Chapter 1.
-Back to School-
Rin had just turned 18, and her long brown hair had grown down to her waistline, her hazeleyes sparkled as she smiled at Kagome and threw her hair back. It was the first day of school, after a long nice summer vecation. And even though it was late August the sun was shining stronger than ever. She had been at her dads place most of the summer with Sango, laying on the beach.
”Mmm…school…homework, Just what every girl wants AGAIN…” Kagome mumbled.
”Dont worry, i can help you.”
”You know, you should be a tudor or something, you really are smart”.
Rin looked at her.
”Nah…I would never have the time. So how was summer with InuYasha?”
”Oh it was nice…”
Kagome was blushing.
”Ha ha! You’re blushing! What did really go down between the two of you?”
”N-n-nothing!”
The school bell rang.
”Well, you’re saved by the bell!”
”Ha ha haaaa….” she answered ironicly.
Suddenly she felt an arm sneak around her waist, she imediatly turned around.
”Inuyasha!” Kagome smiled.
He kissed her.
”Lets get to class guys…” Rin said and sighed heavily.
Neither she or Sango had any dates, and it was getting god damn boring seeing InuYasha and Kagome smooch around all day.
After a long tiring school day, they where finally allowed to go home.
”Wanna go grab a coffee guys?” Sango asked.
”No thanks im going to InuYashas on dinner. He had something to tell me, and theres gonna be some kind of party there…” Kagome replied and let out a big yawn.
”Rin?”
”Sure, i dont have to be home yet for a while.”
”Great! Where do you wanna go?”
”Uhm…Dunno.”
”Im turning left here” Kagome said smiling.
”Okay, see you tomorrow Kags, Bye!”
”Bye!”
They kept on walking into town.
At the Takashii Mansion.
- Welcome home Party.
Sesshoumaru slowly stepped out of the big black limousine that had picked him up earlier. He fixed his shirt and looked at the big mansion he called home. He hadn’t been home for almost five years now. His mother and father had sent him away to different boarding schools throughout the years. He detested them all. He probably would have stayed away longer if he could. But somehow it had turned out like this, and for once in his life he had to live with it. Even though he disliked it and didnt care if he showed it or not.
An old servant of his, Jaken, met him by the car.
”Lord Sesshoumaru! Can i take your bags.”
He nodded and gave him a look that could freeze fire.
”They’re in the back of the limo.”
Jaken nervously started to put his bags on the ground. Sesshoumaru started to walk against the house. When he opened the door, he heard a big:
”SURPRISE! WELCOME HOME SESSHOUMARU!”
He stared at them all and didnt move a muscle.
’A surprise party? Hm.’
He cracked a hardly noticable smile and walked in further. His mother hugged him tightly
”Welcome home Sesshy!”
His dad took his hand.
”Son, welcome home!”
”If you don’t mind, I’m going to bed.” He excused himself.
”Tired after the car ride?” InuYasha smirked.
”No, not really…” He said looking at him and walked upstairs.
He opened his door to his old room. The bed was left like it was before. Black satin sheets and white cold curtains. Nice and clean like he liked it. He looked himself in the mirror. His eyes stared back at him with a determination that he had felt so many times before. He would wait for this thing to blow over, but when he found the person who had…!
He clenched his fists together and shook of anger. He came back to reality by the smell of his blood. His nails had carved the palms of his hands. He sighed and grabbed a towel on his bathroom. Next week he would start at his brothers school. He would go there. Because his parents wanted it that way. He couldnt care any less. On the other hand, he never did.
-Rin-
Rin put her pyjamas on and crawled under her covers.
”Aah! So nice!”
She reached for her bedlight and put it out. Tomorrow was a new day. Sango had met a guy at the coffee house earlier. His name was Miroku. He seemed to be somewhat of a pervert…But if Sango wanted to date him it would be her problem.
’Whooo….I want to find someone to! ’
She remembered her last boyfriend. His name was Bankotsu. She had found him on the school bathroom with Kagura. The schools local…Well she easily sold her services. He pleaded for another chance but she didnt want him near her. And she could still hear Kaguras voice in the back of her head :
”Dont worry love, i gave it away for free.”
The whole situation disgusted her. So she had decided to find someone else. And not let him haunt her. She felt her mind slowly drift away and after a while she had fallen asleep.
-Next day-
-InuYasha has a brother?-
Rin woke up to the annoying sound of her alarm clock. She turned it off and fell back among her pillows. After a while she got out of bed. As she pulled the curtain up she saw it was raining. Quite heavily. She sighed and pulled out todays uniform and put it on, then she made her way to the kitchen.
“Ohayou Rin!” Her mother said smiling.
“Ohayou Mom”
“Its raining alot today, your father and me are gonna go to your aunt today and we are leaving pretty soon, do you want a ride to school?”
“Sure!” she smiled.
She quickly finished her breakfast and picked her stuff together. Then she called Kagome and asked if they could pick her up on the way.
When they got out of the car infront of the school, InuYasha, who had been sleeping over at Kagomes place, Kissed Kagomes cheek and said he was gonna go find his friends. When they where alone they started their usual morning gossip.
