Kagome snuck out of Kaede’s hut, making sure not even Inuyasha heard her. She walked down to the small waterfall; she had seen Sesshomaru before. She only wished this time he was there. She prayed this wasn’t just another trick to get tetsiaga, or even just another way to make Inuyahsa mad. All day she had thought of him.

The way he would kiss her, when they finally met eyes. The way he would hold her if they ever made love. The way he would touch her, if he never told her he loved her.

“The best things are unexpected, ” she thought.

As she waited, she sat on the same rock as yesterday; the one with her juices spread all over it. It made her so excited to wait and see Sesshomaru. When she did, she promised herself she would please him in every way possible. As she was lost in thought, she didn’t realize the dark shadow behind her, breathing and sniffing in her scent.

Sesshomaru licked Kagome’s neck, and it made her jump. Once again they met eyes.

“Oh.. Sesshomaru.. I.I..I didn’t realize you were there. How long where you there?” she said.

“Long enough to hear you fantasizing about me” he smirked.

Kagome blushed. She quickly leaned in to kiss the demon, but he jerked her head back and spoke,

Kagome did as she was told. She wanted this, and she wasn’t going to blow it, let alone upset a demon.

Kagome smirked, and then fell to the ground, and laid next to her soul mate.

Still tired she managed to get dressed and back to the hut before Inuyasha could see her. She was worried and very suspicious as to why Inuyasha didn’t hear her footsteps or smell Sesshomaru’s scent on her, but it didn’t matter. As she slipped out of her clothes, she was startled by Inuyasha’s voice.


“Gone for a walk I see” Inuyasha said suspiciously.
“Ummm…yea a walk. Go to sleep Inuyasha.” she said.

“Hey, what’s that mark on your neck” he muttered.
“Oh..Umm, I fell and a tree branch scratched me” she whispered.

With her lasts word she fell asleep thinking about tomorrow night, but as she was dreaming Inuyasha could tell that wasn’t an ordinary scratch.

“I’ll have to follow you tomorrow Kagome, and see what your up to “ he thought

The night was old, and Sesshomaru wandered through the shadows. He knew right from the beginning why he had mounted that wench, and why every demon followed her scent.
She was in heat, and tomorrow would be no different.
