The bell rings for the end of school
Kagome left the gymnasium, and headed to her locker to get the rest of her homework, when she sees Riyo grabbing something from his locker, so she decides to finish the conversation they had earlier.
“Hey Riyo.”
“Huh, oh hi Kagome didn’t see you there”
“Ya well do you want to finish the conversation we we’re having during lunch?”
“Not really, I have to go pick up some stuff for my mom”
“Oh well see you tomorrow then”
“Hey Kagome have you ever ridden a motorcycle?”
“No, why”
Just then, Riyo threw a full-face helmet with blue flames on it at her. When she caught it, Riyo said, “Put that on.”
“Um…ok…”
They walked to the front of the school, and when they got there, they saw a bunch of guys standing in a group, staring at something.
When they got through the crowd of guys, Kagome said “Oh my god! You’re making me ride that!?”
In front her sat a street bike, which stood eight feet in length. It had two seats on it, which was what made so long. The painted blue flames licked across the jet-black bike surrounding a phoenix with wings of blue fire. Underneath this, was a slogan, which read, “Pheonix, the bird of everlasting life.”
“Hey Kagome you comin’ or do I leave you behind?”
With this said Kagome put the helmet on, and got on the back of the bike, praying to god that she wouldn’t regret it later.
“Hold on tight.” Riyo said, as the bike peeled out of the parking lot, leaving a 10-foot black rubber mark.
“Hey Kagome, you alright back there?” Riyo asked. “I think so, where are we headed?”
“We’re headed down town. My mom called me and asked if I could pick up some supper.”
“Ok, just one question though, where are you going to put the food?”
“There’s a compartment under the seat”
“Oh, ok. Is there anywhere else you have to go”?
“No not really but if you want after I get the food I can hit the highway?”
“Sounds like fun.”
15 minutes later, Kagome said, “I guess it’s off to the highway now right?”
“Hey if you don’t want to, I can bring you home. It’s up to you. I’m not going to force you.”
“Well then, lets hit the highway.” Kagome said.
“Cool. Now before we go, I have to say one thing. When we hit the highway I want you to hold on to me like your life depends on it.”
“Why?”
“Because people in cars are stupid and don’t like to watch out for motorcycles.”
“Oh, ok then.”
Five minutes later
“Ok Kagome remember what I said?”
His only answer was Kagome squeezing his chest tighter, and with that they entered the highway, going full throttle.
After about 30 minutes of driving, Riyo pulls off to the shoulder and says, “Hey Kagome, I know were having fun, but I think we should get back to Tokyo.”
“I agree but why do you think we should go back?”
“I have a funny feeling that’s telling me something bad is going to happen, and soon.”
“Alright lets go.”
With that said, Riyo turned the bike around, and started back to Tokyo.
Forty minutes later
Riyo stops in front of the steps to Kagome’s house, said good-bye, and left for home.
After taking about three steps up the stairs, Kagome runs into a figure long with silver hair and golden eyes.
