Returning Forever

A/N: I'm not completely sure on the interaction as far as Yusuke and Kuronue are concerned. I'm doing this chapter by chapter. I will state that I don't particularly care for Keiko. I'll be honest I don't think her and Yusuke belong together. That said, hope you enjoy the chapter. = ) ( I really dislike Keiko. What girl wouldn't want Yusuke groping them??????)

Chapter Two

Kuronue leaned against the tree as he watched both girls standing around talking. He smiled as the houshi came over to stand next to Sango. As expected the man's hand raised up to grab the woman's rear. She slapped him across the face leaving a large hand print. The man had to be either stupid or glutton for punishment.

"Hey, it was an accident. I am blind in one eye you know." Miroku looked up at her.

"Save it. Do it again and I'll remove the other." Sango crossed her arms and glared at him. He seemed to be getting worse in his groping these days. She was suprised he hadn't resorted to groping old Genkai yet. He stopped trying to grab Yukina the day his hand had come back a block of ice. She heard Kuronue's laughter behind her. Her head turned to meet his eyes, he merely gazed back. A blush crept up her cheeks at his intense stare.

His eyes left her face to roam over her body. She'd been staying at Genkai's for almost two weeks and it was already getting to him. He knew he could head back to the Makai and find something to do. For some reason he didn't want to go. The old woman didn't seem to mind him hanging around either. Seemed she was used to others hanging around her temple. Then again he saw how often everyone else seemed to stop by. This seemed the place for everyone to come to see each other. The only ones that hadn't been here in the last few weeks had been Kurama and Hiei. The two had disappeared somewhere in the Makai. He still didn't understand their reasoning for it. If Kurama wanted the girl he wouldn't have interfered even with his mark in place.

His eyes went back to her face, she was blushing under his scrutiny. He felt his body react to her and swore. Was he being tested somehow? Was Kurama testing to see if he could trust him around the woman the fox wanted for his mate? Being youkai they both knew of the pull the mark would have on him. His instincts were telling him to take her.

It bothered him knowing that she was in love with his partner. He wasn't sure of her feelings until lately but it was more than apparant. It was there in her eyes wheneve she spoke of him. The man had left her and she was patiently waiting for him to return. Of course she had no idea if he would or not. Kuronue knew that he would, he had no doubt about it. His partner never spoke false, he would return to claim the girl.

His senses perked when he felt someone coming up the steps. He heard them before he saw them and groaned. The hanyou wasn't that bad to be around but the other one got on his nerves. The boy had come to him to ask about the mark he'd placed on the miko. Kuronue wanted to call him a fool when the boy had shrugged his warning aside.

Yusuke was laughing when he walked up the steps. He was glad to finally get away from Keiko for the time being. His laughter stopped when he spotted the girl he'd been dreaming about standing in the middle of the yard. She turned and smiled in their direction. He felt his body react when flashbacks of the dream entered his mind. This was the first time he'd actually seen her since they'd left that day. He had to admit she was very pretty then he'd thought that the first day he'd seen her. Seemed a long time ago when she'd bumped into him on the street.

"Kuzuma," Yukina ran out the building and greeted them. "Have you come for dinner?"

"You know it babe, so whatcha cooking?"

"I'm not sure actually." She smiled at him. "Genkai has been busy most of the day with Kagome and Sango but I'm sure we will fix it soon."

"That's okay, I really came to see you."

Yusuke rolled his eyes and walked away. He didn't want to go near Kagome yet so he walked over to Kuronue. He sat down next to him, "How's it going?"

"Same as it is for you."

"What the hell is that suppose to mean?" Yusuke looked at him, he didn't like the look he was recieving.

"I think you know. It wasn't your friend's arousal I smelt."Kuronue sniffed again. "I should I say smell? You take a great risk by coming here."

"Whatever, I don't see you running away."

"I have centuries of experience controlling my youkai blood. You on the other hand are new to it. I will not do anything unless I want to." He let his gaze flicker back over to the taijiya and sighed. They were big words but were they true?

"I'll be fine."

"For your sake I hope so. I don't know the other man very well but he doesn't seem the type to forgive easily." Kuronue looked at the boy. His power indicated that he was indeed strong. "You should have at least brought your woman with you. That way she could take care of any urges that might arise."

"Shut up. The last thing I want to do is bring Keiko around Kagome."

"I take it you haven't told her." Kuronue laughed at him. Not that he could blame the boy, from what he'd seen of his girlfriend she appeared to be the type to get jealous easily.

"Hell no. I like breathing thank you. I'm not telling her I was trying to screw another girl."

"Or that you still want to. Don't deny it, it's a waste of time."

Yusuke glared at him knowing he was telling the truth. He still couldn't tell Keiko about it, which bothered him. Even being away from the girl for the last month he'd felt the pull Kuronue had warned him about. It had caused him to be cranky towards everyone around him. After snapping at her one day Keiko had asked him what was bothering him. He usually told her everything but this was something he couldn't talk to her about. How the hell could he tell his girlfriend that he was dreaming about another girl? Or that he often found himself wondering how it'd feel to slide his dick inside her instead of his finger.

He sighed and looked over at the girl in his thoughts. First he'd said it was a damn shame when he thought she was a lesbian. Now he was thinking it a shame that Hiei had already staked a former claim on her. Somewhere in the back of his mind a single thought echoed. Had Hiei really staked a claim on her, after all she was wearing his mark.
