A promise is to be kept always

Trouble with Trolls Chapter 2

"Where were you when I needed you?" He thought about what she had said while they began setting up camp, it was nearly night when they sat around the fire. He sat opposite her and watched her through the flames.
"Who, or what, has destroyrd half the village and it's people?" He glanced at her and saw that she was not happy. She looked scared yet determined not to cry, as she thought of the horrors. "A strange troll like man has invaded with a group of trolls he seems to lead....He calls himself Triton. He and his tribe have taken over everything, my kin work like slaves to make Triton happy..." She looked down sadly. "He is ...he is brutal and the size of a man, and he has horns. He has dark grey brown eyes and is extremely cruel..." He could see tears falling on the ground but couldn't see her eyes. He walked over from the other side of the fire and put his arm around her. He didn't know why but he had a need to protect her. " I shall help to free you, and your people.....Amaya?" She looked up tunshed tears in her eyes. "I waited so long for you too say that....too long..." She looked deeply into his eyes waiting for his reaction. "I know.....and you shouldn't have..." She didn't understand what he had meant. Did he think that her waiting for him to come back was foolish? Or was he apologising?? She decided to sleep on it. "I must sleep, unlike you demons....goodnight Sesshomaru..." He watched her as she went to bed. I wonder why she doesn't call me Sama.....and why she isn't afraid of me. He heard somthing in the bushes. "Where could that wench be?" "I don't know! Your the one who was supposed to watch the little bitch!" "Lord Triton will be very displeased that we lost his favourite toy!" He listened to the three trolls before stepping out of the bush, his mask of emotionlessness in place. "Are you demons looking for a young girl with bright red hair?" They looked at him. "Yes....the wench belongs to our lord and master.....have you found her?" Two of them where relieved but the last one was suspicous. "Yes, I have run into Amaya....but you shall never see her....or anything ever again for that matter!" They got ready for battle. Sesshomaru took out his sword and killed the usless looking ones in front of him. "Why you!" said the thrid rushing at him. Sesshomaru quickly cut off his arms and pinned him against a tree with his sword. "Where is your master? And what does he want with Amaya?" The demon actually looked scared of the hatred in Sesshomaru's eyes. "He likes her, he's even found a way to turn her half demon......he wants her to be his, i think...." He was starting to sweat as sesshomaru's sword started to spark up. "Tokijin?" He asked for the sword seemed to have three times more power than before. "You give your master a message! Amaya, if she is to be anyone's, she will be mine!" He pulled the sword out and left.
