Sirens were born to be beautiful creatures that lived the earth. They were each born with spectacular voices and feminine bodies to engage in sexual contents with the outer world but the humans abused this privilege and demanded more from the sirens. Soon the sirens began to notice this abuse and decided to avenge their ancestors of the torture that they had to go through. Thus a siren was born from the depths of the sea, so beautiful and powerful above all that not even nature would deal with her but one youkai demon.

“Inuyasha-sama, the troops from the south has started to make their move here. I suggest we take action and send half of our troops to ambush them while we still can.” Miroku said, flipping out a map and pin pointing where the other troops were heading.

Inuyasha nodded and took a gulp of his whiskey bottle before setting it on the table.

“That is what they want us to do. We will wait and see of what they do next. I want you to send some of troops down to where they are and see of what plans they have. Make sure to keep me posted and make sure the soldiers are supplied with weapon, food, and water.” Inuyasha said, getting up and going to the opening of his tent as he looked out at the soldiers that were munching away at their breakfast.

“For how long?” Miroku asked, staring in awe at how dangerous it was and how dangerous it could get.

“Two weeks. By the end of two weeks, I want you all to report back to the campsite and give me whatever information you have. Even if we come up with nothing, I must risk it.” Inuyasha stated, turning towards Miroku with a frown.

“How many men should I take?” Miroku asked, taking a piece of paper on the desk and a feather pen as he began writing down what was needed.

“Not much. For this, we will need the smart asses to go but also the strong. I want you to take Yuki, Nakaoji, Li…and Hojo. Take these men and make sure you guys are not spotted.” Inuyasha said as Miroku looked up at him in confusion.

“Hojo…are you sure about this?” Miroku asked, holding the feather pen in midair.

Inuyasha turned towards Miroku and nodded. Jotting down Hojo’s name, Miroku sighed and looked at Inuyasha one last time before exiting the tent. Watching Miroku go, Inuyasha took another gulp of the whiskey and made his way towards the opening of his tent as he flipped the flannel aside and stared out into the forest. He knew that in order to get his sword back, he would need to play along with the siren’s foolish game, and then he’ll kill her. Walking back to his desk, Inuyasha sat in his chair and unrolled another map as he began forming up a plan to stop the south from entering the west before he got his sword back.

The sun had begun to set as Inuyasha overlooked the campsite and walked out of his tent. Miroku and the men he had sent to investigate had left far before noon and he only hoped that they’ll not reach them by the end of the two weeks. Walking over to the other side of the campsite, Inuyasha saddled his horse and looked once more at the sun as it settled behind the horizon and disappeared. Leading his horse to a bucket of water, Inuyasha tugged on his reins to get his attention and patted him gently on the neck as his horse began taking sips of the clean water one of his men had boiled up to get rid of the dirt. Tugging on his reins again, Inuyasha looked up and notice that the moon had come up pretty quick and that the stars were already popping up in the midnight sky. Getting onto his horse, Inuyasha saluted his soldiers and left the campsite as he rode into the forest and didn’t stop to tie his horse.

Coming to the waterfall, Inuyasha almost gasped at the sight before him as he felt a slow warmth embrace his body, warming up to his cheeks. Before him was the siren, fully naked before him with her lushes curves bared to his eyes and her chin tilted up as she bathed in the moonlight of the night under the waterfall. Sensing him, Kagome turned and smiled sweetly at him as Kagome stepped out from underneath the waterfall and slipped on her gown she had placed near the edge of the water fall. Combing her hair with her fingers, Kagome made her way up to Inuyasha and his horse as Kagome held out a hand to pat the mares head.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you. He bites.” Inuyasha warned with a stern voice.

Kagome only smiled as she gently placed her fingers on the mares’ nose.

