Playing games in the S.J.

“Aw come on.” Shippou whined. “Kagome make him play with us.”

“InuYasha.” Kagome called. “Please come play hide-n-seek with me and Shippou.”

“Keh. No fucking way wench.” he replied.

Kagome walked toward the tree and stood under the branches of the Goshinboku. “Please Inu-kun.” she whispered. “If you do, you and I can play together later. Truth or dare maybe.”

He suggestion was followed by the sound of InuYasha jumping from the tree to land beside her. “Sneaky wench.” he said. “Let’s get this over with already.”

“Yay.” Shippou cried. “I’ll be it first.”

Shippou crossed his arms and rested his head against the, as he leaned against the sacred tree. He started to count and Kagome ran off into the trees nearby. She watched InuYasha take off in a different direction. She knew it wasn’t really fair to play with InuYasha and Shippou since both could sniff her out easily, but she didn’t mind, and secretly she had been working with Kaede to try and even the odds.

“Ready or not here I come.” Shippou yelled. Kagome waited for him to find her. She wanted him to, so she could try out what she had been practicing. “Ha, I found you Kagome.”

“So you did.” She replied. “I guess that makes me it.” She and Shippou walked back to the Goshinboku. “Go hide Shippou.”

The kitsune darted off as Kagome counted. She finally reached fifty and called out. “Here I come.” She closed her eyes and concentrated. After a moment she felt the, two familiar youki. She smiled. I’ve got you now InuYasha. Kagome acted like she was just bumbling around trying to find them but she was really headed straight for InuYasha.

She stopped under the tree he was in. “I found you and now you’re it.” she called up to him. “And it really isn’t fair for you to hide up there.”

InuYasha was surprised that Kagome had found him. He cursed inwardly. He had hoped that she and the brat would keep finding each other and that he could sit in the tree until they were tired of playing. He thought for a moment about refusing to play anymore but he knew that if he did Kagome would probably sit him and he could forget about playing with her later. “Keh fine wench.” he replied. “Get to hiding.”

Kagome giggled. “Don’t have too much fun InuYasha.” She teased and ran off.

InuYasha didn’t count. Instead he formulated a plan to put and end to this game and to start his own. When he felt that enough time had passed her sought out Kagome’s scent. It was easy to pick up. What puzzled him was every time he got close she seemed to know and she moved. Wench must be sensing me. He had hoped to sneak up on her but this would work too. He put on some speed and caught her as she was running to another hiding spot.

He tackled her careful to take the brunt of the impact on himself before flipping them over so that he was on top. “I found you.” he said, his voice low. He smirked when her scent changed and became tinged with desire.

“Inu…” she started, but was cut off by his lips crashing against hers. She made only a token attempt to resist as his tongue plundered her mouth before giving in and returning his kiss with equal fervor. The truth was she had been dying to kiss him again. Their first kiss after that revealing game of truth or dare while having eased the pain in her heart had done nothing for the ache of her body.

InuYasha was pleased when Kagome stopped fighting him and started kissing him back. Since the first real kiss they had shared, doing it again had been all that he could think about. Having her now lying under him he started thinking about a lot more than just kissing her. Tentatively he slid a hand under her shirt and rested it on her ribs. His thumb brushing against the strange binding she wore over her breasts.

Kagome was shocked by the presence of InuYasha’s delightfully clawed hand under her shirt, but it thrilled her at the same time. She let a soft moan escape to urge him to continue. She wanted him to touch her. The heat of his body pressed against her was overwhelming her senses.

InuYasha was encouraged by Kagome’s small sound of pleasure and his hand ventured up so that he was cupping her breast. He squeezed it gently and was pleased when she arched her back pressing herself more firmly into his hand.

Then suddenly his hand was gone as well as his body on top of hers and she whined softly. “Fuck. Damn that runt.” InuYasha growled.

Kagome got to her feet just as Shippou bounded out of the trees a short distance away. “What are you guys doing?” he asked. “I got tired of waiting. Is Kagome it?”

Kagome looked at InuYasha, who seemed to be on the verge of tearing Shippou limb from limb. “Listen Shippou I think we’ve played enough for today.” she told him. “I have to go to my time and get some supplies now. I’ll bring you back some candy okay?”

Shippou smiled. “Thanks Kagome.” He replied. “I’ll go play with the village children then now.”

When Shippou was gone InuYasha turned to Kagome. “Who said you were leaving wench?” he asked. “Besides we don’t need more supplies you just got more two days ago.”

“I know that, but he doesn’t.” she replied resting a hand on his chest.

“Then why’d you tell him that?” InuYasha asked. He was confused. It wasn’t like Kagome to lie.

“My family went to visit some friends.” She told him. “But if you don’t want to go somewhere that we won’t be interrupted I guess we can stay here and forget about playing that game I promised you earlier.”

InuYasha swept her up into his arms. “What the hell are we waiting for?” He asked. He raced them to the well and jumped in.
