Brothers Promise

The first few chapters are going to be Inuyasha and Sesshomaru’s relationship (Aka Why Inuyasha never killed his brother and why Sesshomaru never killed him) This chapter Inuyasha is 8 and looks just a bit older, Sesshomaru looks the same as always. There is a bit of OOC in this chapter, and some fluff.

Oh and don’t worry by chapter four (maybe three) Sesshomaru and Inuyasha will be getting together (Actually Inuyasha throws a fit over it)

Chapter 2: Help me


It had been 3 years since Inuyasha was left alone in the clearing, soon after the hug he gave his brother Sesshomaru took off without another word. Things had been rough, real rough since the day his mother died, but some how Inuyasha managed.

The 8 year old half demon had been moving from village to village looking for work at first, but no one wanted to have a half breed around so Inuyasha turned to the land to survive.

Since it was such a beautiful day today the half demon boy decided to have fish for lunch, it wasn’t hard to start a fire since all the twigs and wood were dry and fish were plentiful in this river.

“Got ya!” The silver haired boy cried happily as he caught a giant fish for lunch. The fish struggled but it was no match for Inuyasha’s claws that dug into its scaly flesh.

The half breed’s older brother stood hidden high up in the trees surrounding the river watching with disgust as his younger brother gutted and cooked the fish.

It had become the closest thing to a hobby for Sesshomaru’s to watch Inuyasha when he wasn’t busy tending his lands or on some journey. He knew more about Inuyasha then he ever wanted to know.

For instance Sesshomaru knew Inuyasha hated cold dark places for some reason he had yet to find out, maybe it was because Inuyasha was always cold and in the dark when he went to sleep on a pile of ferns and leaves?

Also that Inuyasha loved to talk, but hated to talk to people who pitted or thought themselves higher then him. Pity and hate were what Inuyasha loathed the most in the world.

He had yet to see what day of the month Inuyasha turns human though, it seemed his brothers sent changed making him unrecognizable and the half breed knew to hide during that day for his own safety

But that was just the tip of the iceberg of what Sesshomaru knew about Inuyasha. Not all of the half breed was bad, most of it annoying, but some of the things Inuyasha did made him seem cute…

A shiver ran down the dog demons spine at that thought, no he did not just think Inuyasha was cute. That was wrong it showed he was beginning to warm up to the brat.

“Hmm, maybe abusing him for a bit would help that feeling go away” Sesshomaru mumbled to himself. It had been some time since he and Inuyasha fought, and fighting the half breed was always entertaining to say the least.

Even though Sesshomaru watched Inuyasha he never interfered, even if Inuyasha was in extreme danger. The older sibling didn’t want Inuyasha to start believing that he cared for him, so Sesshomaru watched and only watched. (A/n: Very odd considering Inuyasha is his future mate)

Only at times like these when he was bored or just wanted to let his frustration out did he fight with Inuyasha.

The demon lord was about to jump down out of the trees but stopped short and watched Inuyasha. The half demon that was now done with lunch seemed to be looking around for something.

A small smile came to Inuyasha’s lips confusing the dog demon, why was Inuyasha smiling?

“Hoshi come out” Inuyasha yelled. Sesshomaru’s eyes narrowed he had never seen Inuyasha with another person before let alone a Hoshi.

A man who looked like he was in his late 20’s stepped out of the bushes and grinned at Inuyasha.

“My, my Inuyasha does that nose ever fail you?” The handsome man asked. Hoshi was handsome in a rugged way. He wore silver armor to cover his bare chest and baggy samurai pants. His skin was tanned and had many scars from battles but it only served to make is slim yet strong build more handsome. His short messy black hair framed itself around his hairless face.

“Nope, my nose is one of the best in all of Japan!” The silver haired child bragged.

If possible Sesshomaru’s eyes narrowed even more, the look in Hoshi’s eyes did not suit his kind face. And the air around him screamed lust and arousal.

Inuyasha was slightly surprised to see his samurai friend, it had been a few weeks since Hoshi stopped by to visit but the half demon was glad Hoshi took the time to see him since he was always busy.

The 8 year old had met Hoshi one day when he was running away from a pack of demon pigs who wanted to eat him. If Hoshi hadn’t come to save him Inuyasha would have been in the pig’s stomach today.

Even though there was always a weird smell that surrounded Hoshi Inuyasha loved to have him around. It did get awful lonely out in the middle of the woods.

“You missed lunch but if you want I can get another fish” Inuyasha offered and gestured to the river. Hoshi gave him a pat on the head and shook his head.

“Nah I already ate, plus its getting to hot to cook. How about a swim?” He suggested and looked at the rivers water.

“Sure!” The half demon agreed and began untying the strings to his wet pants (he took off his shirt before he went fishing) After all he wanted his clothes to be nice and warm for when he got out of the rivers cool water.

Sensing a pair of eyes of him Inuyasha looked up at the still dressed Hoshi who was stairing at his now naked body.

“Are you going to swim in your clothes?” Inuyasha asked with confusion, Hoshi seemed to snap out of his daze and began undressing quickly. (A/n: pervert)

“Race you to the river!” Inuyasha yelled as he ran towards the water.

“No fair you got a head start!” Hoshi yelled trying to catch up to the 8 year old who had already dived into the slow moving water.