“Tonight I am love struck… Your caress makes me thirst for more…your lips so tenderly upon mine…in your embrace I melt with pleasure…I can’t stop myself from loving you…can you stop yourself from loving me…don’t make this heart stop…because it’s finally beating…beating for you…” Kagome sang softly, sliding her hand up the mares’ head as Kagome gently scratched his ears.

“What is his name?” Kagome asked, patting the mare on the head.

“I do not have a name for him and how can you tell if it is a guy or girl?” Inuyasha questioned, surprised at her intelligence.

“I can tell because his presence is the same as yours.” Kagome stated with another smile.

Inuyasha, taken back by her comment, got off his horse and pulled on his reins as Inuyasha tightly tied his reins to a tree near by.

“Tusk. I would name him Tusk.” Kagome said after Inuyasha had turned around to face her.

Inuyasha stared at her and then stepped towards her in strides as he held out his hands and stared at her directly in the eyes.

“Give me my sword.” Inuaysha demanded.

Kagome took a step forward and pushed his arm away.

“What sword?” Kagome questioned with a glint in her eyes.

“Do not play with me woman. I know exactly what your game is and I know exactly what you want of me! Now give me my sword and I’ll give you want you want!” Inuyasha barked with anger.

“Are you sure you are willing to play my game? Are you sure you are willingly to risk your life for this sword of yours?” Kagome asked, sliding a finger up his hard chest and across his jaw.

Holding back a groan at her gentle touch, Inuyasha pulled her closer and tilted her head back as Inuyasha angrily glared at her.

“How about we make a deal?” Inuyasha asked, gripping her hard by the waist.

Kagome tilted her head to the side and smiled as she drew a finger across his jaw again, this time earning herself a small groan.

“What kind of deal?” Kagome asked curious.

Inuyasha let her go and held back a groan as he held his arms across his chest.

“If I get my sword back, I promise my life will be in your hands after I win the war. It is either you take it or leave it.” Inuyasha stated turning to go back towards his horse.

“Deal.” Kagome replied rather quickly.

Inuyasha, surprised, turned back towards her and gave her a questioning look.

“What?” Inuaysha questioned in a state of confusion.

“I said deal but if we play at this game, you would have to go by my game.” Kagome said taking strides towards him.

Inuyasha stood his ground and tried to look as if he wasn’t aroused by the sensual way she moved or the way she came up to him so that her breasts were slightly pressed up against his chest.

“What is it then?” Inuaysha asked.

Kagome smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck as she brought his head down.

“In order for you to get your sword back, you must follow my every order and follow my every will if not, then you will never get your sword back.” Kagome said, breathing softly against his lips as she let him go and took a couple of steps back.

“What! Are you threatening me now?” Inuaysha said angrily at the demands she wanted.

“No. I am, well let’s say, wagering. I go by your game and you go by mine.” Kagome said with a small smile.

Inuyasha cursed at himself in frustration. If he wagered now, he can get his sword back and kill her but if he didn’t, he’ll never get his sword back and he’ll never win the war.

“Fine! I’ll do it! Now give me my sword!” Inuyasha exclaimed, as a small sneer played upon his lips.

Kagome giggled and shook her head.

“I never said I’ll be giving you your sword right now.” Kagome said, giggling even louder.

Inuyasha angrily took her by the neck and glared at her with a lust to kill.

“Don’t play with my wench! A deal is a deal!” Inuyasha roared.

Kagome lifted her hands and placed them gently on the hand that held her throat.

“Our deal was that you are obligated to do what I say and then I decide when I should give you back your sword. That was the deal.” Kagome stated in a calm tone.

Inuyasha shot her a frustrated look and cursed silently under his breath as he loosened his grip and pushed her away.

“You know you should be thankful I haven’t killed you yet.” Kagome said with a smile.

“I should be thankful! You should be thankful I haven’t killed you yet.” Inuyasha said crossing his arms over his chest again.

“Well, seeing how it was lat time, you should rethink that over.” Kagome said in a mocking tone as another giggled escaped her lips.

