Chewie, We're Not On Tatooine Anymore

|| Commercial Break v1.0 || Yeah, so I have a weakness other than Inuyasha *gasp*! The Star Wars Universe timeline doesn't flow - just like in Pulp Phantom. *Disclaimer* I don't own that either!! But it's a great SW parody! So, just enjoy the story ^.^ By the way, the Obi-Wan in this story is the younger one from Episode III...

Have you ever had one of those days when you wake up and say, "I have a bad feeling about this"? One of the days when you just know that you shouldn't get out of bed...for anything. Well, today was one of those days. And sure as the twin suns would rise upon Tatooine, Obi-Wan awoke to greet the dawn with that exact thought. Though at the time, being worlds apart, Sesshomaru arose with a similar speculation. Now, instead of either meditating or plotting to reap the rewards of the Tetsusaiga, both males were now pitted together, sword against lightsaber. And all because of one mistake...

Now the powers-that-be tend to jostle around people's lives, intertwine fates, make people's lives miserable for their own amusement. There had never been a problem with using a lightsaber against steel -only cotorsis-, but no matter his might, Obi-Wan could not break through Tokijin nor could the youkai destroy the blade. Crimson shadows danced upon Sesshomaru's porcelain skin as both bodies were drawn in close, the weapons still pressed hard together. At this particular moment, Kenobi wouldn't mind having a word or more with that bloody Han Solo; this, after all, had been the doing of that smuggler and his walking carpet, Chewie. Calling upon the aide of the Force, the Master Jedi flipped backwards from the youkai and landed into a square-horse stance with his weapon ready for another attack.

Had it not been for a group of individuals accompanied by a little girl and his own accompanying entourage, the duel perhaps would have lasted longer though Obi-Wan was relieved that it had ended as soon as it did. Skating a thumb against an ignition switch, the azure blade disengaged and the Master Jedi connected the hilt back unto his belt. Golden orbs narrowed as they continued their examination of intrigue, Sesshomaru sheathing Tokijin. Not caring for the arrival of his brother and his ningens, the daiyoukai signaled for Rin and Jaken to take leave with him, only stopping for a moment to glance over his shoulder.

"Until next time, Obi-Wan."

With those words, the Master Jedi's left eye barely twitched, glaring as Sesshomaru strode away. He had been summoned to this place, this world to aide in seeking out this item known as the Shikon Jewel, why he did not know. None of them knew. Sheepishly approaching Obi-Wan, Han flashed his 10-parsec-wide smile and playfully smacked at the other male's shoulder. Sure there had been a duel to the almost-death, but he had been in worse predicaments - like the time involving deathsticks, a twi'lek dancer, some glue, and a piece of paper.

"I think someone made a friend!"

"Never touch me again."

"Who pissed in your milk?"

"Will ya just shut the hell up so we can figure out how you guys are suppose to help us in getting the last few shards."

"There must be some sicko pissing in everyone's milk. Makes me glad I don't drink the stuff."

Bunching up his shoulders, Han simply didn't care about any of this. Not the duel that had taken place, not the shards of the whish-ma-get-it-thingy, the smuggler was only in it for the credits. That shouldn't have surprised anyone. They all discussed their plan and the contingency plan, but Obi-Wan could not let go of what had transpired earlier in the day. Something had been nagging at the back of his mind as though the Force was trying to warning him. But, the Darkside clouds everything...