“So, how was dinner at Inu’s place?” Rin asked curiously.
“It was nice, though it wasnt a dinner as i thought, it was a welcome-home-party for his brother Sesshoumaru.”
Rin looked at her.
“InuYasha has a brother?”
“Mhm, i was really confused to, seems like hes been of to boarding schools and so, but i dont think he wants that, they keep on kicking him out for bad behavior or something...Didnt seem like the friendly type.”
“Hm...?”
“I mean they throw him a surprise party and he says hi to his parents and stares at InuYasha and me and goes to bed.”
Rin laughed.
“Yeah...really a nice guy.”
“Hm...Whats the first lesson?”
“Math.”
Kagome made a face and sighed.
“Oh well, wanna go to the mall later on?”
“Sure, lets check the schedule...”
Rin opened her backpack and pulled out a little black agenda.
“We only have three lessons today, nice! Wich makes us able to end...at noon!”
“Great, its settled” Kagome smiled.
They walked into the classroom and got seated.
-The Mall-
Rin just looked at Kagome she had bought...well probably more things than she needed. And looked like she was having trouble holding them all.
“Ungh! Rin Can you hold these for me while i go find a toilet?”
She smiled.
“Sure”
She handed her bags over and ran upstairs. Rin sighed and aimed for a bench on the other side of the hallway, as she moved towards it she suddenly felt how someone walked into her. Kagomes shoppingbags spred themselves in the area around her and Rin fell on her but. She looked up, and saw the most gorgeous guy ever. He had long silver hair, and was wearing black tight jeans and a black opened shirt.
“Hey you might wanna watch your step!” she said.
He just looked at her and said nothing. Then he turned around and started to walk away.
“Hey! Atleast you could have helped me up or something!”
Sesshoumaru smirked and kept on walking, Accidently he kicked away a shopping bag further away from her.
“Asshole!” she mumbled.
Sesshoumaru laughed to himself. What a stupid girl... Slowly She got up on her feet and started to collect her shoppingbags again. Kagome walked up to her.
“Rin what happened?”
“This stupid idiot walked into me! And he didnt even help me up!”
“What? Who?”
Rin got on her toes to see if she could find him.
“He left.Arrogant...stupid...” she mumbled.
“You didnt hurt yourself did you?”
“No.”
“Good, lets go home then im done.”
“Finally! “ she smiled.
They decided to take a subway train. As always they had to stand up, due to the massive crowd. After a few stations they finally got off.
Rin walked next to Kagome, and listened to her usual nagging about InuYasha. But she hardly picked up any of it. Somehow she couldnt forget the arrogant guy at the mall. His eyes...Pure gold and his face was beautiful,The way his shirt was opened, you could see his chest, she just wanted to...He looked good.
“Rin? Are you listening?”
“Hm? Oh sorry, i must have been dayrdreaming.”
“Are you still thinking of that guy?”
“What? No! Pscht...no way.”
She felt Kagomes burning eyes at her.
“Its nothing really, i gotto go home now see you later.”
“Okay, bye!” she smiled.
As she and kagome walked different ways the sun started to shine. She closed her eyes for a split second and turned around to walk into her house.
WHAM!
She got hit by a bike.
“Uff!”
She fell to the ground and hit her head in their fence.
“Ouch!”
“Can’t you watch where you’re going?! Stupid girl!”
She looked up, it was him again! Twice in one day! How unlucky could she get!
“I was!”
“It looked like you where sleepwalking to me!”
“Well i wasnt!” she replied coldly.
He sighed and shook his head.
“Who do you think you are?! You have no right to shake your head at me!”
Rin was furious, this guy got under her skin. And it bothered her.
“I dont have to answer you anything!” he said and stared her in the eyes.
“You must be the most...” she didnt finish her sentence.
“First of all YOU hit me, and now you’re blaming ME?!”
She gave him a look that could kill, then she turned right and went inside her house.
Sesshoumaru stared at her back.
‘That stupid girl!”
He sat back up on his bike and started his ride home.
-The Takashii Mansion-
-Movienight-
Sesshoumaru furiously parked his bike. Then he went inside. InuYasha sat at the dinnertable reading a comic book and eating a sandwich. He looked up when he heard the door close.
He looked at his brother.
“Oi, you look pissed.”
“Yeah.”
“Not in the talking mood?”
“Its been a messy day. I met the most stupid girl!”
InuYasha laughed.
“I know what you need, tonight theres gonna be a movie night here. Kagomes two friends will come and it will be relaxed. And i can introduce you.”
At first Sesshoumaru didnt say anything, but then he nodded.
“Great, it starts at 7 sharp.”
Rin, Sango and Kagome got out of Mirokus car. And Rin had to admit that he was a totally okay guy as long as he didnt touch Sangos ass... They rang the doorbell and InuYasha opened the door.
“Hi!”
He stepped aside.
“Come on in guys!”
They got in and took their shoes of.
“Well theres someone i want you all to meet!” he smiled.
“This is my brother Sesshoumaru!”
Rin froze and stared at him. He looked as chocked as she was.
“YOU!”
“YOU!”