Inuaysha sneered at her and cursed again, this time loud enough so that it echoed throughout the night of the forest.

“My, what words you use.” Kagome said, looking at him in a playful manner.

“Don’t give me your bullshit. I’m leaving.” Inuyasha declared walking towards his horse.

“Wait! There’s something that I want you to do.” Kagome said as Inuyasha turned back to look at her.

“Could you please bring me a ripe red apple?” Kagome asked with a gentle smile.

Inuyasha gave her a look of utter confusion and stupidity at what she was asking for.

“Just because we made the deal doesn’t mean that I have to be your mommy and get you a damn fruit that grows all over this damn forest.” Inuyasha retorted with his hands on his hips.

Kagome’s smile faltered and after a moment, Kagome nodded.

“I guess you don’t know what really happens to a siren once she wonders too far from where she was born.” Kagome asked, seeing the questioning look on his face.

“This right here is where I shall live until my dying days. I may not wonder too far and leave this place. If I do, my soul will disappear with time and I will be nothing more then ashes.” Kagome explained, holding out one of her arms towards the waterfall. “The carved stone is a sign that this is my permanent home. The waterfall is my life force. If the waterfall was to go dry, I would probably wither and my name on the stone will disappear. That is how a siren lives.”

Inuyasha gazed at her and turned his attentions away when he saw the gentle look she held in her eyes.
“Then why would you need a damn apple if that damn waterfall is your life force? You wouldn’t even need to eat at all.” Inuyasha said turning back to look at her.

“I have never tasted anything like a fruit before. All I remembered was hearing about it and how sweet it tasted when it was ripe. I just thought that maybe one day I’ll get to taste one before I withered away.” Kagome said, tilting her head to stare at the moon.

Inuyasha sighed and untied the reins of his horse as he climbed onto his horse.

“Going already?” Kagome asked, as she averted her gaze towards him.

Inuyasha nodded and shot her a look.

“Were you ever lonely?” Inuyasha asked, as a flickered of sadness crossed her eyes.

“Yes, I was.” Kagome said turning her back towards him.

Inuyasha gave her back a stern look and pulled on his horse’s reins as he kicked his horse forward. Stopping he turned to look back at Kagome and sighed.

“Why do you sirens kill us demons or worthless humans?” Inuyasha questioned over his shoulder.

“That, I can not tell.” Kagome said with a sly smile.

Inuyasha gazed at her for a moment and kicked his horse as they disappeared with only the echoing of hooves singing into the night. Kagome stood rooted to where she was and stared into the depths of the forest as the echoing disappeared.

“Good night young prince.” Kagome whispered into the wind as she disappeared behind the waterfall.

“Inuyasha-sama, a letter has arrived from Houshi-sama.” A soldier exclaimed as he came rushing into Inuaysha’s tent.

Holding out the letter towards Inuyasha, Inuyasha grasped it and unrolled it as he quickly read it and threw it onto his desk.

“Damn! You, tell the soldiers to line up, now!” Inuyasha roared as he landed a fist onto the desk.

The soldier nodded and exited the tent. Sighing in frustration, it had only been two days since Miroku and four of his soldiers departed and already the south was making progress in their military defenses, weapons, and in only two days they had made progress in reaching them while they were sitting like ducks waiting to be killed.

“Damn!” Inuyasha cursed.

It all began because every kingdom wanted power and if they didn’t have power, there would be war. When the south had bombed the western kingdom, Inuyasha was furious at the demand that they join the south’s treaty if not, there was sure to be blood shed. Not wanting to waste time, Inuyasha had declared war on the south and here they were, a month later with nothing more then a letter saying that the south were preparing and ready for battle.

Cursing again, Inuyasha made his way outside and cursed again for not having his sword and stared at the formation of the men that stood in their lines.

