. Once they were out of the mall and their was no sighn of that reporter they tried to catch their breath. “See I told you” Riku said, “I cant believe it, what do you think I should do” Rin asked. “I think you should go see Sesshomaru and talk to him about it I am sure he can help you” Riku told her. “There is only one problem I don’t know where he lives” Rin said. “Well then you will have to go to were he works and I know exactly were that is” Riku replied.

“Welcome to Inutaisho Corporation” Riku said, standing out the front of the huge building with Rin. “Its so big” Rin said, “well duh it is the largest corporation in Japan and probably the whole world as well” Riku replied. “How do you know all this” she asked her best friend “everyone knows about Sesshomaru Hirashi and the company he runs I am shocked you have never heard of him” Riku said. “Well my parents don’t allow me to watch much TV and so that’s probably why” Rin replied. “Okay enough chit chat its time to go in their and talk to Mr big shot” Riku said and they both walked into the building. Their was a big build board on the wall near the elevators. It showed what office was on what floor “ok now we need Mr Hirashi’s floor, which one which one” Riku looked on the board “ah here it is, my I cant believe there are so many floors” she said.

Rin pressed the up button and waited for one of the elevator doors to open ‘ding’ one opened and they walked in. Riku pressed the number of what floor they needed to go to and they felt the elevator go up. “I’m so nervous” Rin said, her hands were shaking a little bit “don’t worry Rin it will be okay just let me do all the talking ok” Riku told her and Rin nodded. They soon reached the very top floor of the building and the two friends walked up to the front desk. The receptionist looked at the two young girls before her. “Yes may I help you” she said “we would like to see Mr Hirashi” Riku asked. “I am sorry but Mr Hirashi wont be seeing anyone today and he wont be seeing two fan girls either” the receptionist said. “Fan girls, listen lady we need to see him because of him my friend here is having a bit of a problem which happens to involve him, so you get your boss to come out here before I barge into his office” Riku said yelling. Rin had never seen her best friend go of like that. First Riku was all excited about her being in magazines and also got a ride from Sesshomaru. Now it has all changed, ever since that reporter was pushing questions towards her, Riku didn’t seem all that excited anymore.

The door opened “Lisa what’s all the racket I am trying to work” Sesshomaru walked towards the desk when he saw Rin. “I am very sorry sir but this young girl was wanting to speak with you about her friend here” Lisa told him. “I see” Sesshomaru looked at Rin and could tell she was very nervous just seeing him. He had already heard on the news how they found out that Rin had cached a ride with him and probably thought that they were in a relationship. “Very well come in” and Sesshomaru walked back into his office with Riku and Rin following. The door shut behind them and Sesshomaru sat down at his desk.

“Please sit” he said and watched them sit down on the chairs on the other side of his huge desk. “So what is it that you wanted to speak to me about” Sesshomaru asked already having a slight idea what it is about. “My friend Rin here was questioned earlier on today at the mall by a reporter, he was asking her questions like if you two were in a relationship and that, so I thought that it would be a good idea to talk to you about it since you are a very high business man and you might be able to do something about it” Riku told him. “So you are thinking that I might be able to deal with the reporters and the press that they have made a huge mistake” Sesshomaru replied. “Yes that is all I am asking” Riku said, “I am sorry but I do not have time for that” he told her. “What but you have to otherwise Rin wont be able to go back to her private life” Riku said standing up. “What the press ask her is not my problem, she will just have to deal with it until this whole thing blows over, now please go I have a lot of work to do” Sesshomaru said.

Rin stood up “its okay Riku lets just go” she said placing her hand on her best friends shoulder. “No Rin its not okay, look Mr Hirashi this issue also includes you and because of this Rin’s life will get a lot more hectic and that’s something neither me or even her parents want, so you either help Rin or I will go down to the ‘Japan News Network’ and tell them personally that you sexually harassed Rin” Riku said. “No Riku don’t do that, please lets just go” Rin tried to stop Riku from getting even more angrier. “Do you think blackmailing me is a very smart thing to do miss Riku” he said. “I’m not afraid of you Mr Hirashi but I am sure you will be when the newspapers say in big letters ‘SESSHOMARU HIRASHI RAPES A TEENAGE GIRL’ that doesn’t sound to pleasing huh and I am sure after that your whole company will crumble you wouldn’t want to risk that now would you” Riku told him. Rin could barley even recognize her friend anymore after that. ‘He has to do something now, I will not let Rin get hurt because of him, and to think that I thought it was cool that Rin actually likes him but now I can tell he is nothing but a jerk’ Riku thought to herself.

After hearing that Sesshomaru was really pissed ‘if I don’t do something to help, she’ll deffiently go down and tell a lie about me to the news reporters, hmm she must really care about her friend to go to such measures’ Sesshomaru thought to himself. “Very well I will help your friend miss Riku but let me tell you I am not to happy about doing this since I have a company to run” Sesshomaru told her. “Well I am sure that you would like to have a company to run” Riku replied. Rin was glad that her best friend had calmed down it was rather scary seeing Riku get so mad. “Come back tomorrow and I shall have something ready to talk to you, about this slight problem” Sesshomaru told them. “Thank you very much and we will see you tomorrow” Riku said, “yes thank you very much” Rin then said and followed Riku out the door. Sesshomaru leaned back into his chair ‘well I guess I have some extra work on my hands’ he thought to himself.
