Down the well...again

Kagome turned her icy stare at Yusuke, the air was visibly colder. "I am not Kikyo, I am KAGOME."
Each word accentuated by a visible puff of cold air, the group looks at Hiei, who shakes his head; he wasn't responsible for the coldness. They all turned to Kagome; a bit amazed. She ran towards the temple her head down, "˜So I'm an ice kitsune.'
Hiei heard this and looked mildly interested, "This mission has gotten more interesting."
Yusuke and Kuwabara were shivering, their snot frozen, "What do mean more interesting, midget. You've alienated the girl and before I had a chance to ask her out."
Kagome arrived home and saw Houjo standing there on her doorstep, "Hey, Higurashi-chan, I was wondering if you had nothing to do perhaps you wanted to see that new shooting range downtown."
She nodded, she didn't want to stay in an obvious location incase those weirdoes decided to come looking for her. She pulled the notes from her bag and gave them to him with a small bow of gratitude. Kagome called out that she was leaving with Houjo; her mom stood at the door and oddly teary, she gave her daughter a hug. Kagome patted her mother on the back, "Its okay, 'kaa-san, we'll be back soon, right?"
Hojo nodded and they walked towards the train station. "So, Hojo-kun, what sort of range is it?"
Hojo looked at her, "It has the whole antiquated look to it, and it's a bow and arrow type."
Kagome mentally sweat dropped, "˜I can't fire an arrow; it'll disintegrate the target.'
Kagome smiled sweetly at him "How about I watch you fire arrows?"
Hojo nodded, "Are you afraid to shoot arrows; that you'll make a fool of yourself."
Kagome felt a vein pop on her forehead, "Yea, that's it, exactly"
Hojo placed an arm around her, "That's okay, Higurashi-chan. You can try next time."
She felt a cold presence behind her, turning and saw Hiei, standing there. She turned back to Hojo; he was oblivious, and so she started a fake cough. He placed a hand on her back, "I shouldn't have made you come, you are obviously not well enough to be out, don't worry we'll turn around."
They turned around and start the trek back to the temple. She stopped at the base of the stairs, "Hojo, you can go, we'll try this again, some other day."
Hojo walked away, waving at Kagome, who returned the wave, "˜How can he be so clueless?'
Hiei landed in front of her, "I agree, kitsune."
She froze staring at him, "I don't know what you are talking about?"
Hiei scoffed, "I heard your thoughts earlier, after you made it cold at the detective's school, ice kitsune."
She snarls, eyes narrowed, she didn't like this feeling of being cornered. The air around them was cooling fast. "It won't work on me."
Her eyes became slits when Shuichi came up to the two. "Hiei, stop, antagonizing her. She is obviously not trusting of demons. So what did you do to upset her?"
Hiei, "Hn, I did nothing but mention the truth."
Kurama sighed, "You told her that Yusuke was a spirit detective assigned to protect her."
Hiei responded, "No, but you did, Fox."
Kurama sweat dropped, "Eh"¦ I apologize for that, Kagome-chan, could you forget that for me?"
Kagome turned to face him, "Shuichi, you are a kitsune?"
Shuichi dropped his face into his hands, "Thanks, Hiei, for letting her find out."
Kagome, thoroughly interested in meeting another kitsune came up to him, tugging on his normal looking ears, looking for a tail, checking his teeth, "You can't be a kitsune, where are your ears and fangs and tails, are you hanyou? I sense human blood in you."
Shuichi sighs, "You can't be scared, promise?"
Kagome nods and Kurama transforms into Youko, her mouth opened in awe, "A silver fox!"
Youko looked at the girl with little interest until he came closer he could catch a faint whiff of an ice kitsune. "You are an Ice Kitsune and a Miko?"
Kagome looked around and nodded, "I am Kikyo's reincarnation so I have her miko abilities."
Youko sniffed her again, "Let me see your kitsune form."
She removed her bracelet and there stood the grey kitsune. She heard people running up the steps and she quickly puts the bracelet back on, disguising her features. Yusuke and Kuwabara appeared, freezing for a moment when they see Youko and Hiei. "Wait, we sensed three demon auras."
Kagome holding onto Hiei's arm, "˜please don't let anyone know, please as one demon to another.'
Hiei snorted softly, and Kagome took it for a yes, smiled and gave him a compulsive hug. Hiei turned red and leapt into a tree nearby. Youko pouted, he wanted a hug from the kitsune too, she laughed and complied with his request. Youko smiled, changing back into Shuichi. Kuwabara drops to his knees, tears streaming down his cheek. "Why?! You two knew I wanted to ask her out."
Everyone's favorite hanyou appears out of the well, and charging at Kazuma. Kagome turns and a smile was playing on her lips, "˜not even a day'
"InuYasha"¦"
He freezes, wary of what would happen next, ""¦SIT!"
He slams into the ground, "GOD DAMN IT, WENCH."
Kagome eyes narrow slightly, "InuYasha, don't you dare call me wench, my name is Ka-go-me."

THat's chapter two fixed and whatnot, I wrote this when I was 16-17ish so bear with me as I fix it...
