‘Please don’t let this be a dream’ kagome thought as she hugged inuyasha tightly and without reserve.
“Thank you inuyasha, I promise I will be ready soon. But right now lets sleep ok?” she says as she scoots over in her bed to let him in. He climbs into the bed and wraps his arms around kagome’s lithe form.
‘I am so lucky to have kagome. And to think I was going to choose that dead clay pot kikyou. Feh Yeah right. Her body is so warm next to mine.I must protect her. She is MINE and no one else can have her’ Inuyasha thinks as he tightens his grip around her waist.

‘I walk through inuyasha’s forest looking for something but I do not know what it is.”INUYASHA ” I yell into the emptiness. “Inuyasha where are you? I cant find you.” I yell one more time before giving up and starting my search. I see a blur of white flash before me . “ EEP ” ‘ it must have been a trick. Stupid getting all scared...’ I stand in shear horror as I am staring at inuyasha’s older bother sesshomaru. “Hello little miko” his stotic arrogant voice chimes. I shiver in complete fear as he starts to laugh. “What...what do you want?” I ask fearful and hating the way my voice sounds against the own ears. Sesshomaru’s eyes flicker with the dull sign of emotion. “ I have come to take what is mine”he says as he takes a step toward kagome. She instantly stiffens.”wh...what? I am not yours and my name is kagome got it? KA...GO...ME ” she yells in her fear filled voice. Instantly she can not breath. “ do not ever talk to this sesshomaru in that tone of voice again or you will find yourself without a voice to speak with. Am I understood?” he says icily while waiting for her reply. All she can do is make a small noise in the back of her throat as black dots dance in front of her vision. He smirks and drops her to the ground. Reveling in hearing her gasp in much needed air. “You are to be mine little miko” he snarls. She backs away up against a tree fearful of what he plans to do.”n...no I am inuyasha’s mate You can not have me...INUYASHA INU...” she is quickly silenced by sesshomaru’s grip on her throat. “That pathetic halfbreed can not save you. As we speak he is wooing the dead bitch.” he smirks as her eyes flash in anger and disbelief.”ne...NEVER ” she manages to squeak out before falling into the black oblivion of darkness.

“Inu...INUYASHA ” kagome screams into the night. Instantly inuyasha is awoken and is ready to attack the unknown assailant of kagome’s.
He turns to hear her whimper in her sleep. He can smell the terror and fear laced with her heavenly sent.
“Kagome, wake up it is just a dream. You are safe here with me” he says soothingly while brushing her inky black locks out of her face.
”inuyasha” she sobs in her sleep “how could you...I loved you” her body wracked with sobs.
Inuyasha’s eyes widen in horror as to what she is dreaming about. He shakes her violently startling her from her dream. Kagome is awakened by a violent shaking.
“Wha...inuyasha”she states sadly.
“what the hell was that kagome?” he looks at her with confusion and concern.
“It...it was just a bad dream now lets go to back to sleep.
Kagome whimpers slightly for fear of the dream coming back. Inuyasha senses her fear and gently nuzzles her neck and growls softly letting her know she is safe. Soon sleep claims her and she falls into the black oblivion of dreamless sleep.
‘What happened to her? She was sleeping so peacfully at first, then her sent was spiked with fear and terror.I must protect her....in physical danger as well as mental...she is MINE and I will protect her at all costs’ inuyasha thinks befpre letting sleep claim him as well.
I know I am sorry I left it hanging there gomen but you have to admit this is getting good hehehe...I want at least 10 reviews for the next chappy...no 10 reviews no 3rd chappy....sorry that is just the way the bonsai tree sways in the proverbial wind hehehe. Dewa mata
