“Why are you blushing?” Sesshomaru asked.

“Why are you smirking?” Kagome shot back.

*Damn smart ass…Sesshomaru thought.*

“This Sesshomaru had personal thoughts to be smirking at and it’s none of your business.” Sesshomaru replied.

“Well this Kagome has her own reasons to blush.” Kagome said back quickly.

Sesshomaru walked up to her and pulled her towards to him…"Tell me what you were thinking." Sesshomaru demanded of her.

“Make me.” Kagome whispered in a husky voice causing a shiver to be sent down Sesshomaru's back.

Sesshomaru let her go…"In the closet there is Kimonos that you can choose from. When you're done come back to the dinning room to eat dinner.” Sesshomaru told her.

“Where’s Shippo?” Kagome asked.

“He’s playing with Rin and Jaken.” Sesshomaru stated.

“Oh okay.” Kagome said.

Sesshomaru stood there…"Well…" Kagome said.

“Well what?” Sesshomaru asked.

“Well I have to change so get out.” Kagome said looking at him with a DUH expression on her face.

“Oh right…though you should get used to undressing in front of me.” Sesshomaru said.

Kagome blushed and quickly turned around and Sesshomaru smirked and left.

Kagome undressed from her old clothes and put the Kimono on.

Though what she didn't know is that within the shadows Sesshomaru watched her undress.

*Why is it that I desire her so much? Sesshomaru thought and as he finished seeing the glory of her naked body he left to go to the dinning room.

Kagome fixed her hair in a pony tail and left her bangs down.

She went to the dinning room and sat in front of Sesshomaru.

*Why is he looking at me like that? Kagome thought as his servants were serving her.

They put a knife, fork, and spoon in front of her. They served her a plate of chicken with rice.

“You mind taking the knife away from me.” Kagome said looking up.

“Huh why?” Sesshomaru asked curiously.

“If you don't, I might hurt myself with it.” Kagome said removing her gloves and showing him the scars she had from the past times she had "hurt" herself.

As he saw Kagome remove the black gloves from her hands he stared in amusements at all the scars located in her arms mostly her left.

Sesshomaru nodded and took the knife away….”Why'd you hurt yourself?” Sesshomaru asked.

“I was already hurt. Why not literally hurt myself. As I felt with the stab of your pathetic brother which I no longer wish to hear his voice or even speak of such a pathetic creature.” Kagome replied looking at him.

“I agree…” Sesshomaru said taking a bite out of the chicken.

Kagome saw Shippo come to the table with Rin.

“Kagome…Kagome you're awake.” Shippo said running towards her.

“Yes my young one I'm awake now sit down and eat.” Kagome said smiling at the fox demon.

“Lord Sesshomaru who is she?” Rin asked him.

“She is soon to be the Western Princess of the lands as soon as I take her as my mate.” Sesshomaru said.

Rin nodded and sat down to eat.

“May I ask you one question?” Sesshomaru asked her.

“Yes, what is it?” Kagome asked.

“Is he your son?” Sesshomaru asked.

“I'm his adopted mother. His parents were killed by the Thunder Brothers. Now I have a question for you Lord Sesshomaru.” Kagome said looking directly at him.

“Yes?” Sesshomaru asked.

“Is she your daughter?” Kagome asked.

“No…same situation as yours…” Sesshomaru said.

Kagome looked at her plate and remembered something….

*Flash Back*

“Kagome…” Inuyasha said.

“Yes?” Kagome said.

“Never mind forget it….” Inuyasha said.

“Inuyasha?” Kagome asked.

“Yeah.” He said.

“When you look at me who do you see? Who do you think it is?” Kagome asked looking at him. “Can you answer with truth Inuyasha?” Kagome asked.

“Yes…I see you….” Inuyasha said looking at her for a long time making sure she was who he knew it was.

“Stop lying….” Kagome said.

“I'm not lying!” Inuyasha yelled out.

“Yes you are! I know when you look at me you see KIKYOU! I know you think it is Kikyou!” Kagome said.

Inuyasha sighs and looks at the ground.

“It’s true isn't it?” Kagome asked.

“And so what if it is” Inuyasha said still looking at the ground.

“I'm not Kikyou. I may look like her, but I'm different. Can't you see that! I'm not the person who you want me to be so stop thinking I am!” Kagome yelled at him.

“MAKE ME!” Inuyasha yelled back at her.

And there it came the stare that can send you to hell...”I ain’t laying you down.” Kagome said with tears in her eyes.

Inuyasha went to her…."Kagome are you mad at me?" Inuyasha asked.

“No Inuyasha, I'm not mad at you.” Kagome said in a gloomy voice.

“Are you sure? You look like it.” Inuyasha asked.

“Yes I'm sure….” Kagome said and turned away.

“Say Inuyasha?” Kagome asked.

“Yes?” Inuyasha said.

“Why do you think I'm mad at you if I'm not you are only making things worse!” Kagome said yelling at him pissed off.

“See you're mad!” Inuyasha said.

“Inuyasha! Oswari, oswari…oswari, oswari, oswari, oswari, OSWARI!” Kagome yelled.

Inuyasha fell flat on the ground and Kagome left him alone.

*End Of Flash Back*

Kagome let a tear drop from her face…and got up to go to her room.

Shippo was about to go after her…."No it's best to leave her alone for a bit." Sesshomaru said.

~~~Moments Later~~~

Sesshomaru knocked on her door…"It’s open…" Kagome said softly.

Sesshomaru opened it…."Kagome are you okay?" Sesshomaru asked.

Kagome went up to him. She began to cry and hugged him…"No…." Kagome said.

“It’s okay. I'm here.” Sesshomaru said.

She cried a little longer then her tears slowly turned to sobs.

She looked at Sesshomaru and Sesshomaru looked at her…."Sesshomaru don't…" Kagome said.

“Don't do what?” Sesshomaru asked.

Kagome continued to look at him.

"Don't do this?" Sesshomaru asked as he kissed her on the cheek.

“Thank you.” Kagome said.

Sesshomaru hugged her…"Best thing to do is to sleep….the young ones have gone already." Sesshomaru said.

Kagome nodded and lays on her bed….* I always thought Sesshomaru was…was cold and careless…I never thought he had feelings or can be gentle. Yet Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are different. Sesshomaru is more unique than Inuyasha was. Kagome thought before she fell asleep.*
