When the miko woke she found herself to be in the most beautiful room she had ever seen. The walls were a striking midnight blue with a night sky painted on them. The large balcony window was draped in white fabric pooling to the floor. The very large bed she sat upon was white as well. She reached out and touched the furs. They were light and feathery; kagome could not help to think despite the overwhelming sadness the enveloped her heart how fun it would be to roll naked on her bed allowing the furs to caress her body in their lusciousness.

Then she noticed it, her nails were now deadly claws. They started off black and turned into a beautiful brilliant white. Noticing a small black line on her wrist she pulled up the sleeve of her school uniform, black and white lines danced across her arm up to her elbow, curving this way and that. She sprung out of bed a raced to the full length mirror in the corner. Her thoughts instantly turned from the sadness of his betrayal to the new changes she seemed to acquire over night.

Kagome was amazed at what she saw. She wasn’t weak little kagome anymore she was a…angel! She looked over her shoulders to look at the new wings that had spurted from her back. They were large. Arching up from her shoulders the top reached above her head and the tips hit at her ankle. They were brilliant white until it came to the tips. They were the dark of night black, like they had been dipped in black ink and left to dry. That wasn’t the only physical change. She had developed a more womanly body and her hair was now a dark black streaked in white reaching down to her knees. Her eyes now were brilliant silver rimmed in dark silver. On the top of her eye lids she had red eyeliner that faded to black as it got closer to the nose. Black and white lines were on her face as well and a black and white star adorned her forehead.

She looked at her body covered in exotic markings and wondered how all of it had happened. The last thing she remembered was being carried by Lord Sesshomaru. She was caught up in looking at her new body she did not notice him entering the room.

He looked at the back of the angel, where was that girl he brought in earlier. Only one way to find out confront the one who did it. Within a second he had her pinned to the wall looking up at him with spell binding eyes. He sniffed the girl in front of him. No it couldn’t be. He inhaled again, it was the miko. But how?

She was pinned to the wall suddenly. And then he looked into her eyes and sniffed her. Shock was evident in his eyes, as well as in hers. The shock was over riding all other thoughts at the moment, she was too caught up to think about any thing else.

“Miko, why are you like this?” the lord probed. “If I knew I would tell you, but seeing as I woke up and found myself like this I am no wiser about the subject then you are” kagome said. His hold on the girl lessoned as he took a step back to look at the angel in front of him. Realization hit him like a brick. She was now a chaos demon. The flickering aura from the night before should have tipped him off. The end result now stood in front of him and it was beautiful.

“Miko, how long have you been a chaos demon?” he questioned. “A what?” she stammered back too stunned to believe it was true. “How long have you known about your new from, your family would have told you about it” the lord stated annoyed. “well they only told me stories about the demons of chaos I didn’t know they were actually true and they never told me that I would become one, I am totally in the dark here and all you can do is get angry at me, I never do anything right any more” she finished the last statement crying she felt the old sadness crawl back up. Kagome’s heart was breaking all over again.

“Miko I am not angry I am simply perplexed why you have changed that is all, usually it takes a very large and chaotic event in the person’s life to make them change. Usually they never change and the person never realizes their true calling” the lord said soothingly despite his inner anger, he didn’t want his actions to be the cause of her tears. “Go ask your idiot brother inuyasha what event I might have witnessed him doing that might have thrown chaos in my life” she spat out his brothers name like it was a foul poison still crying her silent tears. ‘So it was our idiot brother who made the beauty cry’ his beast spoke to him. ‘It would seem so, now that she is demon though, what can we do with her’ he spoke back. ‘The ceremony is coming and you will be forced to mate, regardless of your feelings, she could prove to be just the thing we need’ the beast smirked out. ‘True but how to pose the question to her she is still very emotionally weak’ he pondered. ‘Indeed’ it replied.

Kagome watched as Sesshomaru looked at her, she had begun to stop crying and dried her tears. ‘great inuyasha, I probably look like a mess now because you couldn’t keep it in your pants’ she thought anger seemed to help her heart more then crying though she knew deep down that she would cry until the pain eventually went away but now was not the time. She noticed the way his eyes scanned her new from she blushed a deep red as she noticed his eyes look at her long shapely legs. “Sesshomaru may I ask you a favor?” she quickly said drying the last of her tears. “It depends if I may ask you one in return” he replied. “Deal” she said prepared to give him a piece of her mind. “well as I was traveling with inutrasha I came upon a fox kit and adopted him as my own I was wondering if I could possibly go get him so he doesn’t have to be on his own again?” she asked confidently.

The women in front of him surprised him; a human had adopted a demon as a son and wanted him by her side. ‘She would be great for our pups’ his beast said. ‘Quiet you, I don’t know why I even let you out anymore’ the lord growled out. ‘Because you were bored and needed someone to talk to now pose the question and see her reaction’ the beast replied calmly.

“I will allow the fox kit to come if you will agree to my favor of you” he stated. “I would agree to almost anything to get Shippo back” she said. “I want you to become my mate” he stated calmly almost knowing the response he would get. Her face went into complete shock, he inwardly smirked.
