Chapter 2: Confession/Shelter

Sango kept going fighting the horrid weather trying to get to her friend to save her and bring the real Inuyasha back but she could barely get forward then she finally spotted them. She couldn’t believe what she saw Kagome was laying on the muddy ground with Inuyasha above her. Her upper body was completely naked and she was drinking his blood, and Sango didn’t need to be an academic to know that by now he has already marked her.

“Oh no!” thought the exterminator “I’m too late!” “Kagome don’t drink his blood it’ll turn you into a hanyou!!!” she screamed with full force knowing well that it is too late. The girl in Inuyasha’s hands somehow found it relaxing to drink his blood but when she heard what her friend was yelling to her she tensed up again. She tried to pull her head away but was soon brought back to the hanyou’s bleeding limb.

“Drink!” he commanded.

“Inuyasha...” Kagome was cut short as the hanyou brought his wrist closed to her mouth.

“I just want to ask something.” she said almost pleading. The male dog’s answer a grunt but somehow Kagome felt that he allowed her to speak and knowing how Inuyasha acted in this state this alone was a miracle.

“Why do you want me to become a hanyou? Am I not good enough as a human?” asked Kagome barely above a whisper.

Inuyasha let out a long and deep growl he grabbed her shoulders squeezing so hard that it almost hurt. He forced her to look up and looked into her eyes but he didn’t have time to say anything because Sango got too close for his liking. He turned around and eyed the soaked woman who was once again trying to take his mate away.

“Don’t come closer!” he growled in a deep tone.

“Inuyasha you are not yourself please let’s talk about this if you continue like this she’ll hate you for sure.”

Inuyasha tightened his hold on Kagome and growled at Sango with his eyes glowing even redder than ever before. “She’s mine and I won’t let you take her!” The exterminator took a several steps forward cursing that she forgot the Tetsusaiga in the old hut. Inuyasha started to back then he turned around and started to run, Sango tried to follow but she slipped on the muddy ground and fell, by the time she was able to get up Inuyasha was already out of site along with Kagome.

Kagome once again found Inuyasha’s hand in front of her face. “Drink!”

Kagome pushed his hand aside and pulled herself up to Inuyasha’s face then she looked deep into the hanyou’s red eyes hoping to be able to get some reaction. He growled more than ever before, warning her not to challenge him. “Inuyasha please I beg you tell me why do you want me to become a hanyou!” asked the girl hoping that some miracle would make him answer.

Even Kagome couldn’t imagine how but demon Inuyasha decided to do the very same “I’ll turn you into a hanyou because I want you to live as long as I do and you’ll be able to defend our pups better.”

“Inuyasha it’s not that. What you said earlier. Do you really love me? Is that why you want me to change so I can be with you?” asked Kagome hopefully.

“Why else would I be doing this woman?” asked the demon. “My other half is too stupid to act, at least he could have started that silly human courting thing!”

“That’s not silly!” she answered yelling, then her voice softened. “So you love me?”

“I already told you woman.” growled Inuyasha. “I love you. I don’t understand you human females. Even the human in me is stronger than any males of your kind.”

“Well my kind has that “silly courting thing” instead of your stupid "I’ll pick the strongest". If I would work like a demon I would have long ago married Sesshoumaru!” Inuyasha snarled at this. “Admit that the human way is not silly?” the answer was another set of growls this time much softer though demon Inuyasha was somewhat angry at the girl, but he knew that she was right. He let out a deep growl that resonated through Kagome’s chest scaring the girl to death. “All right, You can have that courting thing.” he said in a snarling voice.

A full-grown smile appeared on Kagome’s face after she heard this she slid back into Inuyasha’s hands, she grabbed his wounded arm and brought his wrist to her mouth. “Inuyasha I... I want to return your love, I just need some time.” She saw a soft smile appear on Inuyasha’s face which was alone shocking since this happened when his demon blood was having full control. This made her relax she placed her mouth onto Inuyasha’s wound and started to drink again.

“That’s a good bitch!” murmured Inuyasha into Kagome’s ear she smiled and continued to lap up his blood. “I want you to promise me something!” he said in his raspy voice. Kagome looked up at Inuyasha not stopping what she was doing. She knew that Inuyasha has started to calm down she inwardly smiled seeing that his expressions were softening and that the two purple streaks on the sides his face were starting to disappear.

“If your demon self awakens “I” want to take her first!” Kagome was about to nod when Inuyasha pulled her up. He placed his lips on hers kissing her so hard that soon she could feel her blood flowing into her mouth, from her tortured lips but she didn’t care.

With time the force of the kiss lessened and she opened her mouth for him to enter Inuyasha immediately complied entering her mouth savouring her sweet taste. Suddenly the hanyou came to a dead stop and exited her mouth in a blink of an eye. He couldn’t believe what he just experienced.