“Men, as your prince, I am demanding that you all to prepare for battle and be ready for the toughest time of your life. During training, I will test how strong you are and how willingly you are to fight for you country. If you think that you are not ready, then I suggest that you pack and leave because I don’t need wimps to be a part of this army, of my army, but if you are willingly, training starts tomorrow morning. So be prepared to die.” Inuyasha stated as he gave them all a stern and prideful look before entering his tent again.

Hearing shouts of joy, Inuyasha walked towards his desk and plunged into the softness of his chair as he sighed in frustration and picked up the letter he had thrown onto the desk earlier. Noticing the red apple, Inuyasha laid the letter down and picked up the apple as he stared at it and placed it back onto the desk.

“I can’t believe I’m doing this.” Inuyasha said as he cursed at himself and laid out a map as he reread the letter again.

When night came and silence hung in the air, Inuyasha exited from his tent and made his way onto the other side of the campsite as he saddles his horse and untied the reins. Getting on, Inuyasha made his way into the forest, cursing at himself for having to sneak out during the middle of the night to go and see the siren without wanting his men to know. As soon as he had reached his destination, Inuyasha tied his horse to a tree and walked the rest of the way as he came upon the waterfall.

Turning around, Inuyasha came face to face with Kagome as she held up her hands and smiled gently at him.

“You found me. I wanted to surprise you.” Kagome said, disappointed at the fact that he had spoiled her fun.

“So, did you bring it?” Kagome asked as she held her hands out.

Inuyasha nodded and slipped a hand into his shirt as he brought out a deep and colored red apple that glimmered slightly under the moonlights gaze. Placing it in her hands, Kagome smiled happily at the smooth texture that the apple held and rolled it around in her hands as she examined it with interest.

“For goodness sake, it’s a damn apple!” Inuyasha said in annoyance.

“Thank you.” Kagome said as she placed the warmest and softest smile upon her face.

Holding the apple in one hand, Kagome leaned up and placed a soft kiss on his cheek as Kagome walked away and took a small bite of the apple, taking in the feel and taste of the sweetness that it held.

Staring at her back, Inuyasha lifted a hand to where she had placed her lips and felt a sudden warmth spread throughout his body as he watched her ate the apple in happiness. He never knew how happy he had made her by bringing her one apple and it was enough to make his heart flutter. Shaking aside those thoughts, Inuyasha made his way towards her and almost faltered in his steps when she whipped around with a finished core in her hands.

“All done!” Kagome exclaimed as a certain joy glimmered in her wide brown eyes.

“Don’t give it to me damn wench. Throw it away somewhere.” Inuyasha said as he pointed towards a bush.

“No, I think I’ll keep it and plant my own apple tree, and then I could have all the apples I want.” Kagome said with a beaming smile.

Inuyasha gave her a stern look and brought up a hand to wipe away at the corners of her lips that was covered with crumbs of the apple and retreated back his hand when he suddenly realized what he was doing.

“Thank you again.” Kagome said as she walked towards the water fall and dipped the core into the water.

Washing her cheeks and hands, Kagome placed the apple core aside and turned to stand and gasped when she came in contact with Inuyasha’s soft chest.

“Anything else?” Inuaysha questioned with an annoyed look.

“Umm…” Kagome hummed as she lifted her chin and tapped a finger gently against her chin.

“Ah! Tomorrow is the night of when I worship my ancestors and I would personally like to invite you to come and watch me tomorrow night.” Kagome said.

“What! No!” Inuayasha declared, walking away.

“Okay, but remembered that I have your precious sword and that you may never get it back.” Kagome reminded him as she cast him a glance.

Inuyasha balled his hands and cursed at her as he forced himself to nod.

“Good.” Kagome said as she took several strides towards him and took a hold of his hand.

Surprised, Inuyasha turned at her soft beckoning and gasped in bewilderment when she placed it over her left cheek.

“Kiss me?” Kagome asked, looking up at him with lust filled eyes as she leaned up.

Dipping his head, Inuyasha gazed at her for a moment and finally kissed her away into the silence of the night.