“Don’t be such a baby, I beat you fair and square” The boy splashed Hoshi. And that was the first move in a very long water fight, where Inuyasha would splash Hoshi and Hoshi would splash back. Occasionally one of them got dunked into the cool water.

This was ridiculous couldn’t Inuyasha see that humans erection? Wasn’t he the slightest bit concerned for why Hoshi would stare at him and touch him in private places by ‘accident’?

Sesshomaru was running on his last ounce of patience (sp?) All he wanted to do right now was rip the humans throat out for touching his future mate and becoming hard at the sight of his little brothers body.

And he would kill that pathetic human as soon as he was far enough away from Inuyasha, he didn’t want Inuyasha to smell Hoshi’s blood or hear his screams.

Hoshi was going down…

Inuyasha was exhausted from the long water fight and let gravity do its work as he fell onto the soft green grass. Hoshi laid down next to them, both were silent as the suns warm rays dried them.

“Inuyasha?” Hoshi’s voice was calm and quiet which was odd considering Hoshi’s loud personality.

“Yeah?” He said with out looking at his companion

“Do you trust me?” Hoshi asked, and now Inuyasha did turn his head to look at the human samurai

“With my life, why?” the silver haired boy asked not understanding where this was going.

“Then I need you to help me” Hoshi’s black eyes locked on with Inuyasha’s golden ones “And trust me enough not to tell me to stop.”

“Err okay…” Now Inuyasha was really confused, what did his friend need help with?

Slowly Hoshi sat up and crawled so he was on his knees next to Inuyasha’s feet. “Open your legs” Hoshi commanded, and Inuyasha obeyed. Hoshi had seen him naked plenty of times before so shyness wasn’t an issue, but he didn’t understand why he needed his legs to be open.

“You are very beautiful Inuyasha” the samurai whispered and wrapped Inuyasha’s small legs around his waste.

“Thanks…” Something wasn’t right about this, Inuyasha knew this and now for some reason he wanted Hoshi to stop running his hands down his chest arms and legs.

“Hoshi can you let me go?” Inuyasha didn’t mean for his voice to sound weak but that’s how it came out.

“Not until my problem is solved” Hoshi growled and began kissing Inuyasha’s neck, the half demon could feel his neck bruising from the rough kisses and bights.

“Hoshi what are you doing?! Stop it!” Inuyasha dug his claws in Hoshi’s shoulders but not even the pain would make the older man stop.

“Please Hoshi stop your scaring me” The nervousness was replaced with fear as Hoshi flipped Inuyasha over and spread his cheeks apart. Inuyasha struggled to get away from the older man, but even with a half demons strength he was no match for a full grown samurai.

The half demon felt the samurai’s weight and hardness pressed up against his backside and nearly started screaming. No matter how much he struggled he couldn’t get away from the painful grip on his hips that held him still.

A new familier sent filled the air that Inuyasha would have paid more attention to if he weren’t being attacked. It was only after a flash of white ran towards him and Hoshi yelled out in pain did Inuyasha look up.

The demon lord didn’t know what to do, he had seen Inuyasha get out of some pretty bad situations but nothing compared to this. Sesshomaru was silently praying that Inuyasha would manage to get away with out his interference, but his prays must have gone to deft (sp?) ears.

The dog demon made up his mind to help his brother who was now about to lose his virginity to a human. No way in hell Sesshomaru would let someone take what was his.

Quickly as he could move Sesshomaru jumped out of the tree he was in, and knocked the filthy human off his crying brother.

Hoshi let out a painful cry as he landed with a thud on the grass. The startled human didn’t even get a chance to blink before Sesshomaru slashed him into pieces using his poison claws.

“S-Sesshomaru” Inuyasha sobbed. The older sibling looked over at his brother who was still shaking in fear.

“He-he wouldn’t stop.” Inuyasha’s face was soaked with what seemed to be a never ending river of tears. “I don-don’t get i-it. Wh-what was he he doing?”

Sesshomaru turned his back on the body of the dead human and kneeled in front of his brother.

“He was going to rape you if I didn’t step in” Sesshomaru informed Inuyasha who was staring up at him with confusion

“R-rape?” Sesshomaru sighed; he didn’t want to be the one who explained this…

“It’s when someone has sex with another who doesn’t want to have sex. It’s lower than killing defenseless women and children, you are very lucky that he didn’t take you by force”

Inuyasha looked at the once alive body of his former friend then looked back at his older brother. His tears had stopped as his older brothers words sunk in into his young mind.

“C-can you hold me?” Sesshomaru’s eyes widened at his brothers request. Why would Inuyasha want to be held, and from him of all people.

“Please Sesshomaru” Inuyasha looked so weak right then, his face and body was pale and shaking. Bruises were already forming on his hips, and his neck had small marks covering it.

And once happy determined eyes were full of nothing but sadness and fear…

Sesshomaru sighed and pulled his brother into his arms, Inuyasha tensed for a split second before relaxing into Sesshomaru’s arms.

“Thank you Sess” Inuyasha buried his head into his bothers chest and began drifting off into a deep sleep. Sesshomaru ignored the nickname that he absolutely hated and just simply watched his brother sleep.