Somehow Kagome ended up in his arms and she was kissing her, it was then that he noticed that they were standing in the middle of the biggest storm he ever saw. Both of them were soaked. Kagome’s lips were puffy from the kiss they just ended and when he looked down he saw that the front of Kagome’s shirt was ripped open and one of her nipples was staring up at him from between her clothes.

“No!” he screamed letting her go, luckily or not it depends on your point of view since she landed in the middle of a puddle of mud and didn’t hurt herself.

“What’s wrong Inuyasha?” she asked surprised, then she saw that Inuyasha’s eyes have returned to their normal amber colour. “Oh... you don’t remember.”

“Did... did I do something bad to you?” he asked preparing for the worst.

A mocking smile appeared on her lips she slowly stood up from the oozy ground and walked or more like fought her way to him. “Well you did scare me half to death! But it looks like your demon half has much more guts than you have.”

“What are you talking about wench!” snapped Inuyasha going back into tough guy mode. Acting as if he wouldn’t be bothered by the weather.

“I’m talking about this!” she answered pulling the remains of her uniform from her shoulder to reveal his mark. Inuyasha was speechless his mouth hung wide open but he didn’t dare to say a word. “By the way I prefer bitch above wench.” then she fell into her thoughts “Hey what did I just say? I guess I’m already starting to transform.”

“Huh?” was Inuyasha’s intelligent question after hearing Kagome’s remark about what she likes to be called.

Her mocking smile turned to a sly grin “Well looks like your blood started to do its deed.” She answered while lifting his hand to show him his wrist. Inuyasha couldn’t believe it.

“Are you not mad at me?” he asked. In the very same second another gust of wind swept across the land and knocked both onto the mushy ground.

Kagome slowly got up and leaned against the hanyou. “No not at all!” she said “I love you stupid! Or do you think I would be still here if it would be some other way.” once again the wind interrupted the talk Kagome clutched to the hanyou with all her power afraid that she might get swept away.

The girl was shocked when she felt herself being lifted off the ground. But she soon relaxed again when she felt a soft kiss on her neck. “I love you too wench.”

Kagome growled. “Don’t call me wench.”

“Whatever! I my other half was probably planning to take you to a very special place.” he said leaning down to her and capturing her lips, but he immediately ended the kiss because of Kagome yelped in pain and pulled away.

“I’m sorry Inuyasha I think my lips are still a little bit sore!”

“It’s ok woman!” he said nuzzling his mark on her. He stood up and started to run towards the nearest safe haven he knew about.

Sango finally fought her way inside of the hut despite the storm’s attempts top stop her. She fell to her knees panting heavily. “Damn it!” she cursed hitting the wooden floor several times. The wooden plates gave more and more in to her fist’s merciless impacts. Then they gave up the fight and gave way to the young woman’s fist. Sango didn’t retrieve her fist from the hole, she didn’t care that there were several splinters in her hand she simply fell to the ground weeping. “This can’t be happening. I’m sorry little sister. I hope you can forgive me.” she cried.

Kirara walked up to her owner looking at the human with concern in her little cat eyes. She leaned against Sango’s form rubbing herself against the human. Sango slowly lifted her uninjured hand and started to pet her. Kirara soon moved over to the demon slayer’s other side keeping constant contact with her body. The small two tailed cat took the hem of her master’s clothing in her mouth, and pulled on it moving Sango’s hand from the hole.

The huntress hissed in pain as she felt her fist being freed from the pile of broken wood. Kirara quickly proceeded she moved to her hand and started to lick the bleeding wounds. Sango finally gave in and let her head fall to the ground. “I’m sorry Kagome.” she mumbled.

It was now that Miroku slowly came out of his slumber. He sat up rubbing his sore head and looked around in the hut. He quickly noticed Shippo who was still out could, though by now he was simply asleep. Then he found Sango who was crying on the floor. As his memories slowly started to come back to him he became more and more horrid. He silently moved up to Sango and laid one of his arms around her.

The huntress flinched in fear and her head shot up searching for a possible attacker, but she relaxed one she saw Miroku’s worried expression. “Don’t worry Sango. The way I know Kagome she long ago made him calm down.” he reassured.

The huntress shook her head. “No, you don’t understand!” she answered with tear all over her face. “W...when I found them. *hiccough* Inuyasha..., he just tore Kagome’s shirt apart... he was making her drink his blood.” Sango couldn’t hold it back anymore and broke down in tears.

Miroku didn’t know what to answer. Over his long years as a monk he never had to deal with such a situation. He pulled Sango closer and looked forward with bleak eyes. For once there was not even the slightest trace of perversity in those. “I swear Inuyasha if you did something to Kagome.” he thought to himself.

When Inuyasha and Kagome arrived at their destination she immediately knew why Inuyasha’s demon part wanted to take her there. One thing was sure, nobody would have hear her screaming. She was surprised when Inuyasha didn’t stop at the entrance of the cave. He moved further into the cave still running with an incredible speed. “Where are we going?” she asked warily.

“To a very special place.” answered Inuyasha.

“But where is that?” asked Kagome starting to get irritated.

“You’ll see.” came the response. Kagome didn’t bother anymore with asking. She knew well that she won’t get the answer out of the hanyou. She didn’t really care as long he took her to a safe place. The young miko’s thoughts were soon interrupted by a light that she saw coming from the end of the tunnel. Not much later Inuyasha slowed down and he completely came to a stop when he reached a hall filled with different kinds of crystals. All of those were emitting a dim light.

“It’s beautiful.” mumbled Kagome.

“You like it?” asked Inuyasha. The girl nodded.

“You’re not the only one.” started Inuyasha. “This was always my favourite hiding spot. Only a few know about it and they prefer to keep it a secret.” while telling all these words he moved into the cavern and over to a small opening in the side of the room. Kagome soon spotted the entrance of a smaller side cavern that was hidden behind one of the crystal pillars.

Inuyasha moved towards the entrance while Kagome got lost in the beauty of the room. She was soon brought out of it as a drop of water landed right on her nose. Are you sure that this is a safe place with that storm out there?”

“Don’t worry woman this place is will stay dry.” reassured Inuyasha.

Kagome had no more time to protest. The two entered the small side room where Inuyasha was headed. To the girl’s dismay the first thing she spotted was the hay bed in the far corner. Of course she immediately stiffened. The problem was that fear was only a small part of the reson of her reaction. Inuyasha smirked when he felt the scent of her arousal in the air. “And you’re telling me that things are going too fast?”

Kagome’s cheeks flushed with the deepest crimson colour possible on a human face. “It’s not like that!” she wailed.

“Your scent is telling me the opposite.”

“Don’t you even think about it!” warned the girl.

“Sorry woman but I already did.” answered the hanyou putting her down on the makeshift bed. Kagome was about to protest when he backed away.

“Take off those clothes!” he commanded.

“Inuyasha why you!”

“What? We’re already married in demon terms, so cut the crap with the modesty.”

“Sit boy!” Inuyasha’s necklace glowed, but once again it was Kagome who met the floor. At first, Inuyasha wanted to laugh, but when the scent of blood came to him, he immediately forgot everything about the funny fact that Kagome just sat herself. He jumped next to the now moaning girl and helped her up. Kagome reached for her bleeding nose seeing if everything was in its proper place.

“Are you all right?” asked the worried hanyou.

“I just banged my nose against the bottom of a cave. Of course I’m not all right!” mumbled Kagome. To her joy nothing broke and the blood spilled was everything that happened to her. Inuyasha looked at her with worried eyes trying to find any other Injuries except for the obvious nosebleed.

“Do you want me to bring some cold water?” he asked. Kagome nodded to him thankfully, while she tried to clean her nose with her quite wet paper tissue. Inuyasha grabbed a crock from the ground and took off deeper into the cave. Kagome kept her hands on her nose in hope to quell the bleeding while she looked around.

She immediately noticed that the place was quite comfy in cave-dwelling standards. There was a fireplace in the centre that had a small hatch above where the smoke could get out or at least to a place where it didn’t cause any trouble. Next to it there were several pots laying on the ground or on the shelf a little further away. She quickly noticed an old blanket next to the hay cot and pulled it across her lap so she can have a little extra warmth. “How the hell did I get myself in this mess.” she wondered.

Soon the chills running across her reminded her of the fact that her clothes are still quite wet. “I might as well take these off.” she thought eyeing the blanket. Kagome stood up while stuffing her napkin in her nose. She unfastened her skirt and let it fall to the ground that was soon followed by her half destroyed blouse and her panties. “I can be such a dunce at times. Inuyasha was only worried that I catch a cold.” she said to herself. “Stupid, stupid, stupid!” a shiver running across Kagome brought an end to her musings, she reached for the blanket, but stopped when she heard a loud urk from behind.

Kagome was like a deer caught in the headlights. She slowly turned around, to her shock she saw Inuyasha who was staring at her with his mouth agape. It was not the first time he saw her nude, but this time it was much different than ever before. Back then she was just a normal village girl in his eyes, since then a few things changed.

The crock slowly started to slip from the hanyou’s hand and fell to the ground where it broke into hundreds of little pieces. It was this crash that brought both of them back to reality. Kagome immediately jumped for the blanket to cover herself while Inuyasha looked away blushing. “Sorry.” he said under his breath.

“It’s all right.” responded Kagome. “You already said that I’m your wife in demon means, so I’ll deal with it.”

Inuyasha looked at the girl from the corner of his eye his face still covered by the scarlet blush. “Kagome remember I won’t push you. I only want you to be happy.” he slowly moved over to the fireplace and took a small iron pot, then he moved out again.

Kagome touched her flaming face while staring at the place where Inuyasha disappeared. “I also want you to be happy. That’s why I stay with you. I love you, you stupid dog.”
